Beyond the Stats: Week 7

Did You Know?

Not a good percentage, Joe - Joe Flacco is currently throwing a touchdown pass once every 53 pass attempts Compare to Matt Ryan who throws a touchdown once every 14 attempts. 

Something is off here - Brian Hoyer is the only quarterback with a QB rating over 100 with a losing record. (100.8), 1-3 record.

Surprising stat - Julio Jones has 31 receptions this season. Only 3 of those came on third or fourth down.

Playing worse at home - Andy Dalton is averaging 24 FP/game on the road and 15 FP/game at home. The Bengals host the Browns this week.  

Can he keep this up?  Tevin Coleman is averaging an astounding 17.8 yards per catch on 18 catches. That's amazing for a running back. 

Kenny or Won't he? Kenny Britt has more PPR fantasy points than DeAndre Hopkins or Brandon Marshall. 

In what universe?  Jack Doyle has more PPR fantasy points than Julian Edelman

Come back soon Big Ben - Ben Roethlisberger is throwing a touchdown pass once every 105 yards passing. 

Failing Fitzpatrick - Every 20 pass attempts, Ryan Fitzpatrick throws an interception. 

Breakout coming? Jalen Richard is averaging 6.3 YPC in 29 carries - the most of any running back with at least 20 carries. 

PPR - think youthful - No running back age 29 or higher has more than 16 receptions.

Quarterback (minimum 10 pass attempts)

 What does this mean? When Matt Ryan has a game with at least 10 pass attempts, his average weekly fantasy rank is 7.3 

Running Back (minimum 6 FP in a game)

When David Johnson has at least 6 standard Fantasy Points (FP) in a game, his average weekly fantasy rank is 7.3. Note Cameron Artis-Payne at the top of the list. He had one game with at least 6 FPs, where he finished 5th among running back rankings. I was limited on the amount of data that I could retrieve, hence the need for minimum ranges.
