WEDNESDAY MEDIA UPDATES
***Adam Schefter reported Melvin Gordon could return soon. However, Gordon told reporters he remained sore and Anthony Lynn said Gordon would have to participate in team drills before returning. It's likely that next Thursday night's game in Kansas City will be Gordon's target. A limited practice by week's end would be reassuring.
***Both Julio Jones and Michael Thomas and T.Y. Hilton missed practice today. Neither are expected to miss this week's game but check Thursday's practice report for another DNP to be certain there are no concerns.
***This week's quarterback list is the longest of the season. Joe Flacco isn't likely to play this week but every other quarterback is either getting planned days off or working back to play this week after a multiple-week injury. Sam Darnold and Mitchell Trubisky are both expected back.
***Watch Joe Mixon's practice participation on Thursday. There did not appear to be any concern after last week's game about a foot injury. It's possible this injury occurred during practice. If Mixon isn't practicing on Thursday, there's concern for his availability this week.
***Kerryon Johnson has yet to return to practice. The Lions continue to express optimism Johnson can return this season but he's again looking doubtful this week.
THURSDAY NIGHT INJURY EXPECTATIONS

Jacksonville at Tennessee
***There was some concern about Jalen Ramsey's availability on a short week but he returned to a full practice on Wednesday and is not listed on the game status report.
***The Titans have a number of players missing practice with minor injuries but all returned to practice by week's end and will play.
