Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price 'looked plenty capable as a pass catcher' during spring practices, according to Brady Henderson of ESPN.com.

New England Patriots WR DeMario Douglas was a standout performer during the offseason workouts, in the opinion of Patriots.com's Evan Lazar.
Footballguys view: Douglas had a great run-up to the 2025 season as well, before his slot snaps were reduced to play Stefon Diggs inside. According to Lazar, Douglas's quickness and speed to separate from man coverage stand out among the other receivers. The question is whether it translates in the regular season. The other question is whether there will be a consistent week-to-week role with A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs at the top of the depth chart.

Dallas Cowboys RB Malik Davis seems to be the leading candidate for the No. 2 running back job this upcoming season, in the opinion of NFL.com's Kevin Patra.
Footballguys view: While Davis the frontrunner, Dallas would love for Jaydon Blue to make a leap in Year 2 and snag a pass-catching role, providing a change of pace to Javonte Williams. The Cowboys could also look for Phil Mafah to take on more of a role. Dallas spent the offseason giving the two second-year backs more reps in the hope one would stand out. Coaches will likely curtail Williams' usage during training camp, allowing the youngsters to take on additional snaps and see who can take a step forward. Still, expect Davis to be the No. 2 until further notice.
Denver Broncos TE Caleb Lohner (undisclosed), OG Nick Gargiulo (knee) and OG Ben Powers (undisclosed) may be ready to participate at the start of training camp.
Link to storyKansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) is 'trending towards' being cleared for 11-on-11 work at the beginning of Chiefs' training camp, in the opinion of Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer on Tuesday, June 30.
Footballguys view: Mahomes has been in on installs, individual and seven-on-sevens through the spring. His arm has looked good, given how rehab has limited his throwing work over the past six months. But even if he's cleared for 11-on-11 work, the plan is to be smart here. Breer added the Chiefs know, given the competitor in question, once they tell Mahomes he can go, he will go; they'll likely pace him some early on. But he's in a good place, way ahead of the normal ACL/LCL rehab timeline.

Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua is eligible for a contract extension, but after trading for CB Trent McDuffie and DE Myles Garrett, the team doesn't seem to be in a hurry for any contract extensions, in the opinion of ESPN's Sarah Barshop on Tuesday, June 30.
Footballguys view: The Rams have a strong group of extension-eligible candidates from their 2023 draft class, and Nacua is at the top of that list. It remains to be seen whether the Rams get ahead of those contract extensions or focus instead on the 2026 season. The latter appears to be the way they are leaning. A deal could certainly get done -- one that makes Nacua the top-paid player at his position -- but Nacua's situation is further complicated by recent off-field issues. Of course, none of this changes Nacua's status as a consensus top-five fantasy pick.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young is viewed as the long-term franchise quarterback in Carolina, but they are not in a rush to jump the market for an extension, which may not happen until next offseason, in the opinion of ESPN's Dan Graziano on Tuesday, June 30.
Footballguys view: The Panthers picked up Young's fifth-year option for 2027 at $25.904 million, which was a no-brainer because it means they'll be paying him a total of $31.83 million over the next two years. But Graziano contends -- with Houston seemingly in no hurry with Young's 2023 draftmate C.J. Stroud -- there's no rush to jump the market and do a Young deal without seeing more.

Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby will reportedly not pursue further litigation against the NFL and focus on his preparation for the 2027 NFL Draft, according to a source on Tuesday, June 30.
Footballguys view: The NFL will not discipline Sorsby for known misconduct but retains the right to investigate his conduct beyond what's in current public filings, an NFL source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It reserves the right to take college misconduct into consideration in setting discipline for future violations. In a statement released Tuesday, Sorsby said, "I accept 100% responsibility for my actions. I did not have control of my gambling problem, and it took getting caught for me to realize that, but it was truly the best thing that could've happened to me." So, that's it for Sorsby until 2027.
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Darnell Washington revealed that he played last season at 311 pounds, according to a source, and even got as heavy as 330 pounds. A recent report has him at 264 pounds, and he is poised to be a 'weapon' in Mike McCarthy's offense.
Footballguys view: Washington agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $42 million to remain with the team early in June. Thanks to his 6-7, near-300-pound frame, Washington has been used as a big red-zone target in Pittsburgh. There's no reason to believe the weight loss will be a limiting factor. Still, Washington's fantasy value is much lower than his "real football" value to the Steelers.

