Understanding the NFL's Injury Report
(per Dr. Bramel - Footballguys OG)
"The injury report released by the NFL is [made up of] two reports. The first is the Practice Participation report, which lists which injured players practiced and their participation level. It also includes players who rested or missed practice for non-injury-related reasons. The second is the Game Status Report, which gives the probability a player will play, i.e., Questionable, Doubtful, Out. The Practice Participation Report is released every day of the week (Monday through Saturday). The Game Status Report is released with the Friday participation report (Wednesday for Thursday games, Saturday for Monday games). In this feature, I'll include the Game Status Listing and my expectations of their likelihood of playing."
If you are reading this article on Saturday, make sure to come back on Sunday morning as more updates trickle in within the next 24 hours.

* Key: Player, Team | Injury | Game Status Listing | Playing Expectation
Saturday 7:00 PM EST Game
TE George Kittle, San Francisco | Ankle | Questionable | Projected Active
After missing Week 17 with an ankle injury, George Kittle has indicated that he plans to play in Week 18. With the NFC 1-seed still on the line, I’m inclined to believe him. What Kittle looks like from a performance standpoint remains to be seen, but he should be active on Saturday.
Sunday 1:00 PM EST Games
TE Kyle Pitts Sr., Atlanta | Knee | Questionable | Projected Active
Kyle Pitts was limited throughout the week with a knee injury, but Falcons head coach Raheem Morris indicated that he expects Pitts, along with all Atlanta Falcons skill position players, to be active.
WR Drake London, Atlanta | Knee | Questionable | Projected Active
After a dreadful Week 17 fantasy performance, Drake London continues to pop up on Atlanta's injury report post-PCL sprain. Like Kyle Pitts Sr., London projects to be active in Week 18.
WR Dontayvion Wicks, Green Bay | Concussion | Questionable | Projected Inactive
Dontayvion Wicks has not cleared the concussion protocol, and as we head into Saturday, it’s increasingly unlikely he’ll be able to progress through the final return-to-play steps in time for Week 18. As a result, I have Wicks projected as out.
