Dallas Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 19, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.
Footballguys view: After incredible usage to start the season, Ferguson's targets have begun to decline. Ferguson averaged 9.6 targets per game through the first five weeks but that number has fallen to 5.1 over the following nine games. Ferguson is still in the streaming conversation, but he is far from the must-start TE1 he was earlier in the year.
Dallas Cowboys CB DaRon Bland (foot) may need surgery on his left foot, according to sources. Bland is seeking a second opinion and no surgery is currently scheduled.

Dallas Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Footballguys view: He should be good to go against the Chargers in Week 16. Ferguson caught 2-of-4 targets for 16 yards in the Cowboys' Week 15 loss to the Vikings. He's not as hot as he was for Fantasy GMs earlier this year, but Ferguson can be considered a mid-range TE2.
Dallas Cowboys RB Javonte Williams (neck) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Footballguys view: Neck injuries are always tricky to deal with. Williams was banged up in Week 15, but it seems like he's on track for Week 16 against the Chargers.

Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (illness) did not practice on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Footballguys view: It's an illness, so we expect Lamb out there during practice at some point later in the week. Against the Chargers in Week 16, Lamb should produce at his usual WR1 level for Fantasy GMs out there.

Link to storyDallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) cleared the concussion protocol and will face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15.
Footballguys view: After sustaining a concussion last Thursday, Lamb benefited from the extra time needed to clear the league's protocol before Sunday night's game. Any concerns about late-breaking news before Sunday's early kickoffs can be put to rest. He's fully expected to play and profiles as a WR1 against the Vikings.

Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 11.
Footballguys view: A full practice is a great sign for Lamb's availability. As he's worked through the concussion protocol, Lamb has been symptom free and that's why 'full' is his status on Thursday. He's a WR1 for Fantasy GMs.

Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) practiced on Thursday, Dec. 11.
Footballguys view: Good news for the Cowboys, but it doesn't clear Lamb just yet. He's working through the concussion protocol, so Friday's injury report will tell us if he passed. He suffered this concussion last Thursday night, so we're a week from the injury and Lamb is trending in the right direction.

George Pickens' effort in last week's Dallas Cowboys loss to the Detroit Lions was a big talking point. Over the extended layoff, coach Brian Schottenheimer spoke with Pickens about the situation, but said he wasn't making a mountain out of a mole hill. "We talked a little bit about it," Schottenheimer said Monday. "In his words, he said, 'Hey Schotty, I didn't play my best game.' I think that, unfortunately, none of us played our best game. But again, I don't worry about George and his love for football and playing this game."
Footballguys view: Pickens generated five catches for 37 yards in the 44-30 loss in Detroit. The struggles were particularly notable after CeeDee Lamb left the contest with a concussion. After three roller-coaster seasons in Pittsburgh, which included questions similar to those that arose last week, Pickens has turned things around in Dallas, generating 78 catches, 1,179 yards, and eight touchdowns through 13 games -- all career highs. Schottenheimer isn't worried about last week's struggles bleeding into the rest of the season for the wideout, and fantasy investors should take that same approach in Week 15.
Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) is progressing nicely through the concussion protocol, according to head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
Footballguys view: In addition to Schottenheimer's positive comments, Lamb offered a positive update on his status in an Instagram post. "Blessed in an understatement. Love yall," Lamb wrote. That said, Lamb must work his way through the protocol with the Dallas medical staff evaluating the All-Pro receiver over the coming week. The long turnaround from a Thursday kickoff will work in his favor. On the off chance Lamb, who has 57 catches, 895 yards, and three touchdowns this season, isn't ready to play the Vikings this week, George Pickens, Jake Ferguson, Ryan Flournoy, and KaVontae Turpin will be standing by.
