Understanding the NFL's Injury Report
(per Dr. Bramel - Footballguys OG)
"The injury report released by the NFL is [made up of] two reports. The first is the Practice Participation report, which lists which injured players practiced and their participation level. It also includes players who rested or missed practice for non-injury-related reasons. The second is the Game Status Report, which gives the probability a player will play, i.e., Questionable, Doubtful, Out. The Practice Participation Report is released every day of the week (Monday through Saturday). The Game Status Report is released with the Friday participation report (Wednesday for Thursday games, Saturday for Monday games). In this feature, I'll include the Game Status Listing and my expectations of their likelihood of playing."
If you are reading this article on Saturday, make sure to come back on Sunday morning as more updates trickle in within the next 24 hours.

Sunday 1:00 PM EST Games
WR Drake London, Atlanta | Back | Questionable | Projecting Active
Drake London is technically dealing with two issues this week. He opened the week limited with an illness, and a back designation was added on Friday. Despite that, London still practiced, albeit in a limited capacity.
London's participation does suggest the back injury isn’t overly restrictive, but it is unclear whether the back issue has lingered all week or emerged late. There is optimism out of Atlanta that London will be available for Week 11. Given that significant back injuries tend to limit players more noticeably, the fact that he practiced at all bodes well for his chances to suit up.
WR Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville | High Ankle Sprain | Questionable | Projecting Inactive
Brian Thomas Jr. logged three straight practices this week after missing Week 10 with a high-ankle sprain. The Jaguars are leaving the door open for him to play Sunday, but given the nature of the injury, it’s more likely he sits.
Thomas' participation throughout the week is an encouraging sign for a potential return in Week 12 if he’s ultimately held out Sunday.
WR Quentin Johnston, LA Chargers | Shin | Questionable | Projecting Active
Quentin Johnston was limited all week with an uncommon injury designation — shin. This injury surfaced during Johnston's Week 10 matchup against Pittsburgh. Despite the issue, it didn’t appear to hinder him, as he caught five of ten targets for 42 yards. I’m optimistic he suits up on Sunday.
