Welcome to Week 13 of the 2025 Footballguys Roundtable. Our intrepid panel of fantasy pundits discusses and debates four topics every week. We split the conversation into separate features.
This week's roundtable features these four topics:
- Best Thanksgiving Fantasy Matchups
- Stretch-Run Stars
- RBs Who Might Start in 2026
- 2026 WR Rebound Candidates
Let's roll...
Matt Waldman: Pick an offensive or defensive player against an opposing player or unit. Tell us why they are your nominee for the best Thanksgiving Day fantasy matchup.
Meng Song: Is there a better bounce-back opportunity for Patrick Mahomes II than against Dallas on Thanksgiving? His past three games have been against some challenging defenses for fantasy production at the quarterback position. The Bills and Broncos were both bottom-10 in adjusted fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. Last week, it was the Colts who finally got all their starting cornerbacks back healthy.
This week, the Cowboys give Mahomes a reprieve. Dallas leads the league in adjusted fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
Even with Xavier Worthy playing through an ankle injury, expect Mahomes to eclipse 20-plus fantasy points. Mahomes will be feasting on turkey legs and fantasy goodness when the clock hits double zeroes on Thanksgiving afternoon.
Dave Kluge: Tight ends have been crushing the Bengals all year. They're giving up 9.4 more fantasy points per game than the league average, and 5.3 more than the next-closest team.
Isaiah Likely has had a quiet season since returning from injury, but if he bounces back in this matchup, fantasy managers should feel more confident streaming him when these teams meet again in Week 15. I'll gamble on Likely this week if I'm desperate.
David Zacharias: I'm on the same page as Meng. The Dallas/Kansas City matchup should provide a delicious Turkey Day buffet of fantasy points for the opposing quarterbacks. In a game that oddsmakers have made the Chiefs three-point favorites in the highest-scoring matchup of the week, Prescott should be called upon to throw the ball 40-plus times to keep up with Mahomes.
Corey Spala: Cincinnati let Hunter Henry (115 yards) and Austin Hooper (39 yards) accumulate a total of 154 last week. Baltimore's offense may need to rely on the tight ends in the passing game due to the uncertainty surrounding Lamar Jackson's (toe) and Rashod Bateman's (ankle) health.
Dave Kluge mentioned Isaiah Likely, and I agree with him. In fact, both Likely and Mark Andrews should be in play this week.
