Panthers | Nothing doing for Ja'Tavion Sanders Sun Nov 30, 05:17 PM
Carolina Panthers TE Ja'Tavion Sanders was able to play in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams, but he didn't have any offensive stats or targets while working behind TEs Mitchell Evans and Tommy Tremble.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette had a single reception for one yard on two targets in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Link to storyCarolina Panthers RB Trevor Etienne did not have a rushing attempt in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams, but he had a 4-yard reception on a single target, while recording 89 yards on four kick returns and a single 15-yard punt return.
Link to storyCarolina Panthers TE Mitchell Evans ended up with three receptions for 20 yards on three targets in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Link to storyCarolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker posted four receptions for a team-best 74 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Footballguys view: Coker burned Emmanuel Forbes for a long touchdown on a fourth down, and he also caught the third down and five pass that clinched the massive win for the suddenly legitimate contender for the NFC South title. Coker should be added on the waiver wire even though he is going into his bye because he put up these numbers despite Bryce Young only throwing the ball 20 times in the win.
Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan posted a single 43-yard touchdown reception on two targets in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Footballguys view: McMillan wasn't scoring much earlier in the season, but he has four scores in the last three games. His one catch was huge in the flow of the game, and McMillan doing this when he is otherwise taken out of the game is reassuring at lineup setting time. He's an upside WR2 after his Week 14 bye.
Carolina Panthers RB Rico Dowdle rushed 18 times for 58 yards in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams, while adding a pair of receptions for 21 yards on two targets.
Footballguys view: Dowdle wasn't a bust and you had to be happy to see him get 20 touches in a game where the Panthers scored 31 points, but his value is down after Chuba Hubbard reasserted himself as an RB1A in what is now a fullblown RBBC. At least the Panthers are playing well enough for Dowdle to still be a RB2/Flex option in the fantasy playoffs, but his value in fantasy leagues is going down.

Carolina Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard rushed 17 times for 83 yards in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams, while adding two receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown on two targets.
Footballguys view: It appears Hubbard came back a little early from his calf injury and the player that we saw pale in comparison to Rico Dowdle is a memory. This is back to being a full blown RBBC, and Hubbard might be the better half of it after the bye. The Panthers are playing well enough for both players to matter during the fantasy playoffs. Hubbard is one of the biggest value gainers of Week 13.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young completed 15-of-20 passes for 206 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams, while running five times for 23 yards.
Footballguys view: Young was hyperefficient, and threw two of his three touchdowns on fourth down and short deep ball play calls. Young also found Jalen Coker on a 3rd and five to clinch the big win. He has been as up and down as any quarterback in fantasy football, but Young will go into the bye with confidence and two good targets with Coker coming on and Tetairoa McMillan playing like a #1. He's a viable QB2/Superflex against New Orleans and Tampa Bay after his Week 14 bye.

Carolina Panthers S Tre'Von Moehrig has been suspended for one game after actions he took against San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings in Week 12.
Footballguys view: Video showed Moehrig striking Jennings in the groin area on Monday night. Moehrig is appealing the suspension. His appeal will be heard and decided upon by either Derrick Brooks, Ramon Foster, or Jordy Nelson, the hearing officers jointly appointed and compensated by the NFL and NFLPA to decide appeals of on-field player discipline.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (hip) practiced in full Saturday, Nov. 22, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 12 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Footballguys view: The 2024 first-round pick injured his hip in the fourth quarter of Carolina's Week 11 overtime win over the Falcons. But now that he's off the injury report, Legette will be available against the 49ers.
Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (ankle) practiced in full Saturday, Nov. 22, for a third consecutive day, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 12 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Footballguys view: McMillan is coming off a career-best 33.0-point output against the Falcons' defense. The rookie caught 8 of 12 targets for 130 yards with two touchdown grabs. McMillan, who hadn't found the end zone since Week 6, caught both of his touchdowns on red-zone throws. Now he heads into a favorable matchup on the Monday Night Football stage in San Francisco.
Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) practiced in full on Saturday, Nov. 22, and he was removed from the practice report ahead of the Week 12 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Footballguys view: Young, who threw for 448 yards last week, gets an interesting matchup in San Francisco. The 49ers have allowed 22.2 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks over their last seven games. Fantasy investors needing an emergency start have a Monday night fallback option.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan faces the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12, and the 49ers have allowed the fourth-most passing touchdowns (21) and fifth-most passing yards per game (249.1).
Footballguys view: McMillan has some Mike Evans to his game. He did in college at Arizona, and that type of playmaking is coming through in his rookie year. Bryce Young clearly loves targeting McMillan, and the production is coming weekly. On Monday night against the 49ers, we like McMillan as a WR2.
Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (ankle) was able to fully participate in practice for the second consecutive day Friday, Nov. 21.
Footballguys view: McMillan's ankle injury is minor, and he's set to play this Monday against the 49ers. He's coming off the best game of his career. With fantasy playoffs quickly approaching, his managers will hope he can build off his monstrous performance.
Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (hip) was able to practice in full Friday, Nov. 21 for the second consecutive day.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (hip) expects to play in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Footballguys view: As CBSSports.com reminded readers, before injuring his hip late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's overtime win over the Falcons, Legette delivered one of his best performances of the season, with four catches for 83 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. Though Legette acknowledged Tuesday that he's still banged up two days after the game, the longer turnaround with a Monday night game against the 49ers will work in his favor. The Panthers resume practicing Thursday.
Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) will have an update on his injured ankle later in the week, according to head coach Dave Canales.
Footballguys view: Canales said he would tell us more on Thursday, but as The Athletic's Joe Person suggested, this is standard operating procedure with Canales during Monday pressers. Young was dealing with the injury for most of Sunday's win over the Falcons, but he did not miss an offensive snap and completed 31-of-45 passes for a career-high 448 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. The Panthers play the 49ers in Week 12.
