PS. Can I get real for a second? If you've read this newsletter for very long, you know I'm about more than just football. My thought for y'all today is this:
Don't take things for granted.
Nothing needed at all, and we're ok here, but bad news in that my brother-in-law died Thursday in a car accident.
Even more heartbreaking is they have 4 kids under 6 years old, including a pair of one-year-old twins
I don't know how in the world you tell a 6-year-old that their Dad died.
Hug your loved ones.

Fresh Pickens In Dallas
β
The Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to a trade Wednesday that will send Pickens to Dallas for a 2026 third-round pick. The Cowboys will also send a 2027 fifth-round pick to the Steelers and get back a 2026 sixth-round pick.
β
Lamb will continue to dominate the targets in Dallas, but Pickens will get an upgrade with Dak Prescott at quarterback. Pickens should be viewed as a WR3 with upside in his new home.

Perceptions, Misperceptions, And Realities
The 2025 free-agent signing period started with a bang. You'll find a full accounting of it here at Footballguys on our real-time Player Movement Tracker. We also add articles and analyses on the most fantasy-relevant moves as they go down.
While it's not over, we've seen enough movement to assess the fallout.
That means picking winners and losers.
I know. Everyone does it, but not everyone does it well. In fact, few do it as well as Footballguy Sigmund Bloom, who offers his take here.
Fortunately, we don't all pick the same winners and losers. And don't have to follow the usual conventions when we do it.
Remember, perceptions -- and misperceptions -- become reality quickly in the best-ball rooms and social media silos we hang out in this time of year. In addition, we tend to focus on the narrowest band of outcomes.
But the fantasy fallout always extends beyond the players moving. That being the case, the focus here will be as much on collateral issues as the players getting all the cash and most of the attention.
Let's dive in . . .
Perception: Adams Cuts Into Puka's Workload
βDavante Adams, who left a Jets team going nowhere and got everything he wanted when the Rams signed him, is a winner.
Adams wanted to play on the West Coast, and that box was checked. He wanted to make $20 million a year. He got it. As a bonus, Adams wound up in an offense with a star quarterback in Matthew Stafford, an innovative play-caller in head coach Sean McVay, and a Pro Bowl-caliber receiver on the other side of the offense in Puka Nacua.

Peace and Grace to you,
