| Footballguys view: Mitchell, who averaged 8.4 yards per carry on 47 runs in his rookie year, has been impressive in early workouts. With Derrick Henry leading the way and Justice Hill coming off a career year, there aren't too many more offensive snaps for other running backs in Baltimore. But Mitchell has proven he doesn't need too many snaps to make a significant impact with his big-play ability. He could have an immediate impact in the return game, as he averaged 31.2 yards on his five returns last season. |

Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with the Ravens Wednesday, May 14, worth $30 million. Henry is guaranteed to receive $25 million over the next two seasons.
| Footballguys view: It is the largest deal in NFL history for a running back over 30 years old. Henry is 31 years old and coming off a phenomenal first season in Baltimore, having compiled 1,921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on a career-high 5.9 yards per carry across 17 regular-season games. He added 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 19 catches. He became the first player in NFL history with multiple seasons of 1,900-plus rush yards. Henry, who signed a two-year contract with the Ravens last year, had been set to become a free agent after this season before agreeing to this new extension. Per ESPN's Jamison Hensley, it's still unclear whether Loop will compete with Tucker for the job, or if the 'expectation' is for Loop to be Baltimore's kicker in 2025.