Green Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft and the Packers may get a 'lucrative extension' done before the season as both sides have stated their desire to go forward together, in the opinion of Rob Demovsky on Tuesday, June 30.
Footballguys view: With deals done for Jayden Reed and Christian Watson this offseason, Kraft should be next up. But Demovsky acknowledges it could be complicated because of the torn ACL that ended his season in November. To that point, Kraft was one of the league's most productive tight ends with 32 catches for 489 yards and six touchdowns in eight games. Nonetheless, a deal appears likely given that both sides have stated their desire to go forward together. Kraft, despite the knee injury, is being drafted as TE6 based on the expectation he'll be ready Week 1. We'll be watching for more.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett is seeking more guaranteed money from the team ahead of the 2026 season, according to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss.
Footballguys view: Brissett left Arizona's mandatory minicamp without a reworked contract for 2026, leaving his situation in flux. He broke his offseason holdout during mandatory minicamp earlier this month to avoid being fined for not showing up, but he essentially turned his appearance into a hold-in. He's still looking for a reworked contract that will increase his guaranteed money from $1.5 million, according to Weinfuss. Coach Mike LaFleur said conversations with Brissett will be ongoing during the team's six-week break before the team reports to minicamp July 22. "We'll see where it goes," LaFleur said. Stay tuned.

Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Wilson is in talks with the team on a contract extension, and they are 'going great,' according to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss.
Footballguys view: As Weinfuss noted, Wilson is heading into his first contract year at exactly the right time. He's fresh off his first 1,000-yard season and was a key component to Arizona's offense in 2025, a role that'll likely continue into 2026. A 2023 third-round draft pick, Wilson knows that his 1,006 yards last season will help him "a lot" in his negotiations. Wilson hopes to stay in Arizona long-term, citing a desire to play for one team throughout his career. For our purposes, Wilson continues to offer great value as WR39 in Round 7.

Buffalo Bills RB James Cook could become a bigger part of the passing game with new offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael, in the opinion of beat writer Matt Parrino.
Footballguys view: Parrino noted that Carmichael's time in New Orleans, working under Sean Payton, offers a clue: In his first five seasons as a pro, Alvin Kamara had the most receptions by a running back in any five-year span in NFL history. "I think one part of the evolution of this offense with Carmichael here now is getting Cook more involved in the passing game," Parrino said. Cook caught 44 passes in 2023, and Parrino believes that's a realistic total this year. Cook is being drafted as RB5 with the ninth pick overall. This news further solidifies that value.
Cleveland Browns WR KC Concepcion has made several plays during an offseason program that favors the passing game. The Browns got him the ball in a bevy of ways, from deep shots to screens to run plays, suggesting he could be used in a variety of ways, according to Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN on Monday, June 29.
Footballguys view: Oyefusi went on to note that Concepcion showed off not only his elusiveness but also his ability to make tough catches at times. The Browns got him the ball in a variety of ways, from deep shots to screens to run plays. As Footballguy Jeff Bell noted, new coach Todd Monken developed Zay Flowers as his top receiver in Baltimore, a skillset Concepcion can replicate. It is easy to see Monken feature Concepcion and Harold Fannin Jr. this year. Concepcion, as WR57, is currently the first Browns receiver off the board, in the 10th round.
Philadelphia Eagles WR Makai Lemon was primarily featured in the slot during minicamp and workouts, and will be utilized in pre-snap motion with his short-area quickness being a key the team wants to take advantage of, in the opinion of Tim McManus of ESPN on Monday, June 29.
Footballguys view: According to McManus, pre-snap motion is expected to be featured in new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion's scheme, and early indications suggest Lemon will be a big part of that. There were some expected growing pains, but Lemon's short-area quickness stands out. He was sidelined for minicamp because of a hamstring injury. Lemon, at WR38 in redraft ADP, is the second Philadelphia wideout being drafted (Devonta Smith is WR14). Landing Lemon as your WR4 in Round 7 offers some flexibility in allowing him to develop this year, while dynasty investors will have to land him in WR3 territory.
New York Jets WR Omar Cooper Jr. was the team's 'most impressive rookie in the spring' and has all but solidified a spot in the team's three-receiver package, in the opinion of Rich Cimini of ESPN on Monday, June 29.
Footballguys view: According to Cimini, Cooper is a smooth route runner who adjusted nicely to an NFL-style offense. Because of his physical style and run-after-catch ability, he should be even better when the pads go on in training camp. The question for Cooper, who will work behind Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell -- at least to open the season -- is whether he'll get sufficient opportunities to be fantasy relevant. Remember, the Jets also drafted TE Kenyon Sadiq, who joins Mason Taylor at that position. That said, Cooper is a great dynasty play with a great long-term outlook.
Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price will reportedly 'share time' with RBs George Holani and Emanuel Wilson as Seattle waits for RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) to return from injury, according to a source on Monday, June 29. Price was also not drafted with the thought that he'd become a high-volume starter right away.
Footballguys view: As ESPN.com's Brady Henderson noted, Price will share time with Holani and Emanuel Wilson as Seattle waits for Zach Charbonnet to return. One question with Price is his ability to contribute in the passing game after he finished his college career with only 15 receptions. He looked plenty capable as a pass catcher during the spring, but how he handles pass protection will be a factor in earning playing time. All that said, Price's RB26 ADP leaves a lot of room for upside if the rookie begins asserting himself early in the season.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Tank Bigsby could earn a bigger offensive role if he performs well during training camp and the preseason, in the opinion of EaglesWire's Glenn Erby.
Footballguys view: Philadelphia's offense will still run through Saquon Barkley, but the Eagles need to be smart about preserving him over a 17-game season. Bigsby flashed during spring work, and his physical running style gives the offense a different kind of backup option if he earns trust in pass protection, short-yardage situations, and special teams. His camp role could shift quickly if the Eagles decide he is reliable enough to handle a regular workload rather than occasional snaps. Bigsby is being drafted as RB54 in Round 14.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman may be pushed by WR Ja'Kobi Lane and WR Elijah Sarratt for playing time if he does not have a strong training camp, in the opinion of RavensWire's Glenn Erby.
Footballguys view: Erby contends that Bateman isn't just facing real competition for his role in the passing game; he might be battling for a roster spot. Zay Flowers is the clear No. 1, and Baltimore invested in two rookie wideouts with traits that could translate quickly. Lane gives the Ravens size, catch radius, and red-zone potential, while Sarratt brings polish, route detail, and a skill set that could make him a trusted possession target for Jackson. That puts pressure on Bateman to stay healthy and reassert himself as more than a complementary option. We'll be watching for more on this in August.

