Sunday Morning Update

Not a lot to update this week. My least favorite part of this article is that after this article gets released, other sites react which changes the overall landscape of the industry. Brian Thomas, Cincinnati, and Jakobi Meyers have all increased, while Wan’Dale Robinson has decreased in popularity.

No change in the Primary Cash Lineup. Tyrone Tracy has me nervous, as he’s the guy that a lot of people are going to be on, as they’re likely going to pay down from Brian Thomas to a Stefon Diggs or Wan’Dale Robinson to fund this.

Week 8 Recap- Loss, Season Record 2-6

It’s almost laughable at this point. To be 2-6 is just a season of bad lineups and a lot of bad luck. The last two weeks have literally been decided on two plays. In Week 7, it was CeeDee Lamb’s 73-yard touchdown reception on the first drive, and this week it was Saquon Barkley’s 65-yard touchdown on the first drive. Both were players that I intentionally liked, but chose to go in a different direction from the field.

Would I do anything differently if I could replay this over again is the big question I ask myself every week.

For this week, the answer would be no. If you told me that I could have Bijan Robinson or Saquon Barkley straight up and the winner of that straight up matchup would be the reason you won or lost in the given week, I would take Bijan Robinson 100 times out of 100. Robinson had by far the worst matchup he has had in all season in what was his best matchup.

It would be one thing if retrospectively these were just bad lineups, but Week 7 it was Justin Jefferson +10 vs CeeDee Lamb and this week it was Bijan Robinson +10 vs Saquon. Saquon puts up 34.4 and Bijan puts up 4.3. It’s impossible to win that way. In hindsight would I have liked to start Joe Flacco or Bo Nix which would have likely gotten me on Saquon instead of Bijan, yes, but Tyler Huntley was more than fine almost hitting 3x.
