Arizona Cardinals WR Zay Jones (Achilles) will be placed on the Reserve/Injured because of the Achilles injury he suffered in Week 10 game and will miss the rest of the season.

Cardinals wide receiver Zay Jones will miss the rest of the season. Jones left Sunday's game and was almost immediately ruled out with an Achilles injury. On Monday, head coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed that the injury was a tear and that Jones will be going on injured reserve.
Footballguys view: Jones caught 12 passes for 183 yards in eight games for the Cardinals this season. He also played for Arizona in 2024 and previously played for the Jaguars, Raiders, and Bills. Gannon also said that the Cardinals expect Simi Fehoko to miss time with a wrist injury, so the Cardinals will be down a couple of wide receivers for the near future.

Bad news for the Jets offense: WR Garrett Wilson is expected to miss at least 3-4 weeks with a knee sprain, a source tells ESPN.com's Rich Cimini.
Footballguys view: The good news is the injury won't require surgery, just rehab. Nonetheless, the Jets -- and fantasy investors -- will be without Wilson for another month. We'll follow up as further details come to light, but it could make room for newcomers John Metchie III and Adonai Mitchell in a receiving corps that will now be led by Tyler Johnson and Arian Smith.
Minnesota Vikings TE Josh Oliver (foot) is expected to participate in practice this week and should be available for the Week 11 game, according to head coach Kevin O'Connell.

Philadelphia Eagles LB Nolan Smith (triceps) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Nov. 10.
Link to storyWashington Commanders CB Trey Amos (fibula) suffered a fractured fibula during the Week 10 game and will miss an extended period of time, according to head coach Dan Quinn.
Footballguys view: The Commanders drafted Amos in the second round, and he played 10 games, starting eight. He made 32 tackles and six passes defensed.
Harrison Mevis will retain the kicking job for the Rams against the Seahawks this week, Sean McVay announced Monday.
Footballguys view: The rookie was 6-for-6 on extra points in his NFL debut, though he has yet to attempt a field goal. The Rams signed Mevis to the practice squad last week amid Joshua Karty's struggles. Karty missed two kicks in Week 9 and is 10-of-15 on field goals and 23-of-26 on extra points this season. Karty, though, remains on the active roster. Mevis spent time with the Panthers and Jets in training camp the past two years, and he's kicked in the UFL.
Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) will not be traveling with the team to Spain for their Week 11 game and has been ruled out.
Footballguys view: While the news that Daniels won't need surgery for this injury is positive, it's not clear when or if Daniels will return this season. With a Week 12 bye, we won't start getting a better feel for that until at least Week 13.
Chargers TE Oronde Gadsden's MRI today revealed a quad bruise that now will have him "day to day," a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Footballguys view: While this gives Gadsden a chance to play in Week 11, Footballguys injury analyst Adam Hutchison advises us it's not a guarantee just yet. Hutchison explained that quadriceps contusions can be quite painful, as blood can pool below the muscle belly, leading to stiffness and inflammation in both the thigh and knee. This often limits mobility and can prolong the recovery of athletes. For that reason, Hutchison projects Gadsden to miss Week 11. We will, of course, follow up as developments warrant.
Sources tell NFL reporter Jordan Schultz that Bills TE Dalton Kincaid is considered week-to-week with a hamstring injury suffered Sunday vs the Dolphins.
Footballguys view: Kincaid -- one of Buffalo's top targets -- has 29 catches for 448 yards and a team-high four TDs this season. It seems likely he'll miss the team's Week 11 game versus the Buccaneers, and potentially longer, though the Bills haven't yet provided an estimated timetable for the third-year pro's recovery. Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes will move up in the rotation if Kincaid is out. We'll follow up as needed.

