Quick Links: Quarterbacks | Running Backs | Wide Receivers | Tight Ends
It's Week 14. And because all of our fantasy teams are super powerful, we are likely already looking to the fantasy playoffs.
Right?
Or maybe all we need to do is limp into the playoffs and let our team go on that magic run.
It's not magic if you plan it out. Using the Footballguys Strength of Schedule, here's a look at the tight ends with the best matchups in this year's fantasy playoffs.
TEs With the Best Playoff Matchups
Miami Dolphins - PIT | CIN | TB
Does Darren Waller have good timing or what? After spending time on IR, Waller returned in Week 13 and will have a couple of games to get back into shape before facing the easiest fantasy schedule for tight ends.
If you held him during his IR time or just grabbed him off the waiver wire, this is an amazing time to be alive.
Baltimore Ravens - CIN | NE | GB
The big question in Baltimore is Mark Andrews or Isaiah Likely?
Against this schedule, the answer can be both. They combined for 9 catches and 142 yards against the Bengals in Week 13. Expect more like that during your championship run.
Indianapolis Colts - SEA | SF | JAX
Sometimes, life isn't fair. You can draft an elite talent and watch his team not scheme him open while he plays against tough defenses.
And sometimes, you take Tyler Warren and the world is full of ice cream and rainbows. The Colts are absolutely scheming for their rookie tight end, and his playoff schedule is primo. Life is good for Warren managers.
Detroit Lions - LAR | PIT | MIN
The good news is Sam LaPorta's fantasy playoff schedule was ready to give you a championship. The bad news, which I'm kind of sorry to remind you of, is that LaPorta won't be able to play for you.
Well, you can absolutely welcome Brock Wright to your league-winning roster. Defending tight ends is one of the few things the Rams don't do well, and Pittsburgh and Minnesota could be ready to pack it in by the time they each face the Lions.
New York Jets - JAX | NO | NE
Mason Taylor has shown typical rookie inconsistency this season (and Jeremy Ruckert has annoyingly taken a few targets as well). But if quarterback Tyrod Taylor can steady the team and continue to give balance to the offense, the road is there for the rookie tight end to excel down the stretch.
