Understanding the NFL's Injury Report
(per Dr. Bramel - Footballguys OG)
"The injury report released by the NFL is [made up of] two reports. The first is the Practice Participation report, which lists which injured players practiced and their participation level. It also includes players who rested or missed practice for non-injury-related reasons. The second is the Game Status Report, which gives the probability a player will play, i.e., Questionable, Doubtful, Out. The Practice Participation Report is released every day of the week (Monday through Saturday). The Game Status Report is released with the Friday participation report (Wednesday for Thursday games, Saturday for Monday games). In this feature, I'll include the Game Status Listing and my expectations of their likelihood of playing."
If you are reading this article on Saturday, make sure to come back on Sunday morning as more updates trickle in within the next 24 hours.

* Key: Player, Team | Injury | Game Status Listing | Playing Expectation
Sunday 1:00 PM EST Games
WR Rashod Bateman, Baltimore | Ankle | Questionable | Projecting Inactive
Rashod Bateman was added to Thursday's injury report with an ankle injury. While it's unclear whether this is the same ankle issue that caused him to miss Weeks 11 and 12, that appears likely given that he did not practice on Friday.
At this point, Bateman seems to be on the wrong side of questionable heading into the weekend.
WR Quentin Johnston, LA Chargers | Groin | Questionable | Projecting Inactive
Quentin Johnston was a late addition to the injury report, a trend you never want to see. He did not practice on Friday due to a groin injury, and assuming this is a new issue, it's unlikely Johnston will play in Week 14.
Groin injuries can be particularly limiting for wide receivers, given the demands of cutting and acceleration. Until Johnston can log at least a limited practice, his availability remains in serious doubt.
WR Rome Odunze, Chicago | Foot | Questionable | Projecting Inactive
The Rome Odunze situation is difficult to assess. While it's unclear how long Odunze has been dealing with the stress fracture in his foot, after sitting out Week 14, it's fair to question how much true healing could have occurred in just one week. Odunze was limited all week, but there does appear to be some optimism that he will play.
The Bears are optimistic about wide receiver Rome Odunze (questionable, foot) playing Sunday vs Cleveland, per sources.

Whether he should play is the next question, and whether fantasy managers should trust him is another. Foot injuries are difficult for any athlete, especially NFL wide receivers who rely on explosion and sharp cutting. Even if Odunze suits up, I recommend leaving him out of fantasy lineups this week.