Baltimore Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey (finger) may be sidelined for a week or two if he needs to undergo surgery on his finger, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Footballguys view: As USA Today noted, Humphrey was solid in the Ravens' Week 10 win, logging four tackles (two solo) as well as an interception in the second quarter that led to a Tyler Loop 28-yard field goal. The injury puts him at risk of being sidelined for two to three weeks. Baltimore will face the Browns, Jets, Bengals (Thanksgiving night), and Steelers over the next four weeks in what could be a month that sees the Ravens take control of the AFC North.

Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) will be traveling with the team to Spain this week but will not play in the Week 11 game, according to head coach Dan Quinn.
Footballguys view: McLaurin initially injured his quad in Week 3. He missed four games before returning in Week 8 and immediately made an impact, with three catches for 54 yards and a spectacular touchdown. McLaurin played 25 of 53 snaps before leaving after aggravating his injury. He then missed Weeks 9 and 10. Now he'll miss Week 11. The Commanders have a Week 12 bye. For the season, McLaurin has 13 catches for 203 yards and a touchdown.

There were reports that Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman left the locker room after Sunday's win over the Vikings with his foot in a boot, and head coach John Harbaugh confirmed he's dealing with an ankle injury. However, he did not make it sound like a particularly concerning one. "I think he's gonna be OK," Harbaugh said. "He's got an ankle sprain; we'll see how serious it is going forward."
Footballguys view: Bateman had one catch for 10 yards on Sunday, and he also caught a two-point conversion pass from Lamar Jackson. Harbaugh said he thought Bateman's injury occurred on a hip-drop tackle, but no flag was thrown during the game. We'll follow up as needed.

Tennessee Titans WR Lance McCutcheon was released from the practice squad Monday, Nov. 10.
Link to storyWide receiver Chris Godwin remained out for Sunday's loss to the Patriots, and it remains unclear when he might be able to return.
Footballguys view: Godwin has missed the last four games with a fibula injury, and head coach Todd Bowles said at a Monday press conference that he does not know if Godwin has a chance of getting back on the practice field this week. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported last week that Godwin could be out until "late November or early December." We'll continue to watch for more.

Tennessee Titans RB Kalel Mullings (ankle) and S Mike C. Brown (knee) had their 21-day practice windows opened Monday, Nov. 10.
Link to storyTampa Bay Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving's (foot, shoulder) availability for Week 11 is uncertain at this point, but head coach Todd Bowles said the team hopes Irving will return to the lineup soon.
Footballguys view: Irving has missed five games with shoulder and toe injuries. Bowles said that the shoulder injury is the biggest stumbling block right now. He has to be able to take a hit before returning. It's too soon to know if that will be this week or not. But FOX Sports reporter Greg Auman confirmed to us on Sunday that Irving is running without difficulty. We'll follow up as developments warrant.
Jacksonville Jaguars TE Brenton Strange (hip, quadriceps) is expected to have his 21-day practice window opened this week, according to head coach Liam Coen.
Footballguys view: Strange was placed on injured reserve following the Jaguars' Week 5 win over the Chiefs. Strange suffered a hip and quad injury in that game. Before the injury, he had been a big part of the Jaguars' passing game success this season, catching 20-of-24 passes for 204 yards. However, USA Today's Paul Bretl contends Strange's impact on the offense goes well beyond that phase of the game. He is also a competent blocker and can line up across the formation. That do-it-all presence helps further open up the playbook for Coen. We'll follow Strange's progress in coming days.

Denver Broncos LB Alex Singleton (illness) may miss some time because of an illness, but doctors believe he will have a chance to return to the lineup in the near future.
Footballguys view: Singleton announced on social media that he had surgery after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. The diagnosis came after a league-mandated drug test showed elevated levels of the hormone hCG in his system, and further consultations with doctors led to the discovery of a tumor that was surgically removed. Singleton said the belief is that the cancer was caught very early and that he has a "great prognosis" for a full recovery. Singleton said that he is still waiting for further test results, but that "I fully expect to return to the field in the coming weeks."

