Dynasty Tight End Rankings - June Update

Dave Kluge shares his updated dynasty tight end rankings, with extra thoughts on players whose rankings deviate from our consensus.

Dave Kluge's Dynasty Tight End Rankings - June Update Dave Kluge Published 07/02/2026

Wrapping up my June updates, it's time for another dynasty tight end rankings update. Minicamps are done, and we're in the lull of the offseason as we wait for training camps to open. Tight end remains the thinnest position in fantasy, with a steep drop-off after the top tier, so identifying the right buy-low and breakout candidates matters more here than almost anywhere else. These players are listed in order of my rankings, which differ from those of the rest of our Footballguys staffers. You won't find much dissension atop the rankings, but there are some good targets and fades as you work down the list.

Dynasty Tight End Rankings

Next to each player's name are the Footballguys rankings, followed by a "+/-" indicating how much disagreement there is between my personal ranking and our staff's consensus. For players with significant dissension, I've added thoughts.

The Top 15

  1. Brock Bowers, LV, Age 23 (FBG Rank: 1)
  2. Trey McBride, ARI, Age 26 (FBG Rank: 2)
  3. Colston Loveland, CHI, Age 22 (FBG Rank: 3)
  4. Tyler Warren, IND, Age 24 (FBG Rank: 4)
  5. Harold Fannin Jr., CLE, Age 21 (FBG Rank: 5)
  6. Kyle Pitts Sr., ATL, Age 25 (FBG Rank: 6)
  7. Tucker Kraft, GB, Age 25 (FBG Rank: 7)
  8. Sam LaPorta, DET, Age 25 (FBG Rank: 8)
  9. Kenyon Sadiq, NYJ, Age 21 (FBG Rank: 9)
  10. Eli Stowers, PHI, Age 23 (FBG Rank: 11) +1
  11. Dalton Kincaid, BUF, Age 26 (FBG Rank: 10) -1
  12. Isaiah Likely, NYG, Age 26 (FBG Rank: 15) +3 — After years of anticipating the breakout for Likely, it hasn't happened yet. But being on a new team with a thin room of pass catchers could be what he needs. This is a make-or-break season for Likely's value.
  13. Jake Ferguson, DAL, Age 27 (FBG Rank: 12) -1
  14. Mark Andrews, BAL, Age 30 (FBG Rank: 17) +3 — No longer in the discussions as the overall TE1, Andrews should still have a couple of years of productivity in his tank. High-end tight ends can play well into their 30s, and Andrews is a strong target for contending rosters.
  15. T.J. Hockenson, MIN, Age 29 (FBG Rank: 19) +4 — A couple of years removed from the ACL that zapped Hockenson's explosion, there's hope that he can get back on track in 2026. Still just 29, Hockenson should theoretically have a few years left as a productive tight end.

