Buffalo Bills WR Keon Coleman said he considers the 2026 season to be a make-or-break season for him and will have to perform in order to remain with the team.
Footballguys view: The 33rd pick in the 2024 NFL draft is coming off a tough 2025 season. Coleman, 23, was disciplined by former coach Sean McDermott in November for being late to a meeting. He was then inactive for three more games during the season. Coleman was also benched for a quarter of a game during his rookie season because of off-field issues. He finished the 2025 season with only one game over 100 receiving yards (Week 1) and four regular-season touchdowns. Coleman's realistic view of where he stands is a great starting point. Hopefully, he builds on it.
Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid underwent a proper offseason regimen, has added 10-to-12 pounds of muscle and his knee feels better after a torn PCL and hamstring issues, according to Nick Sabato of the Niagara Gazette on Tuesday, May 19.
Footballguys view: Kincaid has dealt with a nagging knee injury dating back to the 2024 season, which has led to nine games missed over the past two years, but he still decided to forego surgery. On Tuesday, he explained the expert advice he received that led him to continue to strengthen and rehab the injury instead of going under the knife. With Kincaid on point and new faces such as free-agent addition DJ Moore and fourth-round pick Skyler Bell in tow, the Bills' passing game appears much improved in the early going of the offseason.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen is participating in offseason workouts after undergoing surgery at the end of January to remove a bone chip in his right foot, according to a source on Tuesday, May 19.
Footballguys view: "You guys know Josh," head coach Joe Brady said, via Sal Capaccio of WGR 550. "He's good to go." Allen suffered the injury in the Week 16 game against the Browns, but didn't miss any games due to the issue. Allen's presence will give him plenty of time to get to know the new wide receiver, DJ Moore. The Bills traded a second-round pick to the Bears for Moore, who is Buffalo's new No. 1 receiver. To review: Fully healthy and with an additional weapon, Allen's QB1 ADP isn't changing any time soon.

Buffalo Bills RB James Cook was not at the team's OTAs on Tuesday, May 19. This was a voluntary session for the team.
Footballguys view: There's no reporting -- or even speculation -- on the reason for today's absence. So there's no need to get too far in front of this. We'll watch for more and report back as needed. Cook, who got a contract extension last season, has rushed for 1,000 yards in three straight seasons, including a career-best 1,621 in 2025 for his first-ever rushing title. He also posted a 2024 campaign where he was one of only three players with 18 or more touchdowns, as his 16 rushing scores tied for the most in the league. We'll follow up as needed.
The Buffalo Bills signed WR Skyler Bell and LB Kaleb Elarms-Orr to four-year rookie contracts. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Link to storyFree agent TE Shane Zylstra (Lions) signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday, May 12. In a corresponding move, the team released K Maddux Trujillo.
Footballguys view: Zylstra has appeared in 35 games with six starts in his career, all for the Lions. He's caught 18 passes for 136 yards with four touchdowns. Primarily a blocker, Zylstra joins a depth chart with Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox, and Jackson Hawes ahead of him.

Buffalo Bills WR Skyler Bell was selected 125th in the 2026 NFL Draft, but he could begin the season as the fourth option on the depth chart, with WR Keon Coleman falling out of favor.
Footballguys view: As SI.com suggested, the Bills let quarterback Josh Allen down last season when it came to providing him with passing-game weapons. In an attempt to course-correct, they traded for DJ Moore and drafted Bell. With Keon Coleman on the outs, Bell could be in line for opportunities to impact the offense. The former UConn weapon posted 104 receptions for the Huskies in 2025, fourth-most among eligible FBS wideouts.
Buffalo Bills second-round draft choice CB Davison Igbinosun signed a four-year contract with the Bills Friday, May 8. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Link to storyUpdating previous reports, undrafted free-agent FB Jackson Acker (Wisconsin), WR Gabriel Benyari (Kennesaw State), WR Ja'Mori Maclin (Kentucky), RB Desmond Reid (Pitt) and WR Max Tomczak (Youngstown State) officially signed with the Buffalo Bills Friday, May 8. Buffalo Bills fourth-round draft pick WR Skyler Bell could contribute right away, according to multiple scouts.
Footballguys view: In 2025, Bell set a UCONN record for receptions (101) and receiving touchdowns (13) in a single season. He's a big-play threat anytime he runs a route, and the Bills can find ways to get the rookie on the field. Bell enters a WR room in Buffalo featuring DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Josh Palmer, and Keon Coleman. That's a group of guys he can compete with and move up the depth chart if he develops his skills to the pro game.
Free-agent FB Ben VanSumeren (Eagles) signed a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills Wednesday, April 29. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Link to storyBuffalo Bills WR Keon Coleman has received trade interest this offseason, but general manager Brandon Beane said the team is not interested in trading Coleman.
Footballguys view: Coleman has had two inconsistent seasons with the Bills. He was disciplined last November for being late to a meeting and was a healthy scratch for four games. By the end of 2025, Coleman was Buffalo's sixth wide receiver. He had 38 catches for 404 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games this past season. Even if he's sticking around, the team used a fourth-round pick this year on UConn wide receiver Skyler Bell to add to a receiver room that also includes DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, and Joshua Palmer.
Youngstown State WR Max Tomczak signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent.
Link to storyFree-agent WR Jermaine Burton (Bengals), a former third-round draft pick in 2024 by the Cincinnati Bengals, will take part in the Buffalo Bills' rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, according to sources.
Footballguys view: We know Burton can play - he was roasting corners in the SEC at Georgia and Alabama in college - but what we don't know is whether he can be disciplined enough to make it in the NFL. The team that drafted him gave us their answer, but a fresh start back at square one could be just the clean slate Burton needs to turn his career around.

The guy could barely walk, and then he's playing games and it's not impacting (his play). He's built different.'
