Matt Waldman: Which rookie would you most want to add to your re-draft roster from this list?
Jeff Bell: I have been a Jonah Coleman believer for most of the summer; Denzel Boston has undeniably flashed, and Jadarian Price physically looks the part of a first-round running back. I am still sticking with Jeremiyah Love out of this group.
I see Reggie Bush with Love. There are the good parts, particularly his explosion and comfort in the passing game. And the bad. Love is a work in progress in developing NFL patience to let the play develop. Tyler Allgeier is not Deuce McAllister; the latter had his last strong season in Bush's rookie year.
But Allgeier is a quality NFL running back that coaches trust. He limited Bijan Robinson to a low-end RB2 rookie season, a realistic outcome for Love. Still, if one player in this group could pop to fantasy superstar status quickly, it's the guy who just went third overall.
Corey Spala: Despite a slow start to his career, I am sticking with wanting Jeremiah Love for my rosters. I like Jeff Bell's point that Love is the one player in this group who can develop as a fantasy superstar and do it quickly.
Love is working back from a high ankle sprain and, as a result, has averaged 41.6% snaps and 13.5 opportunities through two weeks. For reference, Love outtouched Tyler Allgeier 12-to-7 in Week 2 but played 24 percent fewer snaps.
Love has displayed his explosiveness in limited opportunities. I am optimistic that as he presumably gets healthier, his snap share and opportunities will increase. He is the caliber of player who will be hard to take off the field once he gets going.
Jeff Haseley: This has to be Jeremiyah Love, right? Denzel Boston is a good option though, based on what we've seen from him so far. He gets Carolina next week, who haven't allowed a passing touchdown in two games. We'll see what he does. He has been the Browns' top downfield target, and so far he has produced.
Love is still battling an ankle injury but playing through it. Long-term, I like Love, his draft capital, his pedigree, and what he means to the Cardinals - he's their long-term answer at running back, and I believe they will ride him. Once he fully heals from his ankle injury, he should be a focal point of the offense. Running backs with home-run speed and guaranteed volume roles simply hold a premium value.
Meng Song: Through 2 games, Tyler Allgeier has played 20 more snaps than Jeremiyah Love, including high-value passing downs. While the rookie figures to see more playing time as the season progresses, Allgeier is going to remain a thorn in his side.
The same could be said for Jadarian Price. We saw last year and thus far in 2026 that Seattle is happy utilizing a split backfield, even when they have a talented No. 1 running back.
And don't even get me started on a rookie in a Sean Payton committee backfield. Jonah Coleman played fairly well against Jacksonville, but it sounds like J.K. Dobbins just had bad cramping and will be back this week.
Plus, R.J. Harvey could also return from his hamstring strain in Week 3. I saw a lot of advice about Coleman being the top waiver add after Week 2, but I hope fantasy managers didn't go overboard. This still projects to be a gross committee in Denver barring further injuries.
That leaves Denzel Boston as the rookie I would probably want most among these four in redraft. We've seen him flash that big-play ability with two long touchdowns now in as many career NFL starts.
The biggest worry heading into the season was whether the Browns offense could sustain fantasy production from any skill-position players. Off-field issues aside, Deshaun Watson seems to maybe be regaining some of his pre-Achilles injury form? I'm cautiously optimistic that Watson might just remain the starter and make Boston a viable PPR flex play, possibly more.
Gary Davenport: I want to say Denzel Boston here—he appears to have already become the No. 1 wide receiver in Cleveland. But Deshaun Watson's leash is exceedingly short under center for the Browns, and if Shedeur Sanders replaces Watson, I fear that Boston could go from hero to zero with the speed and quickness.
So, it's the player who was drafted the earliest this summer (by a sizable margin) in Jeremiyah Love. Yes, Love's usage over Arizona's first two games has been—puzzling. His production has been pedestrian. And the Cardinals are a bad team. But Love's usage should increase as the season wears on—not even the Redbirds are dumb enough to draft a running back third overall and then barely use him.
I think. OK, I hope. Sigh.
Mike Kashuba: I think Jadarian Price is a nice buy-low if your team is in a place to wait another week. He left Sunday's contest early with an injury, and the drumbeat is on Zach Charbonnet returning from an ACL tear "as soon as Week 5". Week 5 would be extremely early for a return, and even when he does come back, it's likely going to be a split while Charbonnet returns to game speed.
While that split is happening, we'll have an explosive rusher tied to a great defense looking to put games away once they're up by a score or two. Seattle runs the ball no matter what. The team is averaging over 30 attempts per game this season.
Price is in a great spot to bounce back if he's healthy this week, or to continue building on his touch count until Charbonnet returns. Even then, 13-16 carries and a couple targets can be enough for him to be a serviceable RB2/Flex option the rest of the season.
