These are my initial notes through Sunday in Week 5.

Arizona Cardinals

• Zach Allen shows up again 5-3-1 PD
• Zaven Collins 3-2 still can’t get it going, but Isaiah Simmons did 8-5

Atlanta Falcons

• Mykal Walker 7-4 before the groin injury. Troy Anderson 4-2 after it. Rashaan Evans 4-2
• Deion Jones shipped to Cleveland.
• Jaylinn Hawkins 8-3 had a big day, but Richie Grant 6-1 has been more consistent.
• Falcons have a problem at corner.

Baltimore Ravens

• ILB snaps Patrick Queen 5-2 int, Josh Bynes 4-2 1, Malik Harrison 3-1
• Marcus Williams 2-0 wrist injury

Buffalo Bills

• Jordan Poyer, Tremaine Edmunds inactive. Replaced by Jaquan Jones 2-6, and Terrel Bernard 3-3. The Steeler could not move the ball on the ground 16 carries for 44 yards
• Are Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips healthy and back in their normal roles?

Carolina Panthers

• Frankie Luvu and Xavier Woods both inactive. How did the Panthers adjust? Juston Burris 6-2 PD
• Damian Wilson 7-2-1 FF, Shaq Thompson 3-3, Cory Littleton 4-3. What’s going on here?
• Donte Jackson hamstring, and Jaycee Horn hip

Chicago Bears

• Jaylon Jones 9-4 FF, and Kyler Gordon 8-2

Cincinnati Bengals

• Logan Wilson 9-0, Jermaine Pratt 2-7-1 2PD
• Bengals still can’t get a pass rush going.
• Vonn Bell 5-2 int, Jessie Bates 5-1

Cleveland Browns

• Browns trade for Deion Jones
• Jacob Phillips 7-3-1, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah 4-2
• Denzel Ward had a busy game before leaving with a concussion

Dallas Cowboys

• Donovan Wilson 4-2, Jayron Kearse 3-1, Malik Hooker 1-1 int safety snaps?
• Why is Leighton Vander Esch falling off 3-2. Anthony Barr 4-2 snaps

Denver Broncos

• Baron Browning gets into the sack column before wrist injury.
• Ronald Darby knee
• Josey Jewell week-to-week with knee injury, Alex Singleton is back in the lineup for a while.

Detroit Lions

• DeShon Elliiot 10-2 with a pick, stepping up big after Walker injury

Green Bay Packers

• Nothing notable

Houston Texans

• Mario Adams activated, Jonathan Greenard inactive
• Garrett Wallow 3-1 PD, Neville Hewitt 3-1, Christian Kirksey 4-3, Jalen Reeves-Maybin 1-2. Anything we need to know?
• Kamu Grugier-Hill 3-1 looking like Week 1 was a fluke.

Indianapolis Colts

• Kwity Paye carted off. Dayo Odenigbo 1-3-.5 may be a starter now.
• Looks like DeForest Buckner is healthy now 4-4-2 and a PD

• Rayshawn Jenkins 7-5 but don’t get excited

• Jordan Fuller to IR with hamstring. Taylor Rapp inactive with sore ribs. Terrell Burgess 6-2, Nick Scott 0-1 what is the deal here?
• Jalen Ramsey 2-0-1 FF is not the same without Troy Hill on the field

Miami Dolphins

• Brandon Jones may have missed snaps in Week 4 because he was hurt. 5-4-1 in Week 5, while Eric Rowe does not show up on the stat sheet. Confirm snap counts

Minnesota Vikings

• Cameron Dantzler has at least five combined tackles in every game with at least five solos in four of them.
• Where did Harrison Smith 1-1PD go? Did the sore groin flair up?

New England Patriots

• Jack Jones with another pick. Jonathan Jones ankle left early
• Kyle Dugger back in full-time role? 1-4 FR/TD
• Matt Judon is the only player in the league with a sack in all five games so far.
• 22 defenders showed up in the box score. None had more than 4 solo stops or five combined.

New Orleans Saints

• Adebo Paulson with another solid game 6-2 PD, but Marshon Lattimore leaves with abdominal injury
• Marcus Maye inactive again
• Pete Werner 5-2 FF, has outproduced Demario Davis 2-2-0.5, in four of five games.

New York Giants

• Jaylon Smith 2-4 and Tony Jefferson 3-1 both seeing time. At whose expense? Tae Crowder 2-1, Micah McFadden 2-1
• Adoree Jackson knee

New York Jets

• Kwon Alexander 6-4 confirm snap count
• Jermaine Johnson ankle, more Michael Clemons for a while?

Philadelphia Eagles

• Chauncey Gardner-Johnson finally made some noise 10-0 int

Pittsburgh Steelers

• Steelers hammered with injuries in the secondary. Terrell Edmunds concussion, and Ahkello Witherspoon hamstring, were inactive. Cameron Sutton left with a hamstring, and Levi Wallace left with a concussion.
• Larry Ogunjobi left with a back injury.
• Devin Bush 3-1, Myles Jack 4-2. Buffalo made little effort to run the ball. Eleven carries by running backs.

Seattle Seahawks

• Cody Barton bounced back 7-5 snaps.
• Josh Jones 1-0 benched? Ryan Neal 2-6 PD

• Fred Warner had a big game 7-2-1 PD
