49ers | Kyle Juszczyk feeling good into new season Sun Jun 14, 03:45 PM
San Francisco 49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk said he is feeling good heading into the 2026 season, and he has no intention of putting a timeline on his career. 'I feel so good, and I'm still having so much fun,' Juszczyk said. 'I'm in zero pain whatsoever, and I feel like I'm still playing at such a high level. So, I want to continue to do this thing as long as I possibly can. I haven't put a number on when I want to end, but as it stands right now, I'm just going to keep going until the wheels fall off.'

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels will work in a heavy play-action system under new offensive coordinator David Blough, which will, at times, feature bootlegs. The bootlegs will enable Daniels to get more in the open field. 'He's one of the smartest players I've ever coached,' QBs coach D.J. Williams said Saturday, June 13. 'It's his football knowledge, just his natural instincts, but also how quick he can process. Obviously from the outside looking in, you see the speed, you see the arm, you see the playmaking ability, but ... from the neck up, man, that's like he is second to none.'
Link to storyNew York Jets RB Braelon Allen (knee) said Saturday, June 13, that he is back to 100 percent after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Head coach Aaron Glenn said he wants to employ a 'three-headed monster' in the backfield, and that was the plan last season before Allen's injury. RBs Breece Hall, the starter, and Isaiah Davis are the other backs in the equation. Allen also added that he hopes kick returns, which is how he hurt his knee, are going to be a thing of the past.
Link to storyNew York Jets RB Breece Hall is expected to have plenty of company in the backfield, as head coach Aaron Glenn said Saturday, June 13, that he is planning to use Hall, RBs Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis as a 'three-headed monster' in the backfield. He said that was the plan last season until Allen suffered an injury. However, after signing Hall to a three-year, $43.5 million, it's still likely Hall will see his fair share of touches.
Link to storyWashington Commanders PKs Jake Moody and Drew Stevens are considered to be on an 'even playing field' and will both get opportunities to win the team's placekicking job, according to special teams coordinator Larry Izzo, who added that performance on kickoffs will factor into the club's final decision.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield has been 'all business' amid contract extension talks, according to head coach Todd Bowles, and Bowles said there is 'absolutely no question' that he wants Mayfield to stay with the Buccaneers long term.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Hollywood Brown has 'looked good' during offseason activities, according to Eric Edholm of NFL.com.

Seattle Seahawks RB Emanuel Wilson has been the third running back in the pecking order at OTAs and minicamp.
Link to storyWashington Commanders TE Chig Okonkwo will be an exciting part of the offense, according to QB Jayden Daniels. 'Now he gets to go out there and show his talents on a bigger stage and a bigger role in the offense,' Daniels said.
Link to storyWashington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin said he will move around the formation more this season. 'I can go left, right, I can go vertical because I can still run by you,' McLaurin said. 'I can stop or I could go in. Just having those type of variations in your route tree is just an unbelievable weapon to have as a receiver.'

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Eli Heidenreich has impressed head coach Mike McCarthy. 'He's very instinctive, has an excellent skill set,' McCarthy said. 'He's picked up the offense. His position flexibility has been fun. He's had a tremendous start.'
Link to storyNew York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. 'perhaps made the biggest impact at minicamp' with WR Malik Nabers (knee) and WR Darius Slayton (abdomen) sidelined, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com.

New York Giants WR Jalin Hyatt 'had a strong minicamp,' according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com.

Minnesota Vikings WR Terrill Davis (undisclosed) and WR Marcus Sanders (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Thursday, June 11.

Link to storyArizona Cardinals RB James Conner (ankle, foot) should be available for the start of training camp, according to head coach Mike LaFleur.

