NY Jets at New England

  • Justin Fields was serviceable for fantasy, but head coach Aaron Glenn decided he had seen enough and benched him for Tyrod Taylor after the game.
  • Breece Hall was quiet for fantasy, but the Patriots' run defense is good. He's going to remain a boom/bust play, but hopefully Taylor will give him more consistent targets in the passing game.
  • Drake Maye's production was modest because TreVeyon Henderson scored twice on the ground, and the Patriots didn't need to take chances to win this game. Maye is still a strong QB1 play against Cincinnati.
  • Mack Hollins was a decent WR3/Flex play in PPR leagues and will be worth at least a pickup and what-the-heck flex start against Cincinnati even if Kayshon Boutte is active.
  • Henderson also scored as a receiver and has made a resounding case to be the lead back even after Rhamondre Stevenson returns. If that's Week 12, we'll get a better idea of the backfield split going forward, but failing any specific guidance from the team, consider Henderson a high ceiling RB2 and Stevenson a flex play if Stevenson returns this week.

Washington vs Miami - Madrid

  • Chris Rodriguez Jr. was the lead back and ran like he deserves to be the lead back after the bye. He's worth carrying on your bench in deeper leagues with the hope that the running game will really come alive when Jayden Daniels returns. Jacory Croskey-Merritt can be dropped during the bye.
  • Deebo Samuel Sr. had a strong game as Marcus Mariota's top target, scoring and catching seven balls. You should feel better about him as a WR3/Flex option after the bye.
  • The Dolphins ran 31 times compared to 20 passes. Jaylen Waddle caught only three of Tua Tagovailoa's 14 completions, which is very disappointing in a matchup against a very generous pass defense. Waddle has a lower floor than we thought when the Dolphins are competitive.
  • De'Von Achane was outstanding again, but was seen getting work on a back injury on the sidelines. We'll monitor this after the team's bye.

Green Bay at NY Giants

  • Josh Jacobs left this game with a knee injury, but there was no structural damage. He could suit up against the Vikings in Week 12. Emanuel Wilson was competent in his place and will be a high-floor RB2 if Jacobs is out in Week 12.
  • Jordan Love left for a drive with a non-throwing shoulder injury, but returned to make multiple big downfield throws to hang with Jameis Winston and secure the win on the road in the fourth quarter. He has been inconsistent for fantasy, but could at least support the value of one or two of his targets, especially with Jayden Reed returning soon.
  • Christian Watson caught two scores, including a long ball over double coverage to account for the go-ahead touchdown. With Love throwing more confidently and Watson rounding into form coming back from an ACL tear, he should be considered a high ceiling WR3/Flex going forward.
  • Romeo Doubs was disappointing because of a few drops that might have been due to a chest injury that he had to have worked on during the game. With Reed due back soon, Doubs isn't an essential hold in short bench leagues.
  • Jameis Winston infused the Giants' offense with energy and posted a solid fantasy game in addition to supporting the value of the offense to produce three touchdowns. If Jaxson Dart misses more time, the Giants' offense is in good hands.
  • Tyrone Tracy Jr. is running with a new level of power and determination. He should be rostered as a what-the-heck flex in good matchups, but Devin Singletary is the clear goal-line back. He scored twice to put up good what-the-heck RB2/Flex numbers from the waiver wire, and had a shot at a third. He should be added to the end of your bench as emergency depth if you can spare the spot. Singletary has a good chance to remain the goal-line back after Dart returns to save the quarterback from more potential head injuries.
  • Isaiah Hodgins rejoined the team last week after they poached him from the Steelers' practice squad and immediately went into the starting lineup. If Darius Slayton misses more time, Hodgins has some value in very deep PPR leagues.

