Link to story49ers QB Brock Purdy threw three touchdown passes, and the 49ers started the stretch run of their season with a 37-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Footballguys view: Purdy threw two touchdown passes to Jauan Jennings, another on a 1-yard jump pass to George Kittle that coach Kyle Shanahan said he usually gives his quarterback a hard time for trying. "But when it works, we call him Michael Jordan," Shanahan said. Purdy finished 23 for 30 for 295 yards and converted four first downs with his legs, including a 26-yard scramble that was the longest run of the season for the Niners. San Francisco will play the Colts on Monday Night Football in Week 16.

Broncos QB Bo Nix tied his career high with four touchdown throws in a 34-26 win Sunday over the Green Bay Packers, leading Denver to its NFL-best 11th consecutive victory. The Broncos (12-2) clinched a playoff berth and moved a game ahead of New England for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. They stayed two games ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC West.
Footballguys view: According to ESPN.com's Jeff Legwold, Nix has had bigger statistical performances, but he has not had a more complete game in a bigger situation. Nix had more touchdown passes (two) than incompletions (one) in the first half and was precise throughout. He threw with accuracy on the move, was decisive in the pocket, and kept his footwork clean while throwing scoring strikes to four different players. He finished 23-of-34 for 303 yards. The Broncos play the Jaguars in Week 16.

Link to storyGreen Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (chest) is traveling home with the team after being examined at a Denver-area hospital after suffering a chest injury in the Week 15 game against the Denver Broncos.
Link to storyJameson Williams caught a 31-yard TD pass and had seven receptions for 134 yards during Sunday's 41-34 loss to the Rams.
Footballguys view: Williams' 26.4 fantasy points ranked third through Sunday's late-afternoon window. That number is even more impressive, coming on the same day his teammate, Amon-Ra St. Brown, scored 41.4, as Jared Goff and Detroit's passing game met great success on explosive plays early in the game. Detroit has alternated wins and losses since Week 5, endangering its hopes for a third straight playoff berth. A win against the Steelers in Week 16 will be a necessity to have a shot at the postseason, so expect plenty of offense in a favorable matchup against the Steelers.

Link to storyUpdating a previous report, Green Bay Packers DL Micah Parsons (knee) is believed to have torn his anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee on a non-contact injury while pursuing the quarterback in a Week 15 game against the Denver Broncos. Jared Goff passed for 338 yards and three TDs in Sunday's 41-34 loss to the Rams.
Footballguys view: As NFL.com noted, Goff shredded L.A., making pinpoint plays downfield to Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. The Lions moved up and down the field with explosives early. When those dried up, and the offensive line became leaky, the Lions couldn't move the ball in the second half, only finding paydirt when down two scores late. With Sunday's loss, the Lions fall to 8-5, needing to win out and get some help to return to the postseason. The good news? A favorable passing matchup against the Steelers awaits in Week 16.

Amon-Ra St. Brown scorched his hometown team for 163 yards and two touchdowns on 13 receptions in Detroit's 41-34 loss to the Rams.
Footballguys view: According to ESPN.com, St. Brown's 41.4 fantasy points set a new personal best. He now has six games of 30-plus points since the beginning of 2023, tied for second and behind only Ja'Marr Chase (7). Better still, St. Brown is heading into a favorable Week 16 matchup against the Steelers.

Rams TE Colby Parkinson caught five passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Lions.
Footballguys view: Parkinson's first touchdown, a 26-yarder late in the third quarter, put the Rams back ahead. His second TD catch in the fourth quarter was his sixth in his past six games, surpassing the veteran tight end's total TDs in his first 5 1/2 NFL seasons. The Rams play the Seahawks on Thursday night in Week 16.

Green Bay Packers RB Emanuel Wilson finished with two carries for three yards in a 34-26 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 15.
Link to storyRams WR Puka Nacua caught nine of 11 targets for a career-high 181 yards in the Rams' 41-34 win over the Lions.
Footballguys view: Nacua caught all four targets for 134 yards on vertical routes. This marks back-to-back games with over 100 yards on vertical routes for Nacua, who recorded five receptions for 139 yards and two touchdowns on such routes last week against the Cardinals. Although he left the game with cramping, Nacua should be good to go for a Week 16 Thursday night game against the Seahawks.

Link to storyAccording to CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, RJ Harvey left Sunday's win over the Packers with a rib injury. He did not return.
Footballguys view: According to Pro Football Focus, Harvey's last offensive play was at 6:31 in the fourth quarter on a three-yard run. Denver had two more plays on that drive, a four-and-out and two kneel-downs to close out the game. Jaleel McLaughlin took over as the early down back during that time. Harvey finished the day with 19 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown. He missed his lone target. We'll watch for updates on his status for the Broncos in Week 16. McLaughlin and Tyler Badie are next men up if Harvey misses time.

While the Packers have likely lost edge rusher Micah Parsons for the rest of the season, they at least got some positive news for their flight home from Denver. Via multiple reporters, Green Bay noted that receiver Christian Watson will travel back to Green Bay with the team after he was taken to a local hospital for evaluation after suffering a chest injury during the loss to the Broncos.
Footballguys view: Watson exited the game in the third quarter after a Jordan Love deep pass intended for him was intercepted by Pat Surtain II. Watson has played seven games this season after returning from a torn ACL suffered late in 2024. He entered Week 15 with 25 receptions for 452 yards with five touchdowns, adding three catches for 29 yards on Sunday. We'll follow up as needed.

Dallas Cowboys RB Javonte Williams (shoulder) left the Week 15 game against the Minnesota Vikings in the first quarter due to a left shoulder injury, and he is considered questionable to return. He rushed six times for 13 yards and a touchdown before suffering the injury.
Footballguys view: Backup tailback Malik Davis and fullback Hunter Luepke are carrying the load with Williams sidelined, with Davis scoring a 1-yard touchdown run that put the Cowboys back in front 14-7 only eight seconds into the second quarter.
Javonte Williams player page
New York Giants WR Tyrone Tracy Jr. rushed 15 times for 70 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 27 yards and a score in a 29-21 loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 15.
Footballguys view: According to Pro Football Focus, Tracy played a season-high 80.5% of the early-down snaps and 75% of the third-down snaps, which was his third-best rate of the season. Tracy also handled 75% of the running back carries. PFF's Nathan Jahnke contends this performance will make Tracy easier to trust going forward and harder to trust Devin Singletary, who remains the running back most likely to score for New York. Still, the gap in touches makes Tracy the better back to consider for New York going forward. New York plays the Vikings in Week 16.
Playing on Thursday night in Week 16, the Rams don't seem likely to have Davante Adams for a big matchup against Seattle. But, head coach Sean McVay did not rule Adams out on Sunday after Los Angeles' victory over Detroit.
Footballguys view: McVay told reporters after Sunday's win that Adams had aggravated the injury to the same hamstring that kept him out of practice for two days this week. "He was optimistic talking to him. He knows his body really well," McVay said in his press conference. "I can't imagine that's good for Thursday, with just the short amount of time. I certainly wouldn't rule him out quite yet. But, it didn't look good." Adams finished Sunday's game with four receptions for 71 yards. He entered the weekend with a league-high 14 touchdowns. Stay tuned.
