It is hard to believe the NFL regular season is already here, with Week 1 kicking off Thursday. If you are like me, you still have a few key drafts to finish in the coming days. I published my first full set of projections back in February, which means I have been forecasting this season for more than six months. A lot can change in that time, and six months is practically a decade in NFL terms. As draft season wraps up and we turn the page to Week 1, I want to share the players who changed my mind and why.

The Running Backs Who Changed My Mind (Sorted by Consensus ADP)
- Chase Brown (ADP: RB10) looks every bit like a legitimate fantasy RB1.
- Omarion Hampton (ADP: RB14) will get a real chance to be the workhorse.
- Ken Walker III (ADP: RB16) may be headed for a full-fledged committee with Zach Charbonnet.
- TreVeyon Henderson (ADP: RB18) has the profile of a potential league winner.
- D'Andre Swift (ADP: RB21) made it through the maelstrom intact.
- RJ Harvey (ADP: RB22) slots comfortably into the RB2 tier.
- Isiah Pacheco (ADP: RB23) should get another chance to handle bellcow duties.
- Aaron Jones Sr. (ADP: RB26) is firmly in a 1a/1b committee.
- Jaylen Warren (ADP: RB29) won’t give up touches to Kaleb Johnson without a fight.
- Joe Mixon (ADP: RB30) could be a disaster if you drafted too early.
- Travis Etienne Jr. (ADP: RB32) carries more uncertainty than expected, but remains compelling.
- Quinshon Judkins (ADP: RB37) isn’t an instant star, but he’s still a value.
- Jacory Croskey-Merritt (ADP: RB38) defied the odds for a seventh-rounder and will get a shot at stardom.
