Welcome to Week 15 of the 2025 Footballguys Roundtable. Our intrepid panel of fantasy pundits discusses and debates four topics every week. We split the conversation into separate features.

This week's roundtable features these four topics:

Let's roll...

Matt Waldman: If not for a temporarily healthy Marvin Harrison Jr. serving as a speed bump in Week 13, Wilson was on track for one of the two or three best four-game stretches of production, ever at the position. Despite Harrison's presence in Week 13, Wilson was still fifth on the list.

Wilson is under contract through the end of 2026. Kyler Murray is likely gone at year's end. Jonathan Gannon, too. There are a lot of moving pieces right now.

  • Wilson's deal is probably trade-friendly with a new team getting the shot to re-sign him in 2027.
  • A new coach/coordinator might not feel they must be tied to Harrison as the WR1.
  • The Cardinals could acquire a rookie or a veteran heir apparent to replace Murray. They might stick with Brissett.

With these factors surrounding Michael Wilson's future, what is your recommendation to dynasty GMs when it comes to potentially acquiring Wilson? Do you recommend it? Why or why not?

Will Grant: For a dynasty GM, I think Michael Wilson is a buy. His performance over the last four games has been outstanding, and he will finish the season with career-best numbers across the board. However, as Matt has pointed out, the future in Arizona is uncertain, and Wilson's situation could change dramatically in the coming seasons.

Our dynasty rankings currently list Michael Wilson as the  No. 73 WR overall. That seems low given his recent performance, but the explosion is still fresh, and the sample size is very small. While Wilson's upside is appealing, caution is advised for those considering acquiring him before the end of the year.

Meng Song: Maybe Michael Wilson can develop into a consistent fantasy contributor, but I wouldn't pay more than an early third-round rookie draft pick to acquire him in dynasty. Wilson in 2025 reminds me a little bit of 2024 Jauan JenningsFrom Weeks 8 onward last season, with Brandon Aiyuk injured, Jennings averaged a markedly higher 33 percent first-read target share.

It's no coincidence that since Jacoby Brissett became the starter in Week 6, Wilson's splits, with and without Marvin Harrison Jr. healthy, have also been stark. In three games with Harrison out due to injury, Wilson has averaged an incredible 37 percent first-read target share and 30.8 PPR PPG. However, in five games with a healthy Harrison, Wilson's per-game averages dipped drastically to a 17 percent first-read target share and just 7.7 PPR PPG.

Breshad Perriman won fantasy leagues in 2019 after Mike Evans got injured in Week 14. In the fantasy playoffs that year, Perriman was a top-five fantasy wide receiver, averaging 22.6 PPR PPG. Hopefully, you didn't pay a second-round rookie pick for Perriman that offseason. Don't pay a second for Wilson this offseason.

Grant: As Meng pointed out, a third-round rookie pick next year feels like the right level for Wilson right now. Someone who could be a starter on your squad if the team situation around him is correct, but also someone you'd want on your bench as things develop in Arizona.

In a straight-up trade comparison, I would take a WR trade for someone like Davante Adams (WR38) or Courtland Sutton (WR41), both of whom are ranked much higher than Wilson right now. I'd hesitate to spend much more than that, though, simply because we are only talking about the last four games out of the 42 that Wilson has played.
