Link to storyDallas Cowboys RB Jaydon Blue could see some snaps in Week 18, according to owner/general manager Jerry Jones.
Footballguys view: Heading into the finale, Blue is running out of time to impress the coaching staff. As SI.com noted, there was no shortage of excitement when the Cowboys drafted Blue. The explosive back not only played a position of need, but also offered sub-4.4 speed, which has been another need. That excitement waned as Blue failed to see the field early in the season. He eventually got a shot when Miles Sanders was injured, but managed just 65 yards on 22 carries before being surpassed by Malik Davis. We'll see if Blue gets some chances to change the perception.
Dallas Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs was waived on Tuesday, Dec. 30. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, he will become a free agent.
Footballguys view: Diggs will become a free agent if he goes unclaimed and would not need to wait until March to sign with another team if he remains a free agent through the end of the regular season. Diggs played in the first six games of the season before landing on injured reserve. He suffered a concussion while at home and also continued recovering from knee issues that limited him to 13 games over the two previous seasons. He returned to play in the last two games.

Dallas Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) has not been ruled out of the Week 18 game at this time, according to head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
Footballguys view: To be clear, Schottenheimer said if players are healthy, they will play Sunday. It remains to be seen if Ferguson will be healthy enough to hit the field against the Giants. Luke Schoonmaker and Brevyn Spann-Ford are next men up at the position if Ferguson isn't available. We'll monitor this one throughout the week.
Dallas Cowboys RB Javonte Williams (shoulder) has not been ruled out of the Week 18 game at this time, according to head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
Footballguys view: Williams was able to max out all of his contract incentives for the year in Week 17, but he couldn't finish the game due to his nagging shoulder injury. By keeping him sidelined for the Week 18 finale against the Giants, Williams will be a free agent after the season, so getting a longer look at Malik Davis, who recorded 103 yards on Christmas Day, might be wise, especially after rookies Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah failed to make an impact. We'll be watching for more.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will play in the Week 18 game, according to head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
Footballguys view: The Cowboys enter Week 18 with nothing to play for but pride and NFL draft position. Still, Prescott has been adamant that he wants to finish out the season on the field. On Monday, Schottenheimer made it clear that the plan for Prescott is unchanged. Although the coach did not completely close the door on backup quarterback Joe Milton III suiting up against the Giants, Prescott will get the start. Entering the finale, Prescott leads the league in passing and has an opportunity to finish as the league's passing yards leader for the first time in his professional career.

Dallas Cowboys impending free-agent LB Jadeveon Clowney said that he intends to play in 2026 and has interest in returning to the team next season.

Dallas Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) caught one pass for six yards against the Washington Commanders in Week 17 before leaving the game because of a calf injury. He was targeted two times.
Footballguys view: Ferguson was injured in the third quarter and did not return. There was a time earlier this year when Ferguson was on a hot streak. However, after his two-touchdown game against the Commanders in Week 7 his production fell off.
Dallas Cowboys TE Luke Schoonmaker caught two passes for 15 yards against the Washington Commanders in Week 17. He was targeted two times during the game.

Dallas Cowboys WR Jalen Tolbert caught four passes for 31 yards against the Washington Commanders in Week 17. He was targeted eight times during the game.
Link to storyDallas Cowboys TE Brevyn Spann-Ford caught one pass for 31 yards against the Washington Commanders in Week 17. He was targeted two times during the game.
Link to storyDallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb caught five passes for 46 yards against the Washington Commanders in Week 17. He was targeted 10 times during the game.
Footballguys view: Lamb and Prescott didn't seem like they were on the same page. The Cowboys were able to control this game on the ground, so the passing game was not as robust as some Fantasy GMs may have wanted in this Christmas Day matchup.