Houston Texans CB M.J. Stewart (quadriceps) will miss the rest of the season because of the quadriceps injury he suffered in the Week 10 game, according to head coach DeMeco Ryans.
Footballguys view: Stewart started the last three games for Houston and had 25 tackles and a forced fumble in his nine appearances. The eight-year veteran took over as the starting safety following the release of C.J. Gardner-Johnson in September.
M.J. Stewart player page
Cincinnati Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson (hip) is considered doubtful to play in the Week 11 game, according to head coach Zac Taylor.
Footballguys view: Hendrickson last played on October 26th in the loss to the New York Jets. He left that contest early after taking a hit and reaggravating the injury that had been lingering. As SBNation suggested, this is not great news for a Bengals' defense that has struggled mightily in essentially all aspects of the game. It's more exciting news for the Steelers and fantasy investors invested in Pittsburgh skill players in Week 11.

Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud missed Sunday's comeback win over the Jaguars with a concussion, and his status for Week 11 remains unclear on Monday. Head coach DeMeco Ryans said at a Monday press conference that Stroud remains in the concussion protocol. He will have to clear it to play in Nashville against the Titans this week.
Footballguys view: Davis Mills started in Stroud's place and went 27-of-45 for 292 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in a come-from-behind win. The Texans should feel more confident next week against the Titans if there's any reason to hold Stroud out, and we should feel more confident in playing options from the Texans offense if Mills has to start again this season.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (toe) had his 21-day practice window opened Monday, Nov. 10.
Footballguys view: Burrow is eligible to be activated to the roster during the 21-day period, but coach Zac Taylor said Monday that Burrow would not play in Sunday's game against the Steelers. Taylor said Burrow's status will continue to be evaluated each week. In Burrow's absence, Jake Browning and Joe Flacco have started games for the Bengals (3-6), who are coming off a bye week. While an early-December return is possible, Burrow told FOX Sports' Jay Glazer he was aiming for a "Thanksgiving-ish" timetable. We'll be watching closely.

