Understanding the NFL's Injury Report
(per Dr. Bramel - Footballguys OG)
"The injury report released by the NFL is [made up of] two reports. The first is the Practice Participation report, which lists which injured players practiced and their participation level. It also includes players who rested or missed practice for non-injury-related reasons. The second is the Game Status Report, which gives the probability a player will play, i.e., Questionable, Doubtful, Out. The Practice Participation Report is released every day of the week (Monday through Saturday). The Game Status Report is released with the Friday participation report (Wednesday for Thursday games, Saturday for Monday games). In this feature, I'll include the Game Status Listing and my expectations of their likelihood of playing."
If you are reading this article on Saturday, make sure to come back on Sunday morning as more updates trickle in within the next 24 hours.

* Key: Player, Team | Injury | Game Status Listing | Playing Expectation
Sunday 1:00 PM EST Games
WR Chris Olave, New Orleans | Back | Questionable | Expected Active
Chris Olave managers may be a bit concerned to see him limited for most of the week with a back injury, but this mirrors his Week 13 practice, where he ultimately played in that game. While a touchdown salvaged his fantasy output last week, Olave continues to operate as one of the most heavily targeted pass catchers in the NFL. As long as he’s active, his volume keeps him firmly in starting lineups.
QB Lamar Jackson, Baltimore | Ankle | Questionable | Will Play
Lamar Jackson was limited in practice this week with an ankle injury. Jackson has been hampered by various lower-body issues throughout the season, and it has noticeably impacted his fantasy production. While he remains one of the league’s premier game-breakers, these recurring injuries have lowered both his weekly ceiling and floor.
WR Parker Washington, Jacksonville | Hip | Questionable | Projecting Inactive
Parker Washington did not practice on Wednesday before logging two consecutive limited sessions to close the week. Washington will likely be a true game-time decision (or close to it). Based on his current progression, I have him projected to be inactive.
TE Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo | Hamstirng/Knee | Questionable | Projecting Inactive
Dalton Kincaid apparently picked up a knee injury while still dealing with his hamstring strain. Historically, Kincaid has tended to overshoot the average recovery timeline for similar soft-tissue injuries, often missing more time than expected. Now managing a pair of lower-body issues, Kincaid's chances of playing in Week 14 appear increasingly unlikely. Fantasy managers should prepare for his absence and adjust lineups accordingly.