Dallas Cowboys WR George Pickens caught four passes for 78 yards against the Washington Commanders in Week 17.
Footballguys view: Pickens did enough, but the game script called for the Cowboys to win mostly on the ground. He was targeted five times during the game.
Dallas Cowboys WR KaVontae Turpin caught one pass for 86 yards and one touchdown against the Washington Commanders in Week 17. He was targeted one time during the game.
Link to storyDallas Cowboys FB Hunter Luepke rushed for 30 yards on seven carries against the Washington Commanders in Week 17. He also caught one pass for 14 yards during the game.
Link to storyDallas Cowboys RB Javonte Williams (shoulder) rushed for 54 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries against the Washington Commanders in Week 17 before leaving the game because of a shoulder injury.
Footballguys view: Williams was running hard early in the game against the Commanders. A shoulder injury opened the door for Malik Davis to have a big day on Christmas.

Dallas Cowboys RB Malik Davis rushed for 103 yards on 20 carries against the Washington Commanders in Week 17.
Footballguys view: Javonte Williams injured his shoulder in the second quarter, and Davis was given the featured role. The plan was to run all day on the Commanders, and Davis provided the juice. Let's see what Williams looks like next week in practice, but obviously Davis is quite capable of a larger workload.
Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott went 19-for-37 for 307 yards and two touchdowns against the Washington Commanders in Week 17. He also rushed for 24 yards on four carries during the game.

Link to storyDallas Cowboys CB Shavon Revel Jr. had a team-high nine tackles (eight solo) and a pass defensed versus the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16.
Link to storyDallas Cowboys WR KaVontae Turpin caught two of four targets for 14 yards and carried two times for 13 yards in a 34-17 loss in Week 16 to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Link to storyDallas Cowboys RB Malik Davis carried eight times for 23 yards in a 34-17 loss in Week 16 to the Los Angeles Chargers. He added nine yards on two receptions.
Link to storyDallas Cowboys WR Ryan Flournoy caught both targets for 13 yards and a touchdown in a 34-17 loss in Week 16 to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Link to storyDallas Cowboys WR George Pickens caught seven of nine targets for 130 yards and a touchdown in a 34-17 loss in Week 16 to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Footballguys view: Pickens was a liability two weeks ago and quiet for fantasy against the Vikings in Week 15, but he made multiple big plays downfield and atoned for his recent poor fantasy performances. #3 receiver Ryan Flournoy went down with a knee injury in this game, so Pickens target share should remain high in a great matchup against Washington on Christmas.
Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb caught six of seven targets for 51 yards in a 34-17 loss in Week 16 to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Footballguys view: Lamb was overshadowed by George Pickens and only had modest gains on his receptions. He has a much better outlook in Week 17 against Washington on Christmas day if fantasy teams were able to survive this disappointing performance.

Dallas Cowboys RB Javonte Williams carried nine times for 34 yards in a 34-17 loss in Week 16 to the Los Angeles Chargers. He added nine yards on two receptions.
Footballguys view: The Cowboys running game was abandoned in the second half and Dallas used Malik Davis more than they had been in previous weeks - possibly to lighten the load for Williams after he suffered a shoulder stinger last week. Williams is still a solid RB2 on Christmas against a Washington defense that should give up a lot of points and yards.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 21-of-30 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-17 loss in Week 16 to the Los Angeles Chargers. He added 14 yards on two carries.
Footballguys view: Both touchdowns came in the first half, and Prescott also threw a touchdown to Ryan Flournoy that was wiped off of the board by a holding penalty. The Cowboys offense fell apart in the second half, but Prescott still did enough to be a solid QB1 start against one of the hottest defenses in the league. He'll be a high ceiling QB1 on Christmas against the porous Washington defense.

Dallas Cowboys WR Ryan Flournoy (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 16 game and has been ruled out.
Footballguys view: Flournoy scored earlier in game and had a second touchdown wiped off of the board by a holding penalty. He was injured on a play that drew a personal foul on helmet-to-helmet contact when he was sitting on the turf after a catch. He's still a great dynasty offseason stash as the #3 receiver in a great pass offense who made great strides in his second season. Dak Prescott's targets should be even more concentrated on George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb now.
