Las Vegas at Denver

  • Geno Smith had his first bad fantasy game with a healthy Brock Bowers. Bowers only caught one pass, which was a bit shocking coming off his monster Week 9. We'll see if this is more about the inconsistency of this offense or the Broncos having a good game plan when the Raiders face the bottom-dwelling Dallas defense in Week 11.
  • Tyler Lockett filled the vacuum left by Jakobi Meyers being sent off to Jacksonville in a trade. That means outside of Bowers and Ashton Jeanty, there are no fantasy options of interest here.
  • Bo Nix and the Denver offense were equally lethargic against the Raiders, which was a massive letdown since the Raiders had been one of the best matchups for opposing quarterbacks all season. Nix will be hard to trust in lineups until he puts together two good games.
  • Troy Franklin was the one player in this game to exceed expectations. He led the team in targets and catches and even scored. Franklin has graduated to every-week WR3/Flex status.
  • Courtland Sutton posted a dud, and his floor games are in play more than we expected with Franklin's larger role and Nix's lack of development, but you should still err on the side of playing him in Week 11 against Denver.
  • J.K. Dobbins ran well, but left with a foot injury that has required a second opinion. While we wait for more news, assume RJ Harvey will start in Week 11 and slot him in as an upside RB2 play unless Dobbins is active. Dobbins' teams should brace for a multi-week absence.

Atlanta vs Indianapolis - Berlin

  • The Falcons used Bijan Robinson more as a wide receiver in this game, and Tyler Allgeier got the vast majority of red zone touches, scoring both rushing touchdowns. Allgeier put the offense on his back when they were inside the 20, so this kind of arrangement may stay in effect, much to the chagrin of Robinson fantasy teams.
  • Michael Penix Jr. was better than his numbers indicated due to drops from his teammates, but he remained somewhat inconsistent, except when he was throwing to Drake London. It appears London has figured out that good things happen when he throws to London, which should increase ceiling games and decrease floor games for the #1 wideout.
  • Kyle Pitts Sr. only caught two balls, but had a chance for two big plays. Once he dropped the ball, and once Penix missed him. If Pitts isn't going to be a high-volume target, the margin of error gets much smaller for him as a fantasy option.
  • Daniel Jones was under a heavy rush, as we should expect the Falcons to be good at getting pressure on the quarterback going forward. He was sharp early, but committed two turnovers to potentially derail his game after committing five in Week 9. Tyler Warren helped him right the ship down the stretch, with Jonathan Taylor doing the heavy lifting for the offense. We don't have to worry as much about Jones turning back into a pumpkin heading into his bye.
  • Taylor took over this game and posted a well-timed season-high 32 carries, including three scores and the longest run in his career - an 83-yard touchdown. He continues to look like a league winner.
  • Alec Pierce caught a touchdown to open scoring for the Colts and added three more long receptions to post another strong game. He's a very good WR3/Flex option with momentum going into the bye.
  • With Warren and Pierce featured in the passing game and Taylor running more than Jones passed, Michael Pittman Jr and Josh Downs were fantasy duds. It's possible that the passing game targets will have more variance down the stretch if the Colts decide to ride Taylor more in a "cold weather" approach. Downs is still worth holding through the bye as a good player in a good offense.

Cleveland at NY Jets

  • Dillon Gabriel was better against a Jets defense that traded away its two best players earlier in the week, but he eventually ran out of gas. The Jets' defense does look like one we can pick on reliably now (they play in New England on Thursday), and the Browns' offense will continue to be one of the worst for fantasy going forward.
  • Gabriel's improvement came mostly through actually connecting with Jerry Jeudy downfield, including on a touchdown. Jeudy is worth a waiver add if he was dropped while we wait to see if Gabriel can carry over this performance to Week 11's game at Baltimore.
  • Harold Fannin Jr. was able to play despite a mid-week hamstring injury. He was adequately productive with David Njoku catching the other touchdown from Gabriel to split the tight end production. If Gabriel doesn't have to rely exclusively on his tight ends, Fannin and Njoku become much less attractive fantasy options.
  • The Jets' points came via two return touchdowns and mostly on the back of Breece Hall offensively. Justin Fields can not support a passing game, and he hasn't been impactful as a runner. He can be dropped. The Jets could get buried against teams with good offenses now that their defense has been gutted.
  • Hall scored from 42 yards out on a swing pass and broke off a run deep into Browns territory to account for the offense's deepest penetration of the day. There's no wavering in his effort, even though the team refused to deal him at the deadline in a contract year over his requests. Isaiah Davis can be dropped as a speculative hold.
  • Garrett Wilson left with a knee injury and will miss 3-4 weeks. He is on track to be back for the fantasy playoffs, but there's a case in short bench redraft leagues to drop him because you might not want to count on him in this offense anyway.

