Two of my favorite things are Best Ball and DRAFTERS, and each week this offseason, I want to share with you my insights on both. With DRAFTERS releasing their main event tournament, excitement has been growing each day ever since. Each week, I want to break down what has changed from the previous week regarding NFL news, Best Ball news, and the top ADP Risers and Fallers on DRAFTERS. It's useful to compare Best Ball to the stock market and day trading stocks, but instead of stocks, we are examining NFL players, specifically their Average Draft Position (ADP). We continually strive to identify players of value in our drafts and avoid those who may be overvalued.
Each week, I will use updated DRAFTERS data to show the APD movement of the top risers and fallers on the site. ADP is often driven by the news that week and what some of the major touts in the industry might be saying about said players, and the result will be a shift in the ADP market
Let's look at last week's data (8/12-8/19) and find the top 10 Risers and Fallers for the past week:

Other names on the rise (11-20 ADP Risers): Isaiah Bond, Mason Taylor, Sean Tucker, Efton Chism III, Jalen Coker, Emanuel Wilson, Joshua Palmer, Isaac TeSlaa, TreVeyon Henderson, and Tyler Warren.
The Risers Takeaways: We have six running backs on the risers this week as depth charts and situations start to unfold, leading up to Week 1. Three of those are rookies in Quinshon Judkins, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, and Ollie Gordon II. Judkins is still unsigned by the Browns, but all charges against him in his legal case have been dropped. With the legal news alone, we saw his ADP take a big spike up as he has risen over four rounds of ADP. Croskey-Merritt will only increase leading up to Week 1 kickoff, as he flashed in his preseason game, and it also looks like the Commanders want to part ways with Brian Robinson Jr in front of him on the depth chart. Ollie Gordon II is showing a slight rise as he has displayed some flashes in camp, and also, Achane is somewhat dinged up in front of him.
We have seen both Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Devin Singletary, who previously had no ADP, now firmly in discussions for rounds 19 and 20. Braelon Allen continues to gain steam with positive news in camp, along with whispers of a shared backfield in New York to start the season. We have a strange riser at the quarterback spot with Jimmy Garoppolo, who is rising solely on the news that Matthew Stafford kept missing practices.
At wide receiver this week, we have a strange riser in Olamide Zaccheaus, who is up 15.9 spots, probably solely based on catching a touchdown pass in the preseason game. With the Bears' wide receiver and tight end room already crowded, I am not sure he is much of a pick even in 20-round drafts. Tory Horton is continuing to see some buzz out of Seattle as he looks to be locked in as a top-three receiver in the offense. Lastly, we have a continued rise up the board in Keenan Allen, as his competition behind him is dinged up, leading up to the kickoff of the season. Allen looks like the WR2 for the Chargers and should see plenty of targets.
