Link to storyLos Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert said he has been working on overhauling his footwork under the guidance of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. 'Mechanically, it's a little different timing, he wants the ball out early,' Herbert said. 'We feel like that is going to help us get the ball out quicker.'

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (Achilles) said that his recovery is on schedule and there is a chance that he will be ready for Week 1. He was able to do some running on the side during the voluntary workout Wednesday, June 3.

Free-agent RB Marcus Yarns (Saints) and WR Jalen Moreno-Cropper (Cowboys) will be working out for the Denver Broncos.
Link to storyFree-agent WR Jaden Smith (Buccaneers) signed with the Dallas Cowboys Wednesday, June 3. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Link to storyUpdating a previous report, New York Jets WR Da'Quan Felton (undisclosed) was released Wednesday, June 3, with an injury designation.
Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten said he is looking to improve his pass protection and receiving skills this offseason. Tuten also hopes to improve his field vision.
Footballguys view: After being drafted in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, strong performances in training camp and the preseason catapulted Tuten to RB2, behind Travis Etienne. With Etienne's departure, Tuten is primed to have a breakout year, even if head coach Liam Coen favors more of a rotation at running back, with both Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. taking regular snaps. Still, the more Tuten can do to stay on the field, the better his chances of handling a lead role become. The Jaguars' backfield will be one to watch closely this summer.
New York Jets WR Da'Quan Felton was waived Wednesday, June 3.
Link to storyIndianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce (ankle) is making progress in his recovery from ankle surgery and is still on track to be ready for training camp, according to head coach Shane Steichen.
Footballguys view: During GM Chris Ballard's pre-draft press conference, he mentioned that Pierce underwent offseason surgery on a lingering ankle injury, but added he should be back on the field for training camp. Steichen confirmed that "as of right now," that's still the case. Pierce, who's led the NFL in yards per catch the last two seasons, has become a well-rounded wideout, able to attack different levels of the field in a variety of ways. With Michael Pittman Jr. traded to the Steelers, Pierce is set to serve as the team's top downfield weapon. He's being drafted as WR33.
New England Patriots WR A.J. Brown said he has not been dealing with any knee injuries and is ready to take part in practice.
Footballguys view: Brown passed his physical and practiced with his new team for the first time on Tuesday. While he had minor cleanup surgery on both of his knees in 2021, Brown says they're fine. "Nothing to worry about. I'm good. I'm ready to go." Brown, who turns 29 this month, enters his eighth season unconcerned about the future. He was asked on Tuesday how much he thinks he still has left in his career. "You'll see," Brown said. We're believers. Brown has already moved inside the top-10 -- to WR7 -- on the Footballguys 2026 projections.

Free-agent PK Jason Sanders (Giants) agreed to terms with the New York Jets Wednesday, June 3, according to a source. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The team is also releasing PK Younghoe Koo.
Footballguys view: The Giants released Sanders, a former All-Pro, to clear a roster spot for Juju Smith-Schuster earlier this week. Sanders, formerly of the Miami Dolphins, was by far the most experienced kicker under contract with the Giants. The 30-year-old Sanders has made 84.6% of his NFL field goal attempts. That includes 90.2% in the 2024 season, when he was 12-for-14 from 50-plus yards.

Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (shoulder) will only participate in individual drills during the mandatory minicamp this week, according to head coach Jeff Hafley.
Footballguys view: Achane had cleanup surgery on his shoulder after the season and should be ready for training camp, so going easy on him at this point makes sense. The Dolphins signed Achane to a four-year, $64 million contract extension this month. It's unlikely they would have made that commitment if they weren't confident in his long-term health, so he should be moving full speed ahead soon enough. We'll continue to monitor this situation.
New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte has shown interest in a trade this offseason, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Footballguys view: This news comes as no surprise with A.J. Brown now on the roster. Boutte, who has been skipping recent voluntary workouts, is entering the final year of his rookie deal. The presence of Brown and free agent acquisition Romeo Doubs would seem to lower the odds of the Patriots making another long-term investment in a wideout, while also working against Boutte having a big year in New England that might make him attractive as a free agent. Whether that results in a move or not will be something to watch as Week 1 draws closer.