New Orleans at Carolina

  • Tyler Shough was a rookie revelation, with three big downfield plays to account for the two touchdowns and most of the yards on the team's field goal drive. He could have some value in 2QB/Superflex leagues and, more importantly, support a better fantasy environment for the cornerstones of the offense.
  • Alvin Kamara wasn't featured as a receiver, which has been an issue under Kellen Moore, but he got over 100 total yards for the first time since Week 2 and touched the ball 25 times. He should be rested out of the bye and ready to become an RB2 for your team.
  • Chris Olave scored from 62 yards out and could be in play as more than a possession receiver with Shough playing well. Try to trade for him while he's on his bye, especially if his team is in a must-win situation.
  • Juwan Johnson caught a 50+ yard pass to fuel the field goal drive and then a 30-yard score when Shough was flushed from the pocket and found him all alone on the sideline to basically clinch the game. He's worth carrying through the bye.
  • Taysom Hill was on the field for 25 snaps, carried the ball seven times, threw an incomplete pass, and received an unsuccessful target. This usage could turn into fantasy value if the Saints' offense improves after the bye.
  • Bryce Young looked feeble and unable to move the offense against a Saints defense that appears to be underrated. The Falcons D/ST could be a good Week 11 play against him. It doesn't appear that the Panthers have a viable complement to riding Rico Dowdle when it comes to moving the ball consistently.
  • Don't expect a second-half breakout from Tetairoa McMillan, who is producing enough to stay in your lineup as a WR3/Flex, but is too prone to lapses with a quarterback who can't push the ball downfield to be more than that.
  • Dowdle scored on a drive that took a roughing the passer penalty on a Young interception to keep it alive. He's still a high-ceiling RB2, but he finally had less than a dominant performance in a start.

New England at Tampa Bay

  • Drake Maye was able to outlast a game Bucs defense. He threw a dime to Kyle Williams in stride for a 72-yard catch and run score and connected with Stefon Diggs on a gutsy fourth-and-goal throw to account for another quality fantasy performance.  Williams is worth an end-of-the-bench add in deep leagues to see if the Patriots increase his role after his lightning strike game-changing score.
  • TreVeyon Henderson took control of this backfield with two long touchdown runs that were the decisive plays of the second half. Even after Rhamondre Stevenson is back, we won't want to put Henderson on the bench. Stevenson is droppable in short bench leagues.
  • Mack Hollins led the team in targets, catches, and receiving yards, going over 100 for the first time this season. He has had two good games in the last three, and the first one came when Kayshon Boutte was still healthy. Don't underestimate Hollins' value on the waiver wire as a mainstay in the offense who is gaining Maye's trust as a downfield target.
  • Baker Mayfield was productive, but couldn't keep up with the Patriots' big-play ways. He looks better than he did playing through multiple injuries before the bye and should be back in the solid WR1 ranks.
  • Rachaad White was still the lead back, but Sean Tucker was the better runner. Tucker was the first running back this season to go over the 50-yard mark against the stout Patriots run defense. It doesn't look like Bucky Irving will be back in Week 11, so consider White a low-ceiling RB2 and Tucker a deep what-the-heck flex at Buffalo.
  • Emeka Egbuka posted a strong WR1 game as expected, but a reinvigorated Mayfield also found Tez Johnson twice for touchdowns and completed nine balls to Cade Otton. Like Irving, Chris Godwin isn't due back yet in Week 11, so Johnson and Otton are priority waiver adds if they are still out there.