Free-agent WR DeAndre Hopkins (Ravens) could be an option for the Cincinnati Bengals during the rest of the offseason and training camp, in the opinion of BengalsWire's Chris Roling.
Footballguys view: Hopkins talked about playing with Joe Burrow and the Bengals earlier this offseason before catching passes from the star quarterback during a flag football event. Now, he's making the rounds and talking about his next possible fit. "I know in my position, I'm a utility guy," Hopkins said on SiriusXM NFL Radio. "I'm a special situation kind of guy." Hopkins went on to say that while he's not in a rush, he would like to play for a contender. The Bengals fit that bill. Stay tuned.

New York Jets first-round pick TE Kenyon Sadiq (abdomen) will be ready for training camp.
Footballguys view: Sadiq missed OTAs and minicamp after hernia surgery, stemming from a college injury. The Jets said they were aware of it during the predraft process. While he's expected to be ready for training camp, Sadiq will be behind. According to ESPN.com's Rich Cimini, OC Frank Reich has a plan for Sadiq, whom he envisions as a mismatch because of his speed and explosiveness. He's a high-end dynasty prospect, but Sadiq's ADP in redraft -- TE17 -- reflects his immediate value.
Tennessee Titans first-round pick WR Carnell Tate has impressed teammates with his polish as a rookie. 'For a rookie to come in, doing some of the things that he's doing is really, really exciting,' CB Alontae Taylor said. 'Come Sundays, he's going to be very exciting to watch.'
Footballguys view: Tate impressed from the start with his swift route running and consistent catching ability. He was a standout, especially in OTAs -- where he reached the end zone three times in practices open to the media. He should be a great fit with second-year QB Cam Ward, who is an aggressive downfield passer. Footballguy Sigmund Bloom believes dynasty players should be willing to trade up for Tate, who he expects to level off as a top 10-15 fantasy receiver as long as Ward's upward trajectory coming out of last season continues.
Las Vegas Raiders first overall pick QB Fernando Mendoza has experienced growing pains in OTAs, particularly when playing under center.
Footballguys view: According to ESPN.com's Ryan McFadden, the Raiders have been patient with Mendoza's adjustment to the next level, having him play mostly with the second and third teams during OTAs and minicamp. He has impressed many in the building with his work ethic, leadership qualities, and ability to find open targets for completions quickly. While Mendoza focused on his footwork, the presence of veteran Kirk Cousins allows the Raiders to take their time. They feel no need to rush Mendoza.
Baltimore Ravens third-round pick WR Ja'Kobi Lane's size, catch radius and wingspan could make him a weapon in the red zone.
Footballguys view: As USA Today's Geoffrey A. Knox put it, "Lane arrives with traits that simply can't be coached." If the 6-4, 200-pound Lane develops quickly, he could become one of Baltimore's most productive rookies in recent memory.
Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold is comfortable with the use of shifts and motion in offensive coordinator Brian Fleury's system, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com.
Footballguys view: Darnold will be playing for his seventh offensive coordinator in six seasons. But Fleury, a former 49ers assistant, isn't installing an entirely new playbook, and Darnold won't have to start from scratch. The Seahawks will continue to run an offense similar to what they ran last year under Klint Kubiak, another Kyle Shanahan disciple. Darnold completed a career-best 67.7 percent of his passes and threw for over 4,000 yards last season, but turnovers were an issue, and his QB22 ADP suggests fantasy investors are skeptical.
Sam Darnold player page
Dallas Cowboys WR Ryan Flournoy has worked from the slot more this offseason.