Las Vegas Raiders OL Jackson Powers-Johnson (ankle) is headed to the Reserve/Injured list with an ankle injury, suffered in Week 10, that could end his season.
Footballguys view: With Powers-Johnson sidelined, the Raiders will be without at least two starters on the offensive line when they play the Dallas Cowboys next week on Monday Night Football. Starting left tackle Kolton Miller has been on the injured reserve since Oct. 2 due to a high ankle sprain and a hairline fracture, which he suffered in Week 4's loss to the Chicago Bears. Meanwhile, starting left guard Dylan Parham sustained a high ankle sprain against Denver. Head coach Pete Carroll said Parham attempted to reenter the game but was held back.
New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will serve as the interim head coach after Brian Daboll was fired.
Footballguys view: Kafka played quarterback at Northwestern and appeared in four games for the Eagles during the 2011 season. He remained active as a player through 2015 and joined Andy Reid's staff in Kansas City in 2017. He spent four seasons as the Chiefs' quarterbacks coach before joining Daboll's staff in 2022. As Profootballtalk.com noted, Kafka has interviewed for multiple head coaching vacancies in recent years and will now get a seven-game run to try to convince the Giants or another team that he should get a top job on a permanent basis.
Mike Kafka player page
New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll was fired Monday, Nov. 10.
Footballguys view: Daboll is out after the team blew another double-digit lead Sunday in Chicago. It was the second time this season the Giants lost after leading by at least 10 points with under four minutes remaining. They became just the second team since the NFL merger to do that, joining the 2004 Seattle Seahawks. Assistant head coach and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will serve as the Giants' interim coach. Joe Schoen remains the general manager, and no other changes to the coaching staff are being made at the moment. Daboll was 20-40-1 as the Giants' head coach.
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has avoided naming a starting quarterback ahead of the team's last two games, and he plans to make it three in a row this week. Glenn ended his opening statement at Monday's press conference by letting reporters know that they shouldn't bother with questions about whether Justin Fields or Tyrod Taylor will get the start against the Patriots on Thursday night. "Please don't ask me anything about the quarterbacks," Glenn said. "You know I'm not going to tell you, and I don't want to waste my time when it comes to that, when it comes to who's starting."
Footballguys view: Fields wound up starting each of the last two games, and the Jets picked up their first two victories of the season. He was 6-of-11 for 54 yards in Sunday's win over the Browns, with 42 of the yards coming on a dump-off that running back Breece Hall broke for a touchdown. The Jets scored a pair of touchdowns on special teams, and Glenn noted that it limited both the offensive plays and passing opportunities. Glenn said he saw other "good things" from Fields, but we'll still have to wait for confirmation that he'll remain in the lineup.
Justin Fields player page
Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson left Sunday's win over the Browns after re-injuring his knee while trying to catch a pass from Justin Fields, and the team is still waiting for word on his outlook.
Footballguys view: Wilson missed Weeks 7 and 8 with the knee injury, but returned to play against Cleveland after the team's bye week. Head coach Aaron Glenn said on Monday that the team is hopeful he'll be able to play against the Patriots on Thursday night. "As we go through that whole process as far as imaging -- getting him checked out by the docs before we really stamp what the issue is," Glenn said at a Monday press conference. "Hopefully he'll be good to play this week, but I don't want to stamp that just yet." We'll follow up as needed.
Washington Commanders DT Daron Payne was suspended one game for unsportsmanlike conduct in Week 10 after punching Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Footballguys view: Payne has a right to appeal the suspension. If he loses the appeal, he won't travel with the Commanders to Madrid or play in Sunday's game against the Dolphins, and will be able to rejoin the team on Monday, November 17.
Daron Payne player page
Los Angeles Chargers TE Oronde Gadsden II (knee) will undergo an MRI on his knee Monday, Nov. 10.
Footballguys view: Gadsden left the Week 10 game against the Steelers in the second half. He went to the locker room in the fourth quarter, and he did not return. Before his exit, Gadsden had caught three of his six targets for 13 yards. Losing Gadsden would be significant. He had been a revelation as the top target at tight end for Justin Herbert, averaging 14.2 yards per catch. The Chargers play the Jaguars in Week 11. We'll be watching for more.
Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston was targeted a game-high 10 times, catching five passes for 42 yards versus the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Calvin Austin had two receptions for 14 yards during the team's Week 10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Austin was targeted a team-high seven times.
Link to storyPittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell had two receptions (on three targets) for four yards versus the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10. He did not register a carry.

Link to storyDetroit Lions WR Kalif Raymond caught four passes for 49 yards versus the Washington Commanders in Week 10. He also ran once for 10 yards.

Seattle Seahawks S Nick Emmanwori had a team-high nine tackles (five solo), four passes defensed, and a half sack against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.
Link to storySeattle Seahawks TE Elijah Arroyo had one reception for five yards in a Week 10 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Link to storySeattle Seahawks RB George Holani had seven carries, 31 yards, and a touchdown versus the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.
Link to storyThe 49ers had Brock Purdy on the inactive list again on Sunday, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said it was a closer decision than it has been in previous weeks. "He could have gone, definitely," Shanahan said. "I just decided to hold him, not put him in that situation . . . I do believe he's closer and further along than he was at that time, so hopefully, he'll have a chance this week."
Footballguys view: Purdy has been out since Week 4 with a toe injury, and the team is clearly being cautious with his return. Purdy was initially injured in Week 1, and he aggravated the issue in his Week 4 return. Mac Jones had three touchdown passes in Sunday's loss to the Rams and has generally played well while Purdy's been out of action. Still, Shanahan said that Purdy's health is the only factor in the team's thoughts about their starting quarterback. If Purdy gets the green light on that front, he'll make his return in Arizona next Sunday.
