The Indianapolis Colts placed CB Jaylon Jones (hamstring) on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Sept. 13, due to a hamstring injury.
Link to storySeattle Seahawks S Nick Emmanwori (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. CB Devon Witherspoon (knee) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. S Julian Love (groin) was limited in practice on Friday but is expected to play. LB Ernest Jones (shoulder), LB Uchenna Nwosu (knee), DL Jarran Reed (back), and WR Dareke Young (hamstring) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
Footballguys view: Aaron Rodgers will likely get to dodge Witherspoon, and Riq Woolen, the Seahawks other long/fast/physical corner, had some major lapses last week. The Seahawks second round pick, Emmanwori, was seen as a potential x-factor who could make splash plays early in the season, so Pittsburgh is lucky to avoid him too. If the pass rush doesn't get home, the Steelers could have some success throwing downfield against the Seahawks. |
