It's hard to believe that the NFL regular season is here, but Week 1 gets underway on Thursday. If you're like me, you still have several key drafts to complete in the next few days. This year, I published my first set of full projections at the end of February, which means I've been forecasting this season for over six months. Much can change in six months; that's like a decade in NFL parlance. So, as we finish up draft season and get ready for Week One, I wanted to share with you the players who have changed my mind and why.

The Wide Receivers Who Changed My Mind (Sorted by Consensus ADP)

  • Puka Nacua and Davante Adams (ADPs: WR7 and WR18) should be viewed as equals, despite the ADP disparity.
  • A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith (ADPs: WR10 and WR24) are still great, but both could be mild disappointments at ADP.
  • Tee Higgins (ADP: WR12) is a fantasy WR2, priced as a WR1.
  • Tetairoa McMillan (ADP: WR25) has a clear path to a dominant rookie season.
  • George Pickens (ADP: WR27) has a new lease on life, but was over-drafted because of it.
  • Rashee Rice (ADP: WR28) will miss six games, making him hard to love in standard-sized leagues.
  • Zay Flowers (ADP: WR30) is overrated for upside that probably isn’t realizable.
  • Travis Hunter (ADP: WR31) feels like a complementary asset priced as a must-start.
  • Jerry Jeudy (ADP: WR32) is the Browns alpha, but that might not mean much.
  • Chris Olave (ADP: WR34) will be the ultimate test of talent versus situation.
  • Ricky Pearsall (ADP: WR35) is high on the list of potential breakout stars.
  • Emeka Egbuka (ADP: WR36) is equally high on the list of potential breakout stars.
  • Deebo Samuel Sr. (ADP: WR37) is healthy and was a great value in drafts.
  • Jordan Addison, Jalen Nailor, and Adam Thielen (ADPs: WR40, WR99, and WR60) are all fades.
  • Matthew Golden (ADP: WR41) could be the least expensive alpha on draft boards this year.
  • Khalil Shakir (ADP: WR44) didn’t have the summer to justify my early enthusiasm.