Footballguys view: Flournoy has been one of the most buzzed about players in the offseason with George Pickens barely participating in practices. Flournoy probably won't arrive as a weekly start if Pickens stays healthy. What we have learned this offseason is that if Pickens isn't signed to a long term deal, the Cowboys have a player they believe can be a starter to replace him. Flournoy's development will also help Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense.
Denver Broncos WR Troy Franklin said he hopes to be more consistent with his play this upcoming season and hopes to take his play to the next level.
Footballguys view: Franklin and 2023 second round pick Marvin Mims haven't had the desired impact since the Broncos drafted them, so they felt compelled to trade this year's first and additional draft capital to get Jaylen Waddle. Now Franklin and Mims (who has indicated he thinks this could be his last year in Denver) will be fighting promising 2025 third round pick Pat Bryant for snaps when the team puts three or more wideouts on the field.
Tennessee Titans WR Carnell Tate said he will be working on better understanding the offensive system leading up to the start of training camp.
Footballguys view: Tate grabbed headlines early in the offseason with some dominant practices, but free agent pickup Wan'Dale Robinson followed offensive coordinator Brian Daboll from the Giants, and there has also been talk about expanding his role from previous levels. There's also the issue of whether Cam Ward will take a step forward in his second year. We'll be monitoring Titans camp report to see if Tate or Robinson, or both should be on your draft target list.
San Francisco 49ers TE Jake Tonges will likely see an increased role in the offense if TE George Kittle (Achilles) is not ready to play at the start of the regular season, in the opinion of NinersWire's Kyle Madson.
Footballguys view: Tonges is a waiver wire watch list player for now, but if Kittle is on PUP to begin camp, he'll move up in the rankings. He was a productive option when Kittle missed time last year, with five strong performances in seven games as the starter.
Free-agent TE Josiah Deguara (Cardinals) could be a possible target for the Carolina Panthers leading up to training camp, in the opinion of The Charlotte Observer's Mike Kaye.

Wahington Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt said he hopes to show the team that he can be a three-down back in the NFL. He understands that he will have to earn the starting running back job during training camp.
Footballguys view: Croskey-Merritt needs to prove that he can be an asset on passing downs, and a good one, to take snaps away from accomplished third down back Rachaad White. He'll also need to show a rugged edge to get short yardage work over sixth round pick Kaytron Allen after the coaching staff preferred Chris Rodriguez to Croskey-Merritt by the end of the season. He's still one of the cheapest backs projected to lead his backfield in touches, and many of the best picks at running back come from the group that matches that description.
Dallas Cowboys RBs Jaydon Blue, Phil Mafah and Malik Davis will all likely be candidates for the No. 2 running back job during training camp and the preseason, in the opinion of DallasCowboys.com's Kurt Daniels.
Footballguys view: This looks like a messy committee if Javonte Williams goes down. Blue's speed give him the best chance to get manufactured touches even when Williams is healthy, but Davis or Mafah would be a more consistent between the tackles early down runner, and Mafah is the easy choice as the short yardage back if Williams goes down. There's also a question of whether the Cowboys will carry all four backs. If not, someone will likely snap up whoever they try to stash on the practice squad.
Buffalo Bills WR Joshua Palmer (ankle) said that he is close to being fully recovered from the ankle injury which caused him to miss five games last season, which ended up with a stint on the Reserve/Injured list.

