Pressed for time but still want to stay sharp with the news? We've got you.

Every August, we roll out one of the most valuable things we do at Footballguys: our Footballguys Preseason Updates. Each week, our staff covers all 32 NFL teams, tracking training camp, preseason games, injuries, depth-chart movement, coaching comments, and every relevant player development we think matters for fantasy football.

The result each week is more than 30 pages of detailed, hand-crafted reporting and analysis. It's a monster feature, and we think it's some of the best and most comprehensive preseason fantasy football coverage you'll find anywhere.

But we get it. Life doesn't always leave room for 30+ page deep dives.

That's why we created the Preseason Need-to-Know Report: the distilled version of all that work. Just the most important player and team developments, broken down across all 32 teams, so you can get caught up in minutes instead of hours.

Most of these come straight from our full reports and Footballguys staffers; others are my takes. But it's all curated to give you an edge.

And if something catches your attention and you want the full story, we've made that easy. Every team includes direct links to its Footballguys Depth Chart and complete Preseason Report.

All four weeks of our complete Preseason Reports are free for Footballguys Insiders. So use this report to get the big picture quickly, then dig as deep as you want on the teams and players that matter most to you.

If you find this helpful (or if there's something you'd love to see us add), drop me a note at bryant@footballguys.com and let me know.

Let's dive in.

Arizona Cardinals | Depth Chart | Footballguys Full Camp Report

  • Jeremiyah Love does not have a definite timetable to return from his high-ankle sprain, though the team is hopeful he will be available for Week 1.
  • Carson Beck has missed time due to a rib injury, and Arizona is monitoring his health before returning him to action.
  • Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson remain atop the receiver depth with very little excitement behind them.
  • Trey McBride will be the centerpiece of the offensive attack, consistently leading the team in targets during practice.

Atlanta Falcons | Depth Chart | Footballguys Full Camp Report

  • Michael Penix Jr. has been cleared for full practice participation, officially opening the starting quarterback competition with Tua Tagovailoa.
  • Penix's health timeline heading into Week 1 may ultimately determine the starter more than either quarterback's preseason performance.
  • Tyler Goodson has emerged as a lock for the No. 3 running back role and could push Brian Robinson Jr for the primary backup spot.
  • Drake London was the standout performer during joint practices against the Colts, operating as the clear top option in the passing game.
  • Jahan Dotson is expected to start opposite London in two-receiver sets, with Olamide Zaccheaus as the starting slot receiver and Zachariah Branch serving as the fourth receiver and punt returner.
  • Tight end screens are expected to be a weekly feature of the offense, particularly with Tagovailoa under center given his difficulty pushing the ball downfield.

Baltimore Ravens | Depth Chart | Footballguys Full Camp Report

  • Baltimore's offensive line struggled to protect Lamar Jackson against Brian Flores' exotic blitz packages during joint practices and Game 2 against Minnesota.
  • Derrick Henry acknowledged the offense is a work in progress heading into the regular season.
  • Rashod Bateman was arrested on multiple family violence charges stemming from a June 6 incident and could face a suspension of up to six games, casting uncertainty over his roster status despite a strong showing against Minnesota.
  • Zay Flowers was one of the offensive bright spots against Minnesota, making plays vertically and in yards-after-the-catch opportunities.
  • Mark Andrews appears to be moving past his early camp struggles and remained one of Lamar Jackson's most trusted targets against Minnesota.

Buffalo Bills | Depth Chart | Footballguys Full Camp Report

  • After seeing extensive work in a joint practice against the Browns, Josh Allen and most of the starters were held out for Saturday's second preseason game.
  • Ray Davis could add punt returner duties to his workload, while Ian Wheeler is making a push for a depth spot given an injury to Ty Johnson.
  • Keon Coleman continues to miss time with a sprained foot, although head coach Joe Brady downplayed any long-term concern.
  • There is clear momentum building around Dalton Kincaid, who looks stronger and has yet to miss any practice time all summer.

Carolina Panthers | Depth Chart | Footballguys Full Camp Report

Chicago Bears | Depth Chart | Footballguys Full Camp Report

  • Caleb Williams was sharp in red-zone drills throughout the week but struggled against Cincinnati's interior pass rush during the joint practice, finishing the preseason game with just one drive and a 2-of-5 line.
  • Tyson Bagent is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, giving Miller Moss an extended audition behind Case Keenum for the backup quarterback role.
  • Kyle Monangai's availability for Week 1 is firmly in doubt after a hyperextended knee, opening the door for a Roschon Johnson vs. Salvon Ahmed battle for the third running back spot.
  • Rome Odunze is stepping in comfortably as the team's top receiver while Luther Burden III remains sidelined with a groin injury for the rest of the preseason.
  • Colston Loveland is rapidly emerging as the centerpiece of the Bears' passing attack, with Williams targeting him early and often and trust between the two continuing to build.
