- New Look Raiders - Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly take over an offense that now features Geno Smith at quarterback and rookie running back Ashton Jeanty.
- Scheme Changes for Chicago and Jacksonville - After great fantasy seasons from Detroit and Tampa Bay, offensive coordinators Ben Johnson and Liam Coen will take over the Bears and Jaguars.
- Replacing Matthew Stafford's Best Friend - The Rams moved on from Cooper Kupp, but Davante Adams will fill that role in the 2025 season.
- The Steelers Get Their Guys - Aaron Rodgers will lead this team at quarterback, and will have DK Metcalf at his disposal after a trade with Seattle.
- An Upgraded RB Room for the Chargers - While J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards played well, Harbaugh and Roman upgraded the running back spot, adding Najee Harris and rookie Omarion Hampton.
2025 Offseason Fantasy Football News
Arizona Cardinals (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- There are no significant changes to report for Arizona. The Cardinals will run the same scheme and return all 2024 players to their roles.
- With RB James Conner a year older, there is hope that RB Trey Benson will see more than the 69 touches he registered as a rookie.
- All reports say Marvin Harrison Jr. is looking more comfortable and in better shape than in his rookie year, so there is hope for a Year 2 breakout. Check out Dave Kluge's article for other early camp reports.
Atlanta Falcons (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- While both 2024 quarterbacks return, their roles have reversed. Michael Penix Jr. will kick off the year as the starter.
- Kirk Cousins remains with the team, though various reports suggest he is unhappy with the situation. The team could trade him if the right deal presents itself.
- WR Darnell Mooney is dealing with a shoulder injury, so the team recently signed D.J. Chark Jr.
Baltimore Ravens (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- The Ravens didn't change much, but DeAndre Hopkins will take over as the team's third wideout, replacing Nelson Agholor.
Buffalo Bills (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- The team let WR Amari Cooper go after a disastrous eight-game run last season.
- To bolster the receiving corps, Buffalo added Joshua Palmer and Elijah Moore. They will compete with Keon Coleman and Curtis Samuel for targets behind Khalil Shakir.
Carolina Panthers (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- After just three games last year, RB Jonathon Brooks re-injured his knee and will miss the 2025 season.
- To back up RB Chuba Hubbard, the team signed Rico Dowdle from the Cowboys. Dowdle will replace Miles Sanders, who signed with Dallas.
- The Panthers spent a first-round pick on WR Tetairoa McMillan. McMillan brings a size-speed combo that the team was missing.
Chicago Bears (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- The most significant change in Chicago will be the offensive scheme. After a subpar 2024, the team fired the coaching staff and brought in Ben Johnson, formerly the offensive coordinator in Detroit.
- Johnson will call the offensive plays as the head coach, and he should provide a boost to QB Caleb Williams.
- WR Keenan Allen left the team as a free agent and, as of this writing, is still unsigned. The Bears spent a second-round pick on Luther Burden III to replace Allen.
- In the first round of the draft, Chicago added Colston Loveland as the first tight end off the board. He will compete with Cole Kmet, but the draft capital suggests Loveland will have a significant role.
Cincinnati Bengals (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- The Bengals brought back RB Samaje Perine. He will compete with late-round pick Tahj Brooks to back up Chase Brown after the team released Zack Moss.
- Cincinnati recently added TE Noah Fant. He will likely play an in-line role with Mike Gesicki lining up in the slot.
Cleveland Browns (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- With QB Deshaun Watson still recovering from an Achilles injury, Cleveland has four new quarterbacks on the roster. Veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett will compete with rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
- Only three are likely to make the roster, and the competition is wide open heading into camp. This situation is one to monitor in our annual Preseason Reports.
- Fan-favorite RB Nick Chubb left in free agency, signing with the Houston Texans. To replace him, the Browns used a second-round pick on Quinshon Judkins and a fourth-rounder on Dylan Sampson.
- Judkins is facing some legal trouble from an incident in early July. As of this writing, there has been no movement outside of his arrest.
- With Elijah Moore now in Buffalo, Cleveland brought in Diontae Johnson as their third receiver.
- At tight end, David Njoku is still the starter, but the team spent a third-round pick on Harold Fannin Jr..
Dallas Cowboys (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- The changes in Dallas start at the top; Mike McCarthy is gone, and offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer will be the new head coach.
- Schottenheimer did not call plays in 2024, so the offense could look different this season.
- Last year's starting running back, Rico Dowdle, signed with the Carolina Panthers. The team added four backs to vie for Dowdle's carries. In free agency, they signed Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders, and picked Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah in the draft.
- Williams is the presumed starter heading into camp.
- WR Brandin Cooks left in free agency after a couple of disappointing seasons. He signed with the Saints.
- The team traded for WR George Pickens from the Steelers to play opposite CeeDee Lamb.
Denver Broncos (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- RB Javonte Williams is gone after signing with Dallas in free agency.
- To replace Williams, the team spent a second-round pick on RJ Harvey and signed J.K. Dobbins in free agency. The two should split the bulk of the work, but early reports have Dobbins in the lead role.
- The Broncos traded for TE Evan Engram from Jacksonville in hopes of revitalizing the position in Sean Payton's offense.
Detroit Lions (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- Even with every fantasy-relevant player returning from last year, the Detroit offense may look different in 2025, as offensive coordinator Ben Johnson left for the Chicago head coach job.
- John Morton, who spent the last two seasons with Sean Payton in Denver, will be the new offensive coordinator.
Green Bay Packers (Footballguys Full Team Projections)
- While not necessarily a change, the team gets RB Marshawn Lloyd back after an ankle injury ended his rookie season. He will compete for touches behind Josh Jacobs.
- In the draft, the Packers added WR Matthew Golden in the first round, their most significant investment in the position in many years.
