Every week, the NFL delivers a remarkable range of stories. I like to use this spot to encapsulate that broad expanse here.

The Good: More, More, Moore!
According to WKBW's Jeff Russo, new Buffalo Bills wide receiver DJ Moore has not played a game with the team yet, but he is already scoring big points with fans.
Moore, who was acquired in a trade with the Bears this offseason, was recently shopping with his family at a local mall when he stopped into a T-shirt shop.
Once inside, he purchased every DJ Moore jersey T-shirt the store had in stock -- not for himself, but to give away. The 27 T-shirts totaled more than $1,200.
Moore told the store to give them away to fans for free.
The establishment put a special tag on each shirt, noting it was paid for by Moore.
Of course, this is a really good story.
You know what would make it even better?
How about Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense getting Moore back on track after the veteran saw his role reduced in Chicago's offense in 2025?
Though he started all 17 games, he finished with career lows in receptions (50) and yards (682).
Fortunately, the move to Buffalo reunites Moore with Joe Brady, who served as the wideout's offensive coordinator in Carolina from 2020 to 2021. In his first season under Brady, Moore had 1,193 receiving yards and a career-high 18.1 yards per catch.
With Moore, the Bills will now have a top-caliber receiving weapon for Allen -- a role the team has not had over the last couple of seasons.
Last year, Khalil Shakir led the club with 72 receptions and 719 yards receiving.
I'd like to believe Moore's generosity with fans is a first step towards karmic payback in the form of a very productive season.
That would be better.
