KEY THURSDAY MEDIA UPDATES
***Antonio Brown was added to Pittsburgh's practice report after missing practice with his lingering toe injury. His DNP was described as a day of rest and there are no worries about his Week 14 availability.
***Zach Ertz continues to progress through the exercise stages of the return-to-play protocol. If he has no recurrent symptoms before practice on Friday, he'll likely be cleared for a full practice and visit the independent neurologist. He looks probable to play.
***Greg Olsen told reporters on Thursday he was ready to play through whatever soreness and conditioning limitations this week. He'll likely be limited to 25-30 snaps but he's fully practiced this week and will have a role in Carolina's game plan. He'll be reacclimating to game speed against a tough Minnesota defense.
***Matthew Stafford reportedly looked more comfortable throwing in Thursday's practice. There was never any doubt Stafford would play but today's news is reassuring for his ability to throw with his usual accuracy and strength.
***Chris Hogan was optimistic in a locker room interview after returning to practice on Thursday. He stopped short of saying he'd return on Monday night and it's very unlikely he'll have a full practice this week. But it's reasonable to expect him to play. Rishard Matthews and Kelvin Benjamin fully practiced today and also look ready to return.
***Joe Mixon wasn't cleared for individual drills today. It's now almost impossible for him to be cleared for contact by Sunday. Hopefully, he'll recover well enough to return in Week 15. Adrian Peterson also missed another day of practice and there's no indication he'll be cleared to return soon.
EARLY WEEK PRACTICE PARTICIPATION REPORT AND EARLY EXPECTATIONS
The Wednesday and Thursday practice participation reports are our first chance to see which players each NFL team are limiting in practice after the previous week's games. Players limited in mid-week practice aren't necessarily in danger of missing that week's game. But they all need to be watched closely.
