RB De'Von Achane, Dolphins
Achane's injury creates a vibrant contender and rebuilder dynasty trade market. Achane on a contender points to selling for production now and the lineup vacancy created with his absence. Interestingly, Achane was a disappointment this year through his two healthy games with Miami struggling to fuel Achane in the passing game as much as previous seasons and seeing few touchdown opportunities. On the flip side, Achane is the perfect rebuilding target to align production toward 2027 (Achane's early-season injury is a stronger projection to be ready Week 1 than if injured later in the season) and shed points, which matter little, this year.

Shifting production for non-production (or later production) is one of the easiest dynasty trade constructions. Achane's macro projection is still for multiple RB1-level seasons in the future and has contract allegiance in Miami. The biggest drop in value is the lost season in his prime at 25, but he was on pace for his worst season yet with Miami's futility. The best case is Miami improves with notable offseason additions, and Achane is ready for Week 1, back to RB1 fantasy production.
