Welcome to the Dynasty Trading Post, where we examine optimizing strategy, roster construction, format, and player value oscillations every week, providing examples and completed dynasty trades.

This week, we'll focus on Devin Neal and Michael Wilson, both recent risers with a shot to produce well in the closing weeks.:

*All trades are Superflex unless stated otherwise*

RB Devin Neal, New Orleans

Alvin Kamara has struggled through a frustrating season production-wise, and now a knee injury looks to be a multi-week absence with the potential for more. This opens the door for Devin Neal, a Day 3 pick but former four-year starter at Kansas, for the clarified starting role. Taysom Hill looms as a short-yardage threat, but the running back room consists of Audric Estime and, potentially, Evan Hull. Both are lower-pedigree cast-offs already on multiple NFL rosters.

Neal's strength of schedule is optimistic for the rest of the season, with Miami notably in Week 13, and Tennessee in the fantasy title game, and no avoid matchups. Neal will be evaluated for buy and sell opportunities.

Here are a few key trades involving Devin Neal this week:

By the market, a future 3rd is considered a neutral value and the most likely straight-for-a-pick construction for Devin Neal this week. If obtainable for a 4th (or multiple), adding Neal as a contender makes sense. Also, Neal has outs to be the RB2 (or in a committee) for the Saints in 2026, which fits with a Round 3 valuation (or a touch better).

Using Neal to flip for a future 2nd is a long-term winning strategy, and packaging him together like the Pearsall-Meyers example for a future 1st is a sound dynasty strategy. With plenty of running back committees around the NFL, Neal does not project to be in one with Alvin Kamara out, and Week 14 is still a tricky NFL bye week for must-win dynasty teams on the playoff fringe.

WR Michael Wilson, Arizona
