Wednesday Media Updates
***Derrick Henry managed another full workload despite a lingering hamstring strain that prevented him from practicing last week. Back to a limited practice on Wednesday, Henry is expected to see heavy usage again this week.
***Josh Jacobs will not play this week. The Raiders haven't moved Jacobs to injured reserve but he should be considered doubtful for Week 17.
***Players moved to injured reserve on Wednesday: Mike Evans, Evan Engram, Matthew Stafford.
***Dak Prescott injured his throwing shoulder last week and was not comfortable throwing. Limited in practice on Wednesday, Prescott is currently expected to play. If his shoulder does not improve through Friday, his throwing may be limited again this week.
***D.J. Chark returned to limited practice and has been cleared for light running and cutting. If his ankle responds well to individual drills, Chark will return this week. Continue to consider him questionable.
***The Steelers are again evaluating JuJu Smith-Schuster midweek to see how his knee responds to activity. Last week, Smith-Schuster was shut down after Wednesday's practice but Pittsburgh remains optimistic he'll be able to play.
SATURDAY INJURY NOTES / EARLY PROJECTIONS
***Julian Edelman is dealing with patellar tendinitis and continues to be limited in practice. The Patriots limited his snaps for the first time this season, though it's likely the blowout win over Cincinnati played a role in their decision-making. Edelman is expected to play.
***The Buccaneers moved Mike Evans and Scotty Miller to injured reserve on Wednesday. Chris Godwin remains on the active roster but will not play Saturday.
***Will Fuller remains limited in practice. He was targeted seven times on 59 snaps last week after resting in Week 14. He is expected to play.
***Gerald Everett was limited on Tuesday and returned to a full practice on Wednesday. Sean McVay would not commit to Everett playing on Wednesday, telling reporters the team was still evaluating his health and possible role in the offensive game plan. His status may affect Tyler Higbee's targets. Thursday Update: Everett fully practiced again and is not listed on the game status report.
Early week practice participation and playing expectations
The Wednesday and Thursday practice participation reports are our first chance to see which players each NFL team is limiting in practice after the previous week's games. Players limited in mid-week practice aren't necessarily in danger of missing that week's game. But they all need to be watched closely.
