Staffers in a Bad Mood

  • Phil Alexander: Mega-bad. Geno Smith and Drew Lock make up the league's most uninspiring quarterback depth chart.
  • Kevin Coleman: If Seattle plans on heading into the 2022 season with Geno Smith and Drew Lock fighting for QB1, it will be a long season for this offense.
  • Jeff Haseley: Ask Carolina how important a good quarterback is to their offense. I don't see the talent rising above to keep the offense afloat. This seems like a down season for Seattle.
  • Christian Williams: The pieces they added to the offensive line are intriguing, but an upgrade at quarterback is necessary.
  • Jason Wood: An aging roster and departed superstar create a litany of questions.
  • Andy Hicks: The answer to replace Russell Wilson is not Drew Lock or Geno Smith
  • Ryan Weisse: This offense was low-volume and boring with Russell Wilson. Now we're dealing with Drew Lock and Geno Smith. Bad may not be strong enough.
  • Ben Cummins: Without Russell Wilson, the Seahawks will field one of the worst offenses in the NFL this season.
  • Jeff Bell: Coaching philosophy that took the ball out of Russell Wilson’s hands meets Geno Smith or Drew Lock.
  • Zareh Kantzabedian: 2022 will essentially be a repeat of last year. Inefficient offense with the inability to consistently sustain scoring drives.
  • Dave Kluge: But a trade for Baker Mayfield or Jimmy Garoppolo could quickly change the mood.
  • James Brimacombe: Not sure you can make a different selection for this team with the current quarterback situation.
  • Craig Lakins: This is a team in need of a full rebuild, but it's unclear if they know that.