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots TE Julian Hill (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list because of a knee injury he suffered during one of the voluntary workouts, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
Link to storyMiami Dolphins third-round draft choice TE Will Kacmarek signed a four-year contract with the Dolphins Tuesday, June 2. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Link to storyMiami Dolphins third-round draft choice WR Caleb Douglas signed a four-year contract with the Dolphins Tuesday, June 2. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: As noted in the 2026 Footballguys Rookie Guide, Douglas brings length and fluidity, with the versatility to play outside and stretch the field or inside as a big slot. Douglas is underrated in the 2026 class and has traits that could round out most receiver rooms. Dynasty managers in rookie drafts should consider the early offensive opportunity in Miami, even if you don't like the player.
Miami Dolphins fifth-round draft choice WR Kevin Coleman Jr. signed a four-year contract with the Dolphins Tuesday, June 2. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: According to Footballguy Sigmund Bloom, Coleman projects as the most reliable wide receiver in a low-volume pass offense, which isn't worth chasing in rookie drafts. But given the dearth of high-end talent currently on the roster, Coleman is worth rostering in deep dynasty leagues.
Miami Dolphins third-round draft choice WR Chris Bell signed a four-year contract with the Dolphins Tuesday, June 2. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: As Footballguy Sigmund Bloom recently suggested, Bell landed in the perfect spot. The Dolphins are in rebuilding mode and won't rush him back from his 2025 ACL tear. When Bell is ready to play, his strengths will mesh well with Malik Willis'. Once he's ready, Bell will compete with Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, and Tutu Atwell, along with rookies Caleb Douglas and Kevin Coleman, for playing time. Bell is an eventual WR1 candidate for Miami.
Cleveland Browns RB Quinshon Judkins (ankle, leg) is participating in team drills during the voluntary workout Wednesday, June 3.
Footballguys view: Working in full-team drills is a step up from the individual drills Judkins was limited to last month. Judkins dislocated his ankle and fractured his fibula in Week 16 and missed the final two games last season. Judkins had 827 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games last season. An upgraded offensive line and a new, offensive-minded head coach in Todd Monken could benefit Judkins this season. He's currently being drafted as RB22.
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara is present for the voluntary workout Wednesday, June 3, according to head coach Kellen Moore.
Footballguys view: As Profootballtalk.com reminded readers, Kamara's status with the team has been in question this offseason, with general manager Mickey Loomis saying last month that the club is trying to figure out how the running back fits on the roster. But Kamara has maintained he'd like to stick with New Orleans, and his arrival on Wednesday lends credence to that notion. For what it's worth, Kamara was only participating in individual drills during Wednesday's session. We'll continue to monitor, but free-agent addition Travis Etienne Jr. is expected to be the lead back, whether Kamara is on the roster or not.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Tanner McKee received trade interest from the New York Jets, but they were told he'd cost a second-round pick.
Footballguys view: McKee is a free agent after the season, and the Eagles did select Cole Payton in the fifth round of this year's draft. As SI.com's Jeff Kerr notes, the Eagles also have Andy Dalton on the roster, and he could serve as the QB2 this year if they do trade McKee this summer, giving him some reps with the second team. If the Eagles don't find a trade partner for McKee, then he's the QB2 at the start of the season. This summer is going to be interesting to see how the depth chart unfolds.

Arizona Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur said WR Marvin Harrison will play the X receiver, with WR Michael Wilson as the Z receiver.
Footballguys view: LaFleur compared the role Harrison would play to the one Davante Adams handles for the Rams (where LaFleur was the offensive coordinator) and the one Julio Jones handles for the Falcons (where LaFleur was an offensive assistant). LaFleur compared the Z receiver Wilson will handle to Puka Nacua's role with the Rams. That receiver plays closer to the offensive formation and has more responsibilities as a blocker in the running game. Like Nacua, Wilson is unafraid of getting his hands dirty as a blocker. We'll be watching how this all plays out when the Cardinals open training camp next month.

Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London and the Falcons have reportedly agreed to a four-year contract extension, according to a source on Tuesday, June 2.
Footballguys view: According to London's agent, Andrew Kessler, it's a $141 million extension worth up to $150 million, including $100 million guaranteed. London will earn $35.25 million per year. It makes London the third-highest paid receiver in the league, with the highest average per year in the Falcons. Across his four NFL seasons so far, he's averaging 77.3 receptions for 990.3 yards and 5.5 touchdowns per year, having led the Falcons in receptions and receiving yards in his first three campaigns before missing five games in 2025. He's being drafted as WR7 with the 17th pick overall.
Philadelphia Eagles WR Makai Lemon is dealing with a hamstring injury and could potentially miss next week's minicamp, according to a source on Tuesday, June 2.

Free agent wide receiver Jalen Reagor (Chargers) signed with the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday, June 2. No terms of the deal were disclosed.
Footballguys view: Reagor is best known for being taken over Justin Jefferson by the Eagles in the 2020 draft. He was traded to the Vikings after only two years in Philadelphia and hasn't caught more than 10 passes in a season since then. Last year, Reagor was briefly on the Chargers practice squad. Normally, we'd say that he's unlikely to make the roster, but given the state of the Dolphins depth chart at wide receiver, you never know.
Jalen Reagor player page
Free agent RB Elijah Mitchell (Patriots) signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday, June 2. No terms of the deal were disclosed.
Footballguys view: Mitchell almost had 1000 yards as a rookie with the 49ers in 2021, but hasn't had a carry in an NFL game since 2023 because of injury issues. Speed is his calling card, and he is a good fit in the zone running game the Eagles are installing, so he could be a veteran practice squad candidate, or even make the team if injuries strike the Eagles backfield in camp or the preseason.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs was at the team's practice during OTAs on Tuesday, June 2.
Footballguys view: Jacobs was arrested on May 26 after police responded to an alleged domestic violence incident a few days earlier. He missed practice time as those matters played out, but it does not sound like there will be any limitations on his participation this week. Coach Matt LaFleur told reporters that it is "business as usual" for the veteran back. Prosecutors said last week there has been no decision about formally filing criminal charges against Jacobs. We'll continue to watch for more.

That includes 90.2% in the 2024 season, when he was 12-for-14 from 50-plus yards. Ben Sauls and Dominic Zvada are the remaining kickers on the roster. |

New England Patriots WR A.J. Brown is expected to practice Tuesday, June 2, one day after being acquired via trade, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
Footballguys view: Vrabel confirmed that Brown passed his physical, the prerequisite for hitting the field with his new teammates. Vrabel, who previously coached Brown in Tennessee, said he's excited about Brown showing what he can do. "He loves football. He has a physical skill set. I think he has great body control and can be strong at the catch point," Vrabel said. "He's been a productive, consistent player." The Patriots will get their first look at that skill set on the practice field today.

