Now that most of the free agency frenzy dust has settled, we can get back to trying to take advantage of gaps between perceived and actual value by making trades in dynasty leagues and drafting best ball teams. Who should we be in on as the fantasy football hive mind adjusts to the flurry of player movement and revealing moments about team psychology?

TE Kyle Pitts Sr., Atlanta

The Falcons are going to have a super-concentrated offense around Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Pitts. New head coach Kevin Stefanski called himself a tight end "aficionado" at the introductory press conference, and the Falcons subsequently committed $15 million to Pitts via the franchise tag, so we can see how much Stefanski values him. Pitts was producing at a league winner level when Drake London missed time last season, and he should be a top-five tight end (with extra volume-based value in TE premium and PPR leagues) even if London plays 17 games. Tua Tagovailoa could be an upgrade as a passer from the quarterbacks Pitts has played with so far in his Falcons career, and Stefanski immediately turned around Cleveland and Baker Mayfield when he took over there in 2020. Atlanta has an experienced offensive line, which could help Tagovailoa regain his confidence after former teammate Darren Waller said he thought head-injury trauma was compromising the quarterback's ability to translate his excellent practice performance to game day. Pitts is only 25, and his most productive football is likely ahead of him.

WR DJ Moore, Buffalo

How happy is Josh Allen after the Bills acquired Moore? Promoting Joe Brady to head coach was seen as a sign that this was now truly an Allen-centric operation, and this move lends credence to that idea. Footballguys alum Matt Harmon from Yahoo Sports wrote "I’ve spoken to Josh Allen previously and he highlighted that he doesn’t care if his WR1 is always at the right depth in his routes or not, as long as he “just gets open.”  Moore previously had a career year with Justin Fields. He and Caleb Williams never clicked. It's possible Moore and Allen also have trouble getting on the same page, but more likely that Allen's derring-do outside of structure will get Moore's numbers back to where they were with Justin Fields. When I put it that way, Moore getting back to season totals of 96-1364-8 doesn't seem so far-fetched, does it?

RB David Montgomery, Houston

Joe Mixon was a fantasy RB1 after the Texans traded for him in 2024. Montgomery will be set up in a similar situation and with a rebuilt offensive line. The Texans' defense will create game scripts that allow them to feed Montgomery, who should have a little more tread left on the tires after the Lions used him less with Jahmyr Gibbs' emergence.

RB Chris Rodriguez Jr., Jacksonville

Just listen to Liam Coen talk about Rodriguez when they were together at Kentucky. The Jaguars gave the running back over $6 million guaranteed on a two-year deal. They are going to use him and Bhayshul Tuten as a 1-2 early down punch. Which of the two could emerge as the clear starter? It's not the one that Coen gushed about for his reliability. Tuten has had fumble issues in the past, and the fact that Coen signed Rodriguez after having Tuten in the building for a year is telling. Rodriguez should also be the goal line and the back that finishes wins in the fourth quarter.

WR Jalen Coker, Carolina
