Two of my favorite things are Best Ball and DRAFTERS, and each week this offseason, I want to share with you my insights on both. With DRAFTERS releasing their main event tournament, excitement has been growing each day ever since. Each week, I want to break down what has changed from the previous week regarding NFL news, Best Ball news, and the top ADP Risers and Fallers on DRAFTERS. It's useful to compare Best Ball to the stock market and day trading stocks, but instead of stocks, we are examining NFL players, specifically their Average Draft Position (ADP). We continually strive to identify players of value in our drafts and avoid those who may be overvalued.
Each week, I will use updated DRAFTERS data to show the APD movement of the top risers and fallers on the site. ADP is often driven by the news that week and what some of the major touts in the industry might be saying about said players, and the result will be a shift in the ADP market
Let's look at last week's data (7/29-8/12) and find the top 10 Risers and Fallers for the past week:

The Risers Takeaways: We are seeing a rise in the running back position these past couple of weeks, with six players coming in out of the top 10. We have two rookies in Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Woody Marks, followed by Tank Bigsby, Keaton Mitchell, Braelon Allen, and Dameon Pierce. The Texans' situation appears to be more open with the uncertainty surrounding Joe Mixon's start to the season, making late picks like Marks and Pierce more sensible. There have been steady drumbeats for Bigsby, Allen, and Croskey-Merritt in camp as opportunities and talent look to be in place for all of them moving into the season.
The signing of Keenan Allen really skyrocketed his ADP over the last two weeks, as he jumped up in ADP over five rounds, and looks to be the number two option in a solid offense for the Chargers. Rookie Tory Horton had a strong showing in his first preseason game, and his ADP instantly rose up the board. Joshua Palmer is getting some love out of Bills camp, and with the team investing some solid money into him during the offseason, he looks to be a strong option in the Bills' passing offense. Anthony Richardson Sr. has been a mystery all offseason as his ADP has shifted back and forth ever since the team signed Daniel Jones. It often feels like Richardson's ADP fluctuates weekly, depending on whether we hear positive or negative news.
