This week's Beyond the Stats takes a look at which players are performing well on a consistent basis. Stats don't tell the whole story, but they can definitely paint a picture and provide some clarity on which players are successful and how they compare to other players at the same position. For example, take a look at the NY Jets running backs. Bilal Powell has four games of at least five receptions while Matt Forte has only one. Going further, Kirk Cousins has six 300-yard games, while Eli Manning has three. Not only does that tell us how well Cousins is playing, but it also illustrates how Manning is having a pedestrian season compared to the lofty expectations that some predicted back in August.
