As this writer revealed in my recent IDP Predictions piece here at Footballguys, I have been saddled with an awesome and awful power.

I can see into the future.

The origin of these powers is unknown, though it may have something to do with the microwave we had in my house in 1980 that glowed an eerie green whenever I made Pop Secret. However it happened, one day I realized I could just look at a guy and know he would become a used-car salesman. Look at another and know that he will be incarcerated because he has a Goldilocks-esque tendency to take naps in homes that do not belong to him.

Seriously. Castle Doctrine clearly dictates that the Three Bears have every right to eat that little burglar.

Now. I know what you're thinking (see?). If I have this power, why haven't I hit the Mega Millions multiple times? Won every fantasy league I have ever entered? Hit the road and made a fortune like Oz Pearlman?

That dude freaks me out.

The answer is a reflection of both my honor and humility—I have decided not to use my abilities for my own personal gratification. What's the fun of having billions of dollars, glory galore, and the life of a sultan when I can live paycheck-to-paycheck and complain about gas prices?

Nothing quite like needing a credit check to fill the tank.

Instead, I use my gifts for the benefit of humanity—and especially my loyal readers. That's the purpose here—to provide predictions that are equal parts bold and valuable. Predictions that will blow your mind. Predictions that will win your leagues.

You're welcome.

2026 Fantasy Football Predictions

Kyler Murray Will Not Only Win the Starting Job Under Center in Minnesota this Summer, But He Will Also Set a Career-High in Passing Yards and Finish as a Top-Five Fantasy Quarterback

There's a quarterback competition in the Twin Cities this summer between third-year pro J.J. McCarthy and newcomer Kyler Murray. The latter was released by the Arizona Cardinals, while the former is…J.J. McCarthy. Given the combatants in this battle, Murray will be the Week 1 starter in Minnesota. In fact, given how McCarthy has played his first two years, Eddie Murray would probably beat him out—and he's 70 years old. And a baseball player.

But that's only half of it.

Murray may have washed out in Arizona, but he was a top-10 fantasy quarterback as recently as two years ago and was the NFC's highest-scoring fantasy signal-caller in his Pro Bowl 2020 season. Two years ago. Kevin O' Connell and a loaded Vikings offense that just added wide receiver Jauan Jennings coaxed 4,319 passing yards and 35 touchdown passes out of Sam Darnold.

Murray is going to throw for 4,000 yards for the first time and throw 30-plus touchdown passes in 2026. Add in his rushing ability, and you have a top-five fantasy asset.

Two Running Backs Were Selected in the First Round of the 2026 NFL Draft—Jeremiyah Love at No. 4 to Arizona and Jadarian Price to Seattle With the Final Pick of Round 1. Love has Significantly More Hype Entering the Summer, But Price Will Have More PPR Points When the Dust Settles on 2026

To be fair, Love is a wildly talented do-it-all running back who tore it up at Notre Dame. But y'all—we literally just saw this movie a year ago with Ashton Jeanty. Like Love, Jeanty was a generational prospect (funny how many of those there are). Like Love, Jeanty was drafted in the top-10 by a dumpster fire of a team. Jeanty's RB11 finish in PPR points as a rookie wasn't terrible, but at best, he was drafted at his fantasy ceiling.

Love is going to be as well.

Meanwhile, up in the Pacific Northwest, the Seahawks thought enough of Love's Fighting Irish teammate to draft Price in Round 1 as well. Price has drawn comparisons to Javonte Williams. There are already reports that Price's receiving chops are better than expected, and he landed with a Seattle team that lost Ken Walker III in free agency and has Zach Charbonnet coming off an ACL tear. By the time he's recovered and ready to play, Price will already be entrenched as the lead back for the defending Super Bowl champions.

In the Steel City, Free Agent Addition Rico Dowdle Will Not Only be the Lead Running Back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, But He Will Top 1,000 Rushing Yards for the Third Straight Year and Be a Top-15 Fantasy Running Back
