Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel appears likely to return to the organization for 2026, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. He had signed a contract extension in August 2024 which runs through the end of the 2028 season.
| Footballguys view: A few weeks ago it was reported that some believed McDaniel was saving his job with the recent winning streak, and it appears they were correct. There have also been reports that we should not expect Tua Tagovailoa to play for the Dolphins again, so this is setting up an interesting open-ended question of who the Dolphins quarterback will be next season. |