Miami Dolphins QB Malik Willis is working on building chemistry with the team's wide receivers in organized team activities, according to head coach Jeff Hafley.
Footballguys view: "It's going to take a lot of reps, just like it would with any quarterback and wide receiver group," Hafley said of the situation. "It's going to take time [to find] the rhythm." Asked if any wideout stood out in their work with Willis, Hafley singled out Malik Washington and Jalen Tolbert. Still, the bigger picture issue is this: The Dolphins need Willis to play at a high level for any of this to work -- and for fantasy investors to cash in on the QB's rushing upside. We'll be watching his progress closely this summer.
Tennessee Titans RB Nick Singleton (foot) is making progress in his recovery from a Jones fracture in his foot, according to head coach Robert Saleh.
Footballguys view: The Titans took a bit of a risk when they picked Singleton in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. The star running back suffered the injury during Senior Bowl week and was unable to participate in any of the pre-draft workouts. Singleton's return will add another back to what has become a crowded backfield this offseason. The Titans have Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Kalel Mullings, and Julius Chestnut returning, and added Singleton and veteran Michael Carter during the offseason in hopes of improving their dismal 30th-ranked rushing attack in 2026.
Washington Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt attended the voluntary workouts last week but did not participate in drills.
Footballguys view: It's unclear if Croskey-Merritt is dealing with an injury. As CBSSports.com notes, his next opportunity to take part in team drills will arrive during mandatory minicamp June 16-18, and then during training camp in July. Croskey-Merritt suited up for all 17 regular-season games as a rookie, totaling 175 carries for 805 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had nine catches for 68 yards on 13 targets. Free-agent addition Rachaad White will provide Croskey-Merritt with competition for touches, especially in the receiving game. The Commanders have Jerome Ford, Jeremy McNichols, and rookie sixth-rounder Kaytron Allen on the depth chart.
New York Giants WR Gunner Olszewski (Achilles) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, June 1.
Footballguys view: The kick and punt returner tore his Achilles during OTAs on Friday and will now have to miss the 2026 campaign. Olszewski was in line to retain the returner role he played for New York in 2025. Newly signed receiver Braxton Berrios can pick up some of that return work.
Gunner Olszewski player page
New England Patriots TE Julian Hill (undisclosed) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, June 1.
Footballguys view: The Patriots officially acquired wide receiver A.J. Brown in a trade with the Eagles on Monday afternoon. They needed to make a corresponding move, and they did, placing Hill on injured reserve. Hill cannot play this season unless the Patriots were to release him, which is unlikely. His injury is undisclosed. The Patriots were counting on Hill to replace Austin Hooper, who left for the Falcons in free agency. Instead, third-round rookie Eli Raridon will have a bigger opportunity.
New York Jets PK Lenny Kreig was waived and LB Kobe King was waived with a waived-injured designation, according to a source on Monday, June 1.
Link to storyUpdating a previous report, free-agent WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (Chiefs) signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants Monday, June 1. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown was traded to the New England Patriots Monday, June 1, in exchange for a 2028 first-round draft choice and a 2027 fifth-round draft choice, according to sources.
Footballguys view: The Eagles have planned for Brown's departure all offseason, trading up in the first round of this year's draft for USC receiver Makai Lemon while also trading for Green Bay Packers receiver Dontayvion Wicks and signing Marquise Brown and Elijah Moore as free agents. Smith's current ADP, he's WR15 being drafted with the 36th pick overall, is high enough to believe this trade is already factored in. We should add Smith to the list of fantasy WR2 prospects capable of WR1 finishes with Brown out of the picture.

Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown was acquired by the New England Patriots Monday, June 1, in exchange for a 2028 first-round draft choice and a 2027 fifth-round draft choice, according to sources.
Footballguys view: The trade, which has been discussed and anticipated across the NFL for months, reunites Brown and Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel. Brown, who turns 29 on June 30, gives Patriots quarterback Drake Maye a No. 1 target as part of a revamped top of the receiver depth chart alongside free agent signing Romeo Doubs. Brown's current WR13 ADP seemingly takes this trade into account. But working alongside Maye, it's not a reach to believe Brown can deliver WR1 production.

Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor did not participate in the voluntary workout Monday, June 1.
Footballguys view: While nobody seems concerned about this absence, head coach Shane Steichen acknowledged after practice that it's a fair question to debate whether the Colts need to scale back the NFL-leading 323 carries for Taylor from last season. If that's going to happen, and the Colts don't make any other running back moves, those reserve roles will go to some youth on the roster. But both former draft picks D.J. Giddens and Seth McGowan flashed a bit on Monday in Taylor's absence.

Houston Texans WR Jayden Higgins has looked bigger and faster this offseason, and head coach DeMeco Ryans said he expects a terrific season from Higgins in 2026.
Footballguys view: Higgins quickly emerged as a solid No. 2 option in the passing game opposite Pro Bowler Nico Collins last season. The Texans' top pick in the second round, Higgins finished with 41 catches for 525 yards and tied Collins for the team lead with six scores while averaging 12.8 yards per catch. " I know he's going to have a really good year based on how he looks right now," Ryan said. "He's ready to roll." Higgins, being drafted as WR56 this year, has great upside at that price.
