Rank | Player | Opponent | Salary |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Dak Prescott | at Panthers | $6,500 |
2 | Drake Maye | at Saints | $5,900 |
3 | Baker Mayfield | vs 49ers | $6,600 |
4 | Sam Darnold | at Jaguars | $5,400 |
5 | Bryce Young | vs Cowboys | $4,800 |
This Cowboys at Panthers game has the highest Over/Under (49.5) on the main slate, and Dak Prescott has a good matchup against a Panthers defense that ranks 20th in both EPA/Play Allowed and Dropback EPA Allowed. Prescott is playing amazing football. He ranks fourth in both passing yards per game (271.2) and pass touchdowns (2) and is leading a Cowboys offense that ranks second in EPA/Play.
Drake Maye's talent is scintillating, and Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels know it. New England's offense ranks fifth in Pass Rate Over Expected (PROE) and eighth in Early Down Pass Frequency (EDPF). Maye ranks eighth in passing yards per game (252.2) and is in a good spot against a Saints defense that ranks 26th in EPA/Play Allowed and 28th in Dropback EPA Allowed. This is an intriguing game with low-key shootout potential, making Maye a good play in both cash and GPPs for yet another week.
This 49ers at Buccaneers game is my favorite of the week for fantasy. Baker Mayfield continues to crush. He leads a Buccaneers offense that ranks eighth in EPA/Play and 11th in PROE, and he ranks sixth in passing yards per game (256.6) and fourth in pass touchdowns per game (2). Mayfield is at home, and the 49ers' defense ranks middle of the pack in both EPA/Play Allowed (14th) and Dropback EPA Allowed (17th).
This Seahawks at Jaguars game projects to be competitive and has a strong 46.5-point Over/Under. San Darnold is priced affordably at $5,400. He leads a Seahawks offense that ranks seventh in EPA/Play, and he ranks 11th in passing yards per game (249.2) and 12th in pass touchdowns per game (1.8).
Bryce Young provides salary savings priced at $4,800. This Cowboys at Panthers game has the highest Over/Under (49.5) on the main slate, and Young has a fantastic matchup on tap at home against a Cowboys defense that ranks 31st in both EPA/Play Allowed and Dropback EPA Allowed.
Running Backs
Rank | Player | Opponent | Salary |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Rico Dowdle | vs Cowboys | $5,800 |
2 | Christian McCaffrey | at Buccaneers | $8,400 |
3 | Jonathan Taylor | vs Cardinals | $8,500 |
4 | Josh Jacobs | vs Bengals | $7,300 |
5 | Javonte Williams | at Panthers | $6,400 |
6 | Quinshon Judkins | at Steelers | $5,900 |
Rico Dowdle turned 27 opportunities into 234 total yards and 1 touchdown last week. That incredibly impressive performance is impossible to ignore, and Chuba Hubbard is out once again this week. This Cowboys at Panthers game has the highest Over/Under (49.5) on the main slate, and Dowdle is playing at home against a bad Cowboys defense that ranks 31st in EPA/Play Allowed and 23rd in Rush EPA Allowed. He also has revenge on his mind after Dallas let him walk in the offseason.
Christian McCaffrey leads the NFL in opportunities per game (28.6), ranks second in total yards per game (133.8), and ranks third in the entire NFL in targets per game (10.4). This 49ers at Buccaneers game is my favorite of the week for fantasy. McCaffrey is a weekly cash game lock until further notice.
The Colts are 6.5-point home favorites against a bad Cardinals team that just embarrassingly collapsed against the Titans last week. Jonathan Taylor ranks fourth in opportunities per game (22.4), fourth in total yards per game (122.6), and he leads the NFL in touchdowns (7).
This is the first week of teams on bye returning in the 2025 season, which creates a small buy window due to recency bias. The Packers are 14.5-point home favorites against a bad Bengals team and defense that ranks 27th in EPA/Play Allowed and 26th in Rush EPA Allowed. Due to the bye, most won't be super tuned into the fact that Josh Jacobs ranks second in the NFL in opportunities per game (23.5), 13th in total yards per game (96.3), and ninth in touchdowns (4). He's a fantastic play in both cash and GPPs.
This Cowboys at Panthers game has the highest Over/Under (49.5) on the main slate, and Javonte Williams has a good matchup against a Panthers defense that ranks 20th in both EPA/Play Allowed and 22nd in Rush EPA Allowed. Williams ranks tenth in opportunities per game (19.8), eighth in total yards per game (105), second in touchdowns (6), third in Rush Yards Over Expected per Attempt (RYOE/ATT) (+1.68), and first in Rush Success Rate (53.2%). DraftKings has messed up Williams' price. He should be the same price as Josh Jacobs, not $900 cheaper.
Quinshon Judkins has been incredibly impressive. He ranks sixth in opportunities per game (20.8), ninth in total yards per game (102.3), and fourth in Rush Yards Over Expected per Attempt (RYOE/ATT) (+1.55). He's matchup proof until proven otherwise and is relatively affordably priced at $5,900.
