Welcome to the latest edition of AMA Recap! We'll be summarizing our bi-weekly Discord AMAs, leading up to the 2025 NFL season. This week, Footballguys Analyst Alfredo Brown answered questions about 2025 sleepers, Trevor Lawrence's 2025 outlook, and how to execute a quarterback-for-wide-receiver trade in dynasty.
Rome Hasn't Fallen
robertcarter9423: Who are your targets and sleepers this season in PPR (points per reception) leagues?
Alfredo: There are a few sleepers I am targeting in every draft. Rome Odunze is someone who excites me. Let's face it, last season the Bears had some bad game planning. With the arrival of new head coach Ben Johnson, things should change there. I can see Oduzne easily outperforming his ADP as the current WR38. I have him ranked as my WR20. A few other guys I like drafting are Josh Downs, Ricky Pearsall, and Drake Maye. We covered all these guys on the most recent episode of the Footballguys Fantasy Football Show.
Fantastic Tre-vour?
shirvylombardi: What superhero conveys your thoughts on Trevor Lawrence's 2025 outlook?
Alfredo: Mr. Fantastic from The Fantastic Four, specifically, the new version of Mr. Fantastic being portrayed by Pedro Pascal in the soon-to-be-released The Fantastic Four: First Steps. We've seen this character tried multiple times before, just like we've seen Trevor work with different coaches. This time, though, I truly believe it will work!
Quarterback For Receiver Transactions
d00dmeister: I'm trying to finalize a deal centered around a QB. I have Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, and Justin Fields. I also have the Indianapolis Colts quarterback duo of Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson Sr. Which quarterback are you trying to trade for a receiver like Drake London, Chris Olave, or Rome Odunze? Most recently, Jones + Richardson + 27 1st for Drake London was rejected.
Alfredo: London is going to come at a high price, but you know what you're getting with him. I'd probably offer Fields and a future first-round selection. Your leaguemate will likely want Fields and multiple future first-round picks if they are greedy like me. It all depends on whether or not he needs or wants a quarterback. I'd see what he is looking for and ask him in what order he values his wide receivers. Might be surprised at who he values the least.
