Free-agent LB Germaine Pratt (Bengals) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders Wednesday, June 11, worth $4.25 million, according to a source. Pratt can make another $500,000 with playtime incentives.

Pittsburgh Steelers LB T.J. Watt is not attending the team's minicamp Tuesday, June 10.
Footballguys view: Watt is seeking a new contract as he enters the final year of an extension he signed in 2021, with a base salary of $21.05 million. Watt currently sits as the seventh-highest-paid edge rusher in average annual salary at $28.003 million. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, talks with Watt haven't progressed in Pittsburgh. But when it's struck, a new deal should come in well above that for one of the NFL's best pass rushers. Watt has finished with double-digit sacks in six of the past seven seasons -- with only the injury-shortened 2022 season as the outlier. |

Dallas Cowboys EDGE Micah Parsons announced on social media that he'll be at minicamp next week. A long-term deal is not done, but Parsons indicated he would report and prepare like he's going to be there for the first day of training camp.
Footballguys view: Parsons did not indicate whether he would participate in the minicamp, and it seems unlikely he does any on-field work. As for training camp, Parson said that he will join the team in Oxnard, California, in July only if he has signed a contract extension by then. That was the expectation, with the four-time Pro Bowl still awaiting an extension. Parsons, 25, became eligible for an extension after the 2023 season, and he's expected eventually to get an extension that will top Ja'Marr Chase's annual average of $40.25 million, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the league. |

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots LB Jahlani Tavai (calf) suffered a calf injury on Monday, June 2, that is expected to keep him sidelined until training camp, according to sources.
Footballguys view: When Tavai had to exit practice on Monday, reporters noted that it looked like a potentially significant injury. So this latest report is good news. As pointed out by Mike Reiss of ESPN, Tavai had been in the mix at inside linebacker during the offseason program, though free-agent signee Robert Spillane has been leading the charge. |

New England Patriots LB Jahlani Tavai (leg) suffered an apparent right leg injury during practice on Monday, June 2. Tavai remained on the field 'for an extended period of time' and could put only 'limited pressure' on his leg once he was helped to his feet, according to ESPN.com's Mike Reiss.

Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins LB Jaelan Phillips (knee) did not participate in team drills during practice Wednesday, May 28.
Footballguys view: Phillips is a talented, but oft-injured player so the team should exercise caution during offseason workouts. A knee injury in the first month of the season ended his 2024 campaign, and he suffered an Achilles' injury late in the 2023 season. The former first-round pick has not played a full season since 2022, and this year is the final year of his rookie contract. |

Dallas Cowboys LB DeMarvion Overshown (knee) is reportedly targeting a late-November return from a major knee injury. He has already resumed light jogging and is hopeful of being able to play versus the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day.

Pittsburgh Steelers LB Cole Holcomb (knee) participated in offseason workouts this week.

Free-agent DE Von Miller (Bills) told 9News' Mike Klis that he is 'definitely' playing in 2025.
Footballguys view: Miller is not the same player he used to be, but some team might want him later in the year to provide veteran pass-rushing help. Even though some Broncos fans want him to return, Miller himself even admitted recently that there's no room for a player like him in Denver anymore. Miller will have to continue playing the waiting game. |

Pittsburgh Steelers LB T.J. Watt did not participate in organized team activities on Tuesday, May 27.
Footballguys view: OTAs are voluntary, but rumors suggest Watt could replicate his infamous 2021 "hold-in" when he skipped team practices in a move that ultimately earned him a $112 million deal. As USA Today noted, several analysts and insiders have predicted that Watt is looking to surpass Myles Garrett's historical four-year, $160 million extension with the Cleveland Browns -- with an emphasis on beating out his $123.5 million in guaranteed money. It's a situation to monitor. |

Buffalo Bills EDGE Joey Bosa (calf) suffered a calf injury last week and will miss spring workouts. The hope is he'll be ready by training camp.
Footballguys view: Injuries were a concern when Bosa signed a one-year deal with the Bills this spring. The pass rusher, who will turn 30 in July, has dealt with multiple injuries in the last couple years. Over the last three seasons he has played in 28 of 51 games. We'll be watching for more. |

Denver Broncos LB Alex Singleton (knee) may be a limited participant during offseason workouts because he is not fully recovered from the torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered during the 2024 season.
Footballguys view: Singleton missed the final 15 games last season with that ACL injury. But his recovery is on schedule, and a cautious approach during OTAs makes sense. |

Denver Broncos LB Dre Greenlaw (calf, quadriceps) will not participate in offseason workouts or minicamp but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Footballguys view: Greenlaw missed most of last year because of a torn Achilles suffered in the 2023-season Super Bowl, and there have been injury issues since. Last year, he had a strained calf; he suffered a strained quad early during this offseason. This report further confirms what head coach Sean Payton told reporters in May: Greenlaw will be ready for training camp and the start of the season. |

San Francisco 49ers LB Fred Warner agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension with the 49ers Monday, May 19, worth $63 million. The deal includes $56.7 million in guaranteed money.
Footballguys view: After completing lucrative contract extensions with quarterback Brock Purdy and tight end George Kittle in recent weeks, the 49ers had one more key player to take care of to wrap up their most pressing offseason business. While Purdy's deal represented the largest deal in team history (five years for $265 million, including $181 million in overall guaranteed money) and the biggest raise the Niners have ever handed out, Warner's extension always figured to be a bit easier because he had two years remaining on the five-year, $95 million deal he signed in 2021. With Warner, 28, Purdy, and Kittle signed before the on-field portion of organized team activities begin, the 49ers can rest easy from a business standpoint as they head toward training camp. |

Cleveland Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (neck) will be placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list on Monday, May 12, and will remain there throughout the completion of the 2025 season.
Footballguys view: A second-round pick out of Notre Dame in the 2021 draft, Owusu-Koramoah was named to his first Pro Bowl after recording a career-high 101 tackles in the 2023 season. The Browns signed him to a three-year extension worth up to $39 million last August. Last month, the Browns drafted former UCLA linebacker Carson Schwesinger with the 33rd pick. This offseason, Cleveland re-signed linebacker Devin Bush to a one-year deal and signed veteran linebacker Jerome Baker to a one-year contract. |

Denver Broncos LB Alex Singleton (knee) said he is on track in his recovery from knee injury and believe he will be ready to play Week 1.
Footballguys view: Singleton played 190 defensive snaps last season, with 49 coming after he tore an anterior cruciate ligament. Singleton injured his knee on the eighth play of the Week 3 win over the Buccaneers on Sept. 22. He didn't miss a snap in the game, but the injury did end the rest of his season. But Singleton, LB20 on the Footballguys Projections, has worked with the Broncos' vice president of player health and performance, Beau Lowery, every day since his surgery on Oct. 15. He posted a video to his Instagram of him running full speed. "Let's just say we're in a really good spot," Singleton said. "You get three more months. Three more. So we're good." |

Cleveland Browns LB Devin Bush was arrested Sunday, May 4, for simple assault and harassment by Bell Acres Police in Pennsylvania.
Footballguys view: In his first season in Cleveland in 2024, Bush started 10 games and totaled 76 tackles, which ranked fourth on the team. In March, the Browns re-signed Bush to a one-year, $3.25 million deal. We'll follow up on this situation as developments warrant. |
