New York, Team Mood

  • Good - 2
  • Neutral - 8
  • Bad - 6

Staffers in a Good Mood

  • Phil Alexander: The offense has nowhere to go but up with Brian Daboll at the helm and a healthy group of skill players.
  • Clayton Gray: What's not to like about a better scheme, a better offensive line, and healthier skill position players?

Staffers in a Neutral Mood

  • Dan Hindery: Very wide range of outcomes with some talented pieces but a lot of question marks.
  • Dave Kluge: There are a lot of pieces on this offense but they might not fit together. Jones could take a step forward, but it's more likely that he's already shown us who he is.
  • Sigmund Bloom: But Good++ compared to last year. Anything is better than last year and the whole organization should feel a weight lifted.
  • Jeff Haseley: They have potential with Brian Daboll's offense but it all lies on Daniel Jones. The success of the offense hinges on Jones. So goes Jones, so goes the offense.
  • Jeff Bell: On paper, this offense has pieces, an elite running back, depth through the wide receiver corps, Evan Neal at tackle, and an innovator in Brian Daboll.
  • Christian Williams: It is fair to be cautiously optimistic for the offense, but everything falls on Daniel Jones to take another step forward.
  • Ben Cummins: Daniel Jones is reportedly healthy and Saquon Barkley is stating he’s more confident in his health. Brian Daboll makes this offense intriguing.
  • Jordan McNamara: New head coach Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen deserve lenience.

Staffers in a Bad Mood

  • Jason Wood: Brian Daboll has a long history of underwhelming play-calling before he got to coach Josh Allen. He's no miracle worker.
  • Sam Wagman: But there is room for hope with the coaching and front office additions.
  • Andy Hicks: There has been way too much turnover and poor hiring decisions. The best way to destroy a young quarterback is to fill his head with new ideas every offseason.
  • Ryan Weisse: Too much turnover but not at quarterback, where they need it most.
  • James Brimacombe: Maybe between bad and neutral. I like the idea of Daniel Jones and a healthy Saquon Barkley and Kenny Golladay. Just doesn't feel like it will happen.
  • Craig Lakins: There is a reason for optimism with Brian Daboll's arrival, but I need to see it to believe that there will be added fantasy value here.