The Next 39

  1. Dallas Goedert, PHI, Age 31 (FBG Rank: 18) +2
  2. Terrance Ferguson, LAR, Age 23 (FBG Rank: 22) +5 — Ferguson was a great prospect who was buried behind vets during his rookie season. But his per-route efficiency inspires hope that he can break out at some point.
  3. Brenton Strange, JAX, Age 25 (FBG Rank: 16) -2
  4. Oronde Gadsden, LAC, Age 23 (FBG Rank: 13) -6 — Gadsden had a quick flash during his rookie season, but quickly cooled off. He's a reliable pass-catcher, but there are a lot of mouths to feed in a crowded Chargers' offense.
  5. George Kittle, SF, Age 32 (FBG Rank: 14) -6 — Going into his age-33 season and coming off a ruptured Achilles, Kittle will have to prove healthy before I can confidently rank him any higher than TE20 in dynasty.
  6. Chig Okonkwo, WAS, Age 26 (FBG Rank: 20) -1
  7. Juwan Johnson, NO, Age 29 (FBG Rank: 21) -1
  8. Mason Taylor, NYJ, Age 22 (FBG Rank: 26) +3
  9. Theo Johnson, NYG, Age 25 (FBG Rank: 23) -1
  10. Max Klare, LAR, Age 22 (FBG Rank: 29) +4 — Klare was drafted in Round 2 to a team that has shown a clear preference for sets with multiple tight ends. He and Terrance Ferguson should be featured parts of this offense for the next few seasons.
  11. Oscar Delp, NO, Age 22 (FBG Rank: 35) +9 — Delp is a great athlete and a reliable pass catcher. Landing in New Orleans gives him a chance at early playing time, and his profile as a receiver should be good for fantasy purposes.
  12. AJ Barner, SEA, Age 24 (FBG Rank: 27)
  13. Elijah Arroyo, SEA, Age 23 (FBG Rank: 34) +6 — Arroyo didn't do much as a rookie, but he's a seam-buster with good size, speed, and draft capital. The Seahawks' new offensive coordinator, Brian Fleury, is a former tight ends coach and should help develop Arroyo.
  14. Gunnar Helm, TEN, Age 23 (FBG Rank: 24) -5 — There's some excitement brewing for Helm with Chig Okonkwo out of the picture in Tennessee. But a Day 3 tight end with underwhelming athleticism will have to prove himself on the NFL field before I can buy in.
  15. David Njoku, LAC, Age 29 (FBG Rank: 28) -2
  16. Pat Freiermuth, PIT, Age 27 (FBG Rank: 31)
  17. Dalton Schultz, HOU, Age 29 (FBG Rank: 32)
  18. Travis Kelce, KC, Age 36 (FBG Rank: 30) -3
  19. Hunter Henry, NE, Age 31 (FBG Rank: 25) -9 — Going into his age-32 season, Henry has become very touchdown-dependent. With the Patriots drafting Eli Raridon, it looks like they're preparing to move on from the trusty vet soon.
  20. Cade Otton, TB, Age 27 (FBG Rank: 33) -2
  21. Greg Dulcich, MIA, Age 26 (FBG Rank: 36)
  22. Michael Mayer, LV, Age 25 (FBG Rank: 38) +1
  23. Justin Joly, DEN, Age 21 (FBG Rank: 41) +3
  24. Eli Raridon, NE, Age 22 (FBG Rank: 39)
  25. Sam Roush, CHI, Age 22 (FBG Rank: 56) +16 — Drafted early in Round 3, Roush appears to be the heir apparent for Cole Kmet. Ben Johnson has displayed a preference for two-tight end sets, and Roush can slot in as a solid starter alongside Colston Loveland when Kmet's contract expires.
  26. Cole Kmet, CHI, Age 27 (FBG Rank: 44) +3
  27. Joe Royer, CLE, Age 24 (FBG Rank: 59) +17 — Royer is an in-line tight end with pretty soft hands. Looking at how Todd Monken utilized Brock Bowers at Georgia and Mark Andrews in Baltimore could make Royer more involved in Cleveland's offense than people expect.
  28. Tanner Koziol, JAX, Age 23 (FBG Rank: 48) +5
  29. Jack Endries, CIN, Age 22 (FBG Rank: 47) +3
  30. Michael Trigg, DAL, Age 24 (FBG Rank: 51) +6
  31. Jonnu Smith, FA, Age 30 (FBG Rank: 49) +3
  32. Darnell Washington, PIT, Age 24 (FBG Rank: 43) -4
  33. Ja'Tavion Sanders, CAR, Age 23 (FBG Rank: 42) -6
  34. Evan Engram, DEN, Age 31 (FBG Rank: 37) -12 — With his best days clearly behind him, Engram has fallen into a rotational role with little fantasy value.
  35. Colby Parkinson, LAR, Age 27 (FBG Rank: 40) -10 — Parkinson came on strong late last season, but the Rams have made serious investments in Terrance Ferguson and Max Klare in the last two drafts, signaling how they might feel about Parkinson long term.
  36. Jake Tonges, SF, Age 26 (FBG Rank: 45) -6
  37. Dawson Knox, BUF, Age 29 (FBG Rank: 61) +9
  38. Darren Waller, FA, Age 33 (FBG Rank: 54) +1
  39. Ben Sinnott, WAS, Age 24 (FBG Rank: 52) -2
