Welcome to the Dynasty Trading Post, where we examine optimizing strategy, roster construction, format, and player value oscillations every week with real-world completed dynasty trades.
This week, we will look at injured (or exempt) players to start the season.
All trades are Superflex unless stated otherwise.
RB TreVeyon Henderson, Patriots
Henderson has faded over the course of the offseason as Rhamondre Stevenson has proven to be a tough veteran to surpass on the New England depth chart. Henderson's swoon has crested over the past 2-3 weeks with an ankle injury. The market has Henderson down in the RB20 range, a far cry from his peak in the top 10 at moments in the first 16 months of his NFL career.
Instructive Dynasty Trades
- Henderson for Marvin Harrison Jr.
- Henderson for 27 2nd, 27 2nd
- Henderson, 28 2nd for Ladd McConkey
- Henderson for Jordan Addison, Alec Pierce

At a minimum, Henderson is a flex-viable option with RB1 moments even in a committee with Stevenson. One of the more obvious times to get talent and upside at a discount is when a player is injured or absent.
RB Josh Jacobs, Packers