New England Patriots FB Jack Westover (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Thursday, June 11.
Link to storyNew York Jets QB Cade Klubnik's (back) back injury is not believed to be serious.
Link to storyCleveland Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. (undisclosed) did not participate in any of the workouts or practices this offseason because of an undisclosed reason, according to The Athletic's Zac Jackson.
Footballguys view: We love what Fannin did as a rookie in 2025, but a groin injury late in the season limited him over the final couple of contests. This is an undisclosed injury, so who knows if his lack of participation is related to that or a new injury. So long as he's healthy for training camp and the preseason, we're not too concerned. With David Njoku (Chargers) gone, Fannin could be a top-10 fantasy tight end in 2026.
Houston Texans WR Jaylin Noel has been 'making waves' during OTAs and minicamp, according to Jared Koch of SI.com, and Noel said he is ready to take on a bigger role. 'Being able to be a gamechanger, being able to make big plays, I think that's what I bring to the Texans,' Noel said.
Footballguys view: Watch out for a second-year breakout here. He's been working this offseason as the first-team's slot receiver, and that fits perfectly with Noel's skill set. He's a WR4/5 for Fantasy GMs, but the upside is there for him to move into weekly flex consideration.
Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden worked with WR Christian Watson in two-receiver sets during minicamp.
Footballguys view: A first-round pick in 2025, Golden had a disappointing rookie season. This offseason, he's been the no.2 receiver splitting time with Jayden Reed. Dontayvion Wicks and Romeo Doubs are no longer on the roster, so there's a real opportunity for a speedy receiver like Golden. Consider him a WR5 with upside.
Buffalo Bills RB Desmond Reid (undisclosed) was moved to the Reserve/Injured list Friday, June 12, after clearing waivers.
Link to storyHouston Texans QB C.J. Stroud has a better grasp of offensive coordinator Nick Caley's system, especially when it comes to pre-snap operation, according to quarterbacks coach Jerry Schuplinski.
Footballguys view: Stroud also could get Tank Dell back, and 2025 second day draft picks Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel both look ready to do more in their second seasons. Stroud is an afterthought in 1QB leagues and a bargain in superflex leagues right now.
C.J. Stroud player page
Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams has shown a comfort level in the offense during OTAs and minicamp, according to Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com.
Footballguys view: It will disappointing if Williams doesn't look more comfortable and perform better in year two piloting Ben Johnson's offense. He is priced around QB6-7, but not much cheaper than QB3-5, so the fantasy football community expects him to improve. At least one of Colston Loveland, Luther Burden III, and Rome Odunze will be a big hit if Williams takes the expected step forward.
New England Patriots WR A.J. Brown has shown an 'immediate' connection with QB Drake Maye, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.com.
Footballguys view: Maye has immediately been throwing into small windows when targeting Brown, and the new acquisition is only encouraging his quarterback to trust him. Brown has a higher ceiling as a Patriot than he did as an Eagle, and he could help Drake Maye establish himself as the clear QB2 in fantasy football behind Josh Allen if Lamar Jackson has another injury-riddled season.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) and the team are 'both leaning into this Week 1 possibility' for Mahomes' return, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com.
Footballguys view: The league putting the Chiefs at home on Monday night against the Broncos to open the season might have been a coincidence, but with every passing day it appears that it will create maximum drama for Mahomes return to the field. He had returned to the fantasy elite thanks to his running ability and extended plays, but the Chiefs might limit that element of his game early in his return from knee surgery. Mahomes is priced correctly around QB10, but could get off to a slow start as he rounds into form.

Carolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker agreed to terms on a three-year, $35 million extension with incentives worth up to $41 million, according to his agent.
Footballguys view: Coker gave up two years of control in exchange for getting paid two years ahead of when he would enter unrestricted free agency. He is getting more guaranteed money than fellow 2024 draft class wide receivers and first round picks Brian Thomas Jr. and Xavier Worthy got on their initial contracts. Coker is the clear WR2 and one of the most underrated wide receivers in fantasy drafts right now.
Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (foot) missed some time during the mandatory minicamp because of a foot injury but hopes to be ready for the start of training camp.
Footballguys view: McMillan said his foot is a "little sore" and he has "no concern at all". As long as he is full go for camp next month, we agree. McMillan did injure his left foot and have a procedure on it in college, but it's not clear which foot McMillan was talking about. There's no need to move McMillan down in your rankings unless he isn't participating when camp opens.
Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson said he plans to work out with both QB Kyler Murray and QB J.J. McCarthy leading up to training camp.
Footballguys view: We have a legitimate quarterback competition in Minnesota, which could be good or bad for Jefferson. If it spurs one of Murray or McCarthy to up their game and play at a high enough level to help Jefferson pay off at a still high ADP, then it is good. But if the split in first team snaps makes neither quarterback adequately prepared and the competition doesn't have a true winner - only a quarterback who wasn't as bad as his competitor - then Jefferson could be very disappointing once again this year.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Johnny Wilson had a 'better' spring than WR Darius Cooper and could challenge for a roster spot, according to Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com.
Link to storyFree agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) was cleared of any personal conduct policy violation by the league on Friday, June 12, and has closed their investigation into a matter between him and his former chef.
Footballguys view: This was the expected outcome, but teams were likely waiting to sign Diggs until after this statement was released by the league before signing him. Washington and Baltimore have been mentioned as possible destinations.

Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry told the media on Friday, June 12, that 'everything is on the table' as it relates to QB Deshaun Watson.

Cleveland Browns WR Aaron Anderson (undisclosed) left practice early Thursday, June 11, because of an undisclosed injury.
Link to storyKansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice (knee) is expected to be ready for the start of training camp, according to head coach Andy Reid.
Footballguys view: The Chiefs want Rice to be healthy and at his best when the start of the regular season gets here. He could be ready for the start of camp, but we expect the Chiefs to ease Rice into action over the summer. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Rice needs to get healthy, stay healthy, and stay out of trouble with the law if he wants to get a new deal from Kansas City.

Free-agent WR Deven Thompkins (Falcons) and WR Max Tomczak (Bills) signed with the Buffalo Bills Thursday, June 11. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed. The team also waived WR Gabriel Benyard and waived/injured RB Desmond Reid (undisclosed).
Link to storyCleveland Browns WR Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, June 11, because of hamstring discomfort, according to head coach Todd Monken.
Footballguys view: It's June, so no big deal here. Jeudy is a speed receiver who can work defenders because of his route-running ability. With two high-profile rookie receivers added (KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston), it dings the fantasy value for Jeudy. We like him as a WR5/deep flex play in 2026.

Free agent WR Joaquin Davis (Vikings) and defensive back Daryl Porter Jr. (Bills) are signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday, June 11. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton told the media on Thursday, June 11, that QB Bo Nix did some walkthrough work and will be out there for some work next week for minicamp.
Footballguys view: Nix is coming off an ankle injury in the Divisional Round against Buffalo that needed two surgeries to correct. He's not doing much this week, but the team plans for him to do a bit more at mandatory minicamp next week. We imagine Nix will be a full participant when training camp opens for the Broncos in late July.
Houston Texans RB coach Danny Barrett described RB David Montgomery, saying, 'He's a three-down back. He can do it all.'
Footballguys view: Montgomery can do it all. The veteran was traded for in early March, and he should be the lead back for the Texans this year. Woody Marks can provide some juice as a reserve runner and receiver out of the backfield. As a lead back for the Texans, we like Montgomery as an RB2/flex option for Fantasy GMs out there.
David Montgomery player page
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (shoulder) took part in the team's OTA session on Thursday, June 11.
Footballguys view: He's a player who is coming back from an injury, but Irving is expected to be near full strength for training camp. Irving is a playmaker, but the Buccaneers might use a bit more from Kenneth Gainwell or Sean Tucker in what could be more of an RBBC than Irving's Fantasy GMs want. We see Irving as a low-end RB2/flex option for Fantasy GMs in 2026.
Seattle Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) could be ready by Week 1, according to head coach Mike Macdonald, who said 'everything is possible.' Macdonald acknowledged Charbonnet is ahead of schedule.
Footballguys view: Anything is possible (thanks, Kevin Garnett), but what's likely here with Charbonnet? It's likely that he's going to need some time to get back to himself, even if the veteran back is ready for the start of the regular season. Rookie first-round pick Jadarian Price is impressing this offseason and could do most of the heavy lifting in the Seattle backfield - at least to begin the 2026 season.

Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love said he spent the offseason working to improve his footwork in the pocket. 'My biggest thing that I've noticed since I got back is just my feet in the pocket, trying to be as smooth and consistent as possible,' Love said. 'When I go through my reads, get into my hitches and not getting antsy, not getting to that point where you're trying to move through the pocket too fast.'
Footballguys view: That's a good place for Love to concentrate on improving his game. A passer's motion begins with proper footwork, so Love should be a better passer with better feet. Earlier this year, Packers HC Matt LaFleur said the team would "strip everything down" on offense in 2026. We like Love as a QB2 with upside in what could be a passing game that's more efficient this season.
Jordan Love player page
Cleveland Browns WR Denzel Boston has been one of the 'standouts' during offseason activities, according to Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com.
Footballguys view: It's easy to see why when considering the physical talent that Boston brings to the field. He's a big-bodied target who can play 'above the rim.' Boston knows how to use his size and strength to box out smaller defenders. He's likely to be the team's no.3 receiver this year, but we love his upside in dynasty formats. With his size and ball skills, Boston produce as a red-zone threat.
New Orleans Saints TE Oscar Delp (hamstring) has been dealing with a hamstring injury.
Footballguys view: Delp must have injured his hamstring this offseason. With mandatory minicamp next week, we'll see how much work the Saints give him. Delp is a high-ceiling player who could outproduce what he did in college during his pro career. This year, Delp should serve as a reserve behind TE Juwan Johnson.
Seattle Seahawks WR Rashid Shaheed is expected to have bigger role in the offense, according to head coach Mike Macdonald. 'The timing of our plays looks like it should, given the amount of reps that are invested into it,' Macdonald said. 'I'm excited as heck to see where it goes.'
Footballguys view: Shaheed is a weapon on special teams, and he brings that same danger to the offensive side of the ball. We could see him push Cooper Kupp down the depth chart, and Shaheed could easily be the team's no.2 receiver. From a fantasy perspective, Shaheed is a WR5/deep flex in standard-scoring leagues. However, the upside to move into weekly flex territory is there.
Seattle Seahawks TE Elijah Arroyo (undisclosed) and TE Eric Saubert (undisclosed) have not been practicing during minicamp but are expected to be ready for training camp, according to head coach Mike Macdonald. 'They're just working through some stuff, but it's positive for training camp,' Macdonald said. 'We're just taking care of them right now.'
Footballguys view: Arroyo is the player to watch here. The second-year tight end has the speed to be a weapon in the middle of the field. He's a reserve behind AJ Barner at this time, but we love Arroyo's upside in dynasty formats.
Eric Saubert player page
Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price has played entire drives with the first-team offense during mandatory minicamp.
Footballguys view: Price, a 2026 first-round pick, has reportedly been impressing this offseason. He should be considered the leader in the backfield, although we could see George Holani split time with the rookie early in the season. Zach Charbonnet could be ready sooner than possible, but he's coming back from a knee injury suffered in the playoffs. Let's see if Price can continue to separate himself from Holani in minicamp and training camp.
New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (illness) has been held out of team drills while he continues to recover from the blood clot that sidelined him at the end of last season, according to head coach Kellen Moore.
Footballguys view: Olave's agent should be working on a new long-term deal with the Saints this offseason. Just over a week ago, Olave told reporters that he feels a contract extension is "going to get done soon." We'll see if something can get done before training camp.
Seattle Seahawks WR Tory Horton (shin) was on the field during the mandatory minicamp this week but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp or the early stages of camp.
Footballguys view: A fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Horton has flashed briefly in the pros. Last year as a rookie, Horton played in eight games and started three games, finishing with 13 catches for 161 yards and five touchdowns. A shin injury cut his season short, and now he's working his way back this offseason. When healthy, Horton can operate as a special teams return man and no.3/no.4 receiver who can thrive near pay dirt.