Houston Texans offensive coordinator Nick Caley said that he wants to give the team's tight ends an increased role in the offense in 2026, after they fought through various injuries last season. TE Dalton Schultz missed Houston's playoff game due to a strained calf, TE Cade Stover was sidelined for an extended period after breaking his foot in the season opener and TE Brevin Jordan sustained a torn patellar tendon in training camp, leading to the Texans deploying OT/TE Blake Fisher as their main blocking tight end.
Footballguys view: There's nothing actionable here for fantasy with Schultz on the fringe of fantasy relevance, but it would complicated a second year breakout for Jayden Higgins or comeback story for Tank Dell if the tight end group took targets away from a wide receiver group that only has one full-time player (Nico Collins). It would help CJ Stroud if the pass offense was more diverse and effective in personnel sets, and more tight end targets would do that.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson said that his individual goals are to have at least 10 touchdowns and 1,100 receiving yards during the 2026 regular season, which would both be career highs.
Footballguys view: Watson is currently going off of the board as a WR3, but these numbers would make him a WR2 and hit at ADP. He has put his injury issues behind him and should get a big bump in snaps and targets this year after Romeo Doubs left for New England in free agency.
Jacksonville Jaguars TE Quintin Morris' roster spot could be in trouble due to the early success of TE Tanner Koziol, according to Eric Edholm of NFL.com.
Link to storyIndianapolis Colts RB DJ Giddens has a better understanding of the offensive system and showed growth during offseason workouts, according to head coach Shane Steichen.
Footballguys view: Giddens can currently be seen as the no.2 RB for the Colts behind Jonathan Taylor. With Taylor being incredibly durable, Giddens was only able to get 26 carries last year as a rookie. Giddens has the physical skill to compete at the pro level, and he'll have to beat out Seth McGowan in training camp for the backup job.
New England Patriots WR Kyle Williams may not be a consistent weekly part of the passing game this upcoming season unless there is an injury at receiver, in the opinion of NBC Sports Boston's Phil Perry.
Footballguys view: Adding AJ Brown to the mix will move guys down the pecking order, and Williams is one of those guys. Williams has been working on his game this offseason, hoping to improve his game in the middle of the field. He's got speed and skill, but the second-year pro is competing for a spot at the end of the bench. Williams is likely their no.5 or no.6 receiver on the depth chart.
Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett continues to seek a reworked contract, according to head coach Mike LaFleur, who noted that both sides will engage in negotiations before training camp opens July 22.
Footballguys view: We'll see if the two sides can get something done before the start of training camp. Brissett's dissatisfaction reportedly stems from his current deal only containing $1.5 million of guaranteed money for the 2026 season. Deals get done at deadlines, and after an offseason where the reports about movement were virtually non-existent, it's good to get a bit of news.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell has 'solidified himself as the No. 2 receiver' with his performance this spring, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.com.
Footballguys view: Earlier reports indicate that Mitchell has "budding chemistry" with QB Geno Smith from offseason work. Jets OC Frank Reich believes Mitchell can be a perfect complement for the team opposite of Garrett Wilson. From a fantasy perspective, there's more value here with Mitchell than some would think. Consider him as a WR7/deep flex play, and get the TUMS ready in what should be a tumultuous passing game.
Free-agent WR DeAndre Hopkins said he doesn't need to 'force' himself into a big role to be effective for a team. 'I know in my position, I'm a utility guy,' Hopkins said. 'I'm a special situation kind of guy. I can go out there and beat anybody one on one at any time, but as of lately, I've been a third-down guy.'
Footballguys view: Hopkins is in that part of his career where he's just going to bring what he can. No longer the dominant receiver of the past, Hopkins played 17 games last year for the Ravens but only grabbed 22 catches for 330 yards and two touchdowns. If/when injuries strike in training camp, Hopkins should get some attention on the free agent market.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase leads the NFL with 352 receptions and 4,335 receiving yards since the start of the 2023 season.
Footballguys view: Chase is arguably the best receiver in the league, and others may not have much of an argument. Through a 2025 season that saw him play with multiple quarterbacks, Chase still posted over 1,400 receiving yards. With a healthy Joe Burrow (hopefully) for the full season, Chase's numbers could get back near his 2024 totals (1,708 yards, 17 touchdowns). He's likely everyone's no.1 wide receiver in fantasy football.
Ja'Marr Chase player page
Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Wilson said extension talks are 'going great' and that he is hopeful to remain with the Cardinals moving forward. 'That being said, I also do love the Cardinals organization and I truly do want to be one of those guys that plays for one organization their whole career,' Wilson said. 'That is a goal of mine, and how cool would it be?'
Footballguys view: Earlier this offseason, Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort said Wilson "is about everything we want in our program to be about, and hopefully he is here for a long time." This year, Wilson is likely to play the "Z" receiver for HC Mike LaFleur. Giving Wilson clean releases makes him even more dangerous, and we like considering him as a flex play with plenty of upside.
