Welcome to Week 15 of the 2025 Footballguys Roundtable. Our intrepid panel of fantasy pundits discusses and debates four topics every week. We split the conversation into separate features.

This week's roundtable features these four topics:

Let's roll...

Matt Waldman: These four options have underperformed for the past three or four weeks.

Who do you believe is the closest to a must-bench from this group?

Dave Kluge: Justin Jefferson is hardly returning fantasy WR5 production without Carson Wentz this year. In his 8 games without Wentz, Jefferson is averaging just 41.6 receiving yards and 8.7 PPR points per game. That averages out to WR54 on the year.

Jefferson is inarguably one of the best receivers in the league, but it's hard to start him considering his offensive environment. If you somehow drafted Jefferson and were able to sneak into the playoffs, don't be afraid to start a Michael Wilson or Christian Watson ahead of him in Week 15.

Gary Davenport: I want to say it's Jefferson, but I can't. Not yet. Not with Dallas' non-existent defense next up on the schedule. Ladd McConkey draws a favorable fantasy matchup with the Cowboys in Week 16, but it's sandwiched between a so-so Week 15 tilt with the Kansas City Chiefs and a terrible one with the Houston Texans and their league-leading defense in Championship Week.

McConkey posted a 4-catch, 107-yard, and 1-touchdown stat line not that long ago against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he hasn't seen more than six targets in a game since October. Justin Herbert was spreading the ball around a lot when he was healthy, and his broken left hand is clearly affecting him. It's becoming more difficult by the week to roll McConkey out with any kind of confidence.

Meng Song: I hate to say it, but I think you've got to bench Ladd McConkeyJustin Herbert was already struggling behind a Chargers offensive line that ranks in the bottom five in pass block win rate, with Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt both on season-ending IR. Now, the passing game is even harder to trust with Herbert playing with one hand.

On top of that, the fantasy playoff schedule is brutal for the Chargers' wide receivers. Perhaps McConkey will be startable against the Cowboys in Week 15, but do we trust him against the Chiefs this week or the Texans in the fantasy championships?

Kansas City is in the bottom 10 in adjusted fantasy points allowed to wide receivers (even ones with healthy quarterbacks), and Houston is in the bottom five. No, thank you.
