Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice will practice with the team on Wednesday, Oct. 15, according to head coach Andy Reid. Rice was suspended for the first six games of the season for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.
Footballguys view: Rice is ready to go for Week 7. Reports indicate the Chiefs have no intentions of easing Rice back into the lineup. That means Fantasy GMs can count on him as a WR2 with upside against the Raiders on Sunday. |

Kansas City Chiefs RB Brashard Smith (illness) will not practice on Wednesday, Oct. 15, according to head coach Andy Reid.
Link to storyThe Kansas City Chiefs are on their way to having their fullest complement of offensive weapons in years. Wide receiver Rashee Rice is set to return to practice this week after sitting out his six-game suspension. When he returns to game action, it will mark the first time that he, Xavier Worthy, and Marquise Brown are on the field in a regular-season affair.
Footballguys view: Patrick Mahomes and the offense have shown more juice the past few weeks, scoring 28-plus points in their last three contests. Finally getting their full complement of targets together, the Chiefs could be set to explode. Remember, the receiving trio spent one snap last preseason together. After adding Brown and drafting Worthy last offseason, it was easy to see GM Brett Veach's vision for the offense. Worthy the deep speed threat, Brown patrolling the intermediate, and Rice winning off the line as the possession-type. Now, we'll get a chance to see them all work together. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyquan Thornton was not targeted during the team's Week 6 win over the Detroit Lions.
Link to storyKansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 22-of-30 passes for 257 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions, while adding 10 runs for 31 yards and a touchdown.
Footballguys view: Mahomes orchestrated five scoring drives in seven non-kneel possessions. The first score of the night was his 300th career touchdown pass. Mahomes took what the Lions defense would give him. He had just one attempt (an incompletion) beyond 20 yards, completing 17 of 21 passes for 164 yards and all three of his scores on short (zero to 9 yards) or behind-the-line-of-scrimmage passes. At 3-3, it's difficult to make a case that the Chiefs are totally on point, but the offense has really been stellar most of the season -- and Rashee Rice comes back for Week 7. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (ankle, shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 10, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.
Footballguys view: After a Thursday DNP scare, Worthy will clear the injury report and be a full go in Week 6 against the Lions. The production hasn't been great since Worthy returned from injury. Still, he's been the focal point of the Chiefs' passing attempt. A touchdown or a big play feels imminent. |
Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 10, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.
Footballguys view: Smith-Schuster has practiced in full every day this week. He's a near full-time player in this Chiefs offense, but isn't drawing enough targets to be viable in fantasy outside of the deepest of leagues. |

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (groin) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 10, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.
Footballguys view: Mahomes is often on the injury report with full expectations of playing. After a handful of down years in fantasy, Mahomes is currently the QB2, only 0.5 points per game behind Josh Allen. Start him as a QB1 this week with confidence. |

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (calf) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 10, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.
Footballguys view: Hunt is just another Chiefs vet who gets listed on the injury report seemingly every week with no danger of missing the game. Last week's backfield split veered moderately into Pacheco's favor. But Hunt's chances of scoring again put him into flex consideration against the Lions. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Hollywood Brown (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 10, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.
Footballguys view: Brown has been practicing in full all week. He was on the injury report all of last week and played his normal role on gameday. He'll be active, and he's a desperation WR5/flex against the Lions. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder, ankle) will not practice on Thursday, Oct. 9, according to the team.
Footballguys view: Worthy practiced on Wednesday, so a missed day on Thursday is a concern. Against the Lions on Sunday, Worthy could perform like a WR2 if he's out there. Let's see if Worthy can get back out there on Friday. |
Kansas City Chiefs LB Jeffrey Bassa (knee), LB Nick Bolton (calf), WR Hollywood Brown (ankle), CB Kristian Fulton (ankle), RB Kareem Hunt (calf), QB Patrick Mahomes (groin), DT Omarr Norman-Lott (shoulder), DE Charles Omenihu (ankle), WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), OT Jawaan Taylor (knee) and WR Xavier Worthy (ankle, shoulder) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 8.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce had a game-high seven receptions, 61 yards, and a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5. He was targeted eight times.
Footballguys view: It was only Kelce's second touchdown catch of the season. But the good news is Patrick Mahomes targeted Kelce early in the game against the Jaguars. The veteran tight end had three catches on four targets along with the touchdown through the first quarter. It's a promising outcome. We'll see if the duo can deliver on a more consistent basis. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (ankle, shoulder) had six receptions for 42 yards in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Worthy, who also ran once for nine yards, was targeted a team-high nine times in the loss.
Footballguys view: Worthy was active despite being downgraded to questionable on the official injury report Sunday. The speedy wideout has been playing through a shoulder injury, but he also had an ankle issue -- and he experienced swelling after the flight to Jacksonville. While it didn't look like the ankle slowed him, it wasn't a huge night for Worthy. Still, with Rashee Rice sitting out one more game on his six-game suspension, Worthy continues to serve as Kansas City's most dangerous offensive weapon. |
Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyquan Thornton had three receptions (on five targets) for a game-high 90 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5.
