Green Bay at Detroit

  • Jordan Love was outstanding, throwing downfield to Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks, and posted a strong fantasy stat line. He might still be subject to volatility, with the Packers playing their next four games in cold weather and their tendency to be conservative when they can build a lead.
  • Watson looks like he has regained prime form as a deep threat and should be in lineups every week as a WR3/Flex.
  • Wicks made multiple high difficulty plays, but didn't see a bump in snaps above the 50% threshold. He's only worth a pickup in deeper leagues as a bench stash to see if this is the beginning of a trend.
  • Josh Jacobs was back and looked like his normal self. He is a strong RB2 play against the Bears, but don't drop Emanuel Wilson even though he was only in on 12 snaps. Jacobs has been on the injury report a lot this season.
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown left with an ankle injury that will probably sideline him for at least Week 14 on Thursday against Dallas. Jameson Williams was the #1 receiver in his absence and came through for fantasy teams that trusted him. He's a top 10 play against Dallas.
  • Isaac TeSlaa and Tom Kennedy picked up the slack in wide receiver snaps. TeSlaa scored, and he can make big plays downfield. Kennedy was the short-range possession option. Both are viable pickups and what-the-heck flex plays because of the matchup against Dallas.
  • David Montgomery scored for the first time in a month and still deserves what-the-heck flex consideration for Week 14 in what should be a high-scoring game.

Kansas City at Dallas

  • Patrick Mahomes II produced the expected ceiling game against Dallas, but was outdueled by Dak Prescott. The Chiefs can't afford to lose again if they want to make the playoffs. Mahomes is still a start in Week 14 against Houston, but the Texans' strong defense introduces some bust possibility.
  • Kareem Hunt remained the lead back, even with Isiah Pacheco back, and got all of the red-zone opportunities. He's still worth carrying as emergency depth during the fantasy playoffs.
  • Rashee Rice was a week winner and looks set to post elite WR1 numbers in the fantasy playoffs after this week's tough game with the Texans.
  • Xavier Worthy was a solid producer, but didn't have the expected ceiling game against Dallas's suspect secondary. He's only bench depth for the fantasy playoffs.
  • Dak Prescott was magnificent again and should be kept in lineups as a high-ceiling QB1 against Detroit.
  • Malik Davis broke a 40+ yard touchdown run to help swing the game for Dallas and should be carried in all but short bench leagues.
  • CeeDee Lamb bounced back from his Week 12 drops to post the kind of elite WR1 stat line we have been waiting for. George Pickens was still a good WR2 in PPR leagues, but we should expect these two to trade off big games going forward.

Cincinnati at Baltimore

  • Joe Burrow had a good but not great fantasy game in his return against a team he dominated last year. Don't despair, as the Bengals settled for six field goals and moved the ball all night, even though Tee Higgins was out. Burrow is a strong QB1 just in time for the fantasy playoffs.
  • Chase Brown was a very good PPR play and went over 100 total yards. He remained a borderline fantasy RB1 even with the return of Samaje Perine, who played a big role and touched the ball 16 times, including four red zone opportunities. Perine is worth picking up as a what-the-heck flex with Brown injury upside.
  • Mike Gesicki disappointed as Burrow spread the ball around to four different tight ends instead of focusing on Gesicki as he did at times when a top wide receiver was out last year. Gesicki can be dropped if you added him as a Week 13 streamer with the hope of using him going forward.
  • Lamar Jackson had a few bad breaks early, as a long touchdown to Zay Flowers was taken away by a questionable penalty call and Isaiah Likely fumbled the ball away at the end of what should have been a long touchdown. Then Jackson's play deteriorated against a defense that was one of the worst in the league coming into Week 14. He looks like he's not 100% either mentally, physically, or both, and the Steelers have given him trouble in the past. Put him on your bench and hope he goes off so you can trust him in the Week 15 rematch with the Bengals.
  • Derrick Henry scored and had over 100 total yards, but didn't have enough opportunity to post a ceiling game in a very good matchup. He's still an upside RB2 play against Pittsburgh, but the Ravens don't have the look of an offense that will produce overachievers in the fantasy playoffs.
  • Keaton Mitchell touched the ball four times on eight snaps and created 31 total yards plus a touchdown. The Ravens didn't increase his role even with Justice Hill on injured reserve, but they might want to rethink that. He's worth a speculative pickup in deeper leagues.
  • Flowers would have been a decent play if the touchdown had held up, but instead, he was a bust on a rough night for the Ravens. He's not an automatic WR3/Flex play against Pittsburgh.
  • The Bengals continue to be a money matchup for opposing tight ends, with Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely combining for 142 yards on nine receptions. Likely broke away for what should have been a touchdown, but he was caught at the goal line and fumbled for a touchback. Likely is a good pickup in deeper leagues if you need tight end help and possible George Kittle bye coverage against Pittsburgh in Week 14.

Chicago at Philadelphia

  • The Bears' running game found its ideal form as both D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai went over 100 yards and scored. Monangai is still the preferred goal-line back, with four opportunities to Swift's one, so he's probably the better play of the two against Green Bay. This could be the start of an important trend in time for the fantasy playoffs.
  • Caleb Williams continues to be inconsistent in an offense that fed between three and six targets to six different players. No one in this pass offense is worth trusting over the next three weeks at Green Bay and against Cleveland and Green Bay again in Week 16. Week 17 at San Francisco does have some fantasy promise, but players like Williams, Rome Odunze, and DJ Moore aren't essential holds.
  • Saquon Barkley failed to make a big impact against a defense that was missing all of its starting linebackers. This Eagles offense is so difficult to project week to week because of suspect playcalling, but we have to leave Barkley in our lineups against the Chargers anyway.
  • A.J. Brown had a massive game, but DeVonta Smith only posted 5-48 in a game in which the Eagles passed twice as much as they ran. Brown can't be put on the bench against the Chargers, but Smith isn't an automatic play in leagues with only two starting wide receivers and a flex. Hurts is still a high-ceiling QB1.
  • Dallas Goedert has only caught two passes in each of the last three games and hasn't gotten more than five targets. He's not an essential hold.