Houston at Tennessee

  • Davis Mills wasn't as good as he was overcoming a 19-point fourth quarter deficit in Week 10, but he was good enough to get a road win in the division and make Nico Collins a good play. Mills is a viable QB2/Superflex against Buffalo on Thursday as C.J. Stroud will sit again with a concussion.
  • Woody Marks was the clear lead back and even got goal-line carries on two different drives, but wasn't able to turn that opportunity into a big fantasy game like he did against Tennessee earlier in the season. He's best suited to be a flex play against the Bills.
  • Calvin Ridley left with a broken fibula on his first play back from a hamstring injury. He can be dropped in redraft leagues. There's no clear pickup to replace his impact, with both Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor getting banged up in this game.

Carolina at Atlanta

  • Bryce Young had quite the rollercoaster ride in this game, leaving in the first half after taking a big hit on a safety blitz, but returning to lead scoring drives before and after halftime, and overcoming multiple fourth-down stops deep in Atlanta territory to lead a comeback win in overtime. He also threw for 448 yards and three scores. Young could have matchup QB2/Superflex, or maybe even streaming QB1, value if he gets hot like he did in the final third of 2024.
  • Rico Dowdle was contained in the running game, but had one of the biggest plays of the game as a receiver. His value is up with Young's possible resurgence.
  • Young bounced back in part because he fed Tetairoa McMillan with targets all over the field, which spurred McMillan to the biggest game of his career. McMillan could be graduating to every week fantasy WR1 status if Young keeps this up.
  • Xavier Legette had multiple big plays and also has more waiver wire appeal with Young playing well, but he also left the game late with a hip injury. He said he is going to play through the injury, so he's worth an add if benches are long enough, along with Jalen Coker, who made some big catches, including a late two-point conversion. If Young is really back, then his secondary receivers could have value against a favorable remaining schedule.
  • The Falcons' running game was strong early, and the backfield accounted for three scores in the first half, including two from Bijan Robinson, who was the clear lead back, including in the red zone after ceding that work to Tyler Allgeier in Week 10. Unfortunately, Michael Penix Jr. went down for the season with a knee injury and Drake London is out for at least a week with a knee injury of his own. We have to reduce expectations for Robinson and Allgeier is no longer an essential hold.
  • Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts Sr. will get more targets with London out in Week 12 (and possibly longer), but Cousins was so inefficient in his first game that only Pitts had value, and only on nine catches for 59 yards. This is going to be a bottom-quarter-of-the-league offense for the rest of the season.

Chicago at Minnesota

  • The Bears' offense was balanced, and Caleb Williams was inefficient against a good Vikings defense. He also targeted six players at least three times each. It is going to be difficult to count on any Bears passcatcher (or Williams in 1QB leagues) down the stretch.
  • D'Andre Swift was the clear lead back, but Kyle Monangai got the touchdown with hard running through contact that should keep him a thorn in the side of Swift's fantasy teams.
  • Luther Burden III passed Olamide Zaccheaus to become the #3 receiver. He's worth an add in deep leagues with the hope that Williams starts targeting him more to get his playmaking ability front and center in the offense.
  • Colston Loveland looked great on his targets, but two other tight ends also got at least three targets. He's not an essential hold.
  • J.J. McCarthy was inconsistent again, and this time Justin Jefferson showed his frustration on the sidelines, which mirrors the frustration of his fantasy teams. We should adjust expectations for Jefferson down to a high-floor WR2/WR3, and Jordan Addison is a what-the-heck flex at best after catching a touchdown, but only one other pass on the afternoon. McCarthy has two rough road games up at Green Bay and Seattle. We'll see if he can make it through them without getting benched for his own good. McCarthy isn't an essential hold in 1QB leagues, but will face a favorable schedule from Weeks 14-17 if he is still starting.
  • Aaron Jones Sr. was still the clear lead back. But Jordan Mason scored, and his strong running in the second half helped jumpstart the offense just like it did in their comeback win over the Bears in Week 1. Mason is still worth holding in deeper leagues because of the Jones injury upside and the chance that this becomes a committee with Mason's power running emphasized to help McCarthy keep the offense on schedule.
