Bills | Joshua Palmer limited in practice on Tuesday Tue Nov 18, 03:48 PM
Buffalo Bills WR Joshua Palmer (knee, ankle) was limited in practice on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Footballguys view: Palmer has been limited in both of the Bills' first two practices ahead of Thursday's game against the Texans. Without reporting indicating a setback after playing 28 snaps in Sunday's 44-32 win over the Buccaneers, we suspect his limited work is just maintenance on a short week. The official injury report for Thursday night's game will be released on Wednesday.

Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) will not practice on Tuesday, Nov. 18, according to head coach Sean McDermott
Footballguys view: With a Thursday night game against the Texans, Kincaid needs to get in some work on Wednesday to have a shot at playing. Will he? The Bills' offense got by just fine without its star tight end in Week 11, as Buffalo dropped 44 points and 414 yards of total offense on the Bucs. However, we know full well that the Bills need Kincaid to be healthy, as he's arguably their best pass-catcher, along with wide receiver Khalil Shakir. At this point, it seems unlikely Kincaid will be forced into the fray.

Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) will not participate in the team's walkthrough Monday, Nov. 17, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Footballguys view: Kincaid still has two more days to return to practice, but with the Bills on a short week, it's increasingly unlikely he plays against the Houston Texans. Kincaid was initially labeled as week-to-week by McDermott, so it won't be surprising at all if he misses another game. We'll be following up through resolution.

Link to storyBuffalo Bills RB James Cook rushed 16 times for 48 yards and caught three passes for 66 yards and a 25-yard touchdown in a Week 11 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Footballguys view: The Bucs run defense has been good save for a few lapses against TreVeyon Henderson and Jahmyr Gibbs, so it's wasn't a big surprise to see them bottle up Cook. Josh Allen still found him as a receiver against a weary Bucs defense enough to make him an RB1, which is reassuring heading into a Thursday night game at Houston.
Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen completed 19-of-30 for 317 yards with three touchdowns against two interceptions while adding three scores on the ground in a Week 11 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Footballguys view: The wind in Buffalo was a factor, but you wouldn't know it from Allen's colossal fantasy output. He was able to muscle a deep ball to Tyrell Shavers for a score, Ty Johnson took a swing pass to the house, and the Bucs tried to cover James Cook with a defensive end to account for Allen's third touchdown pass. He also finished three drives with touchdown runs, including two that were over 80 yards in the second half to score the go-ahead and game-clinching scores. Allen has dealt with some turmoil and injuries among his passing game targets, but showed why he is an elite QB1 no matter what. Seeing him against the stout Texans defense on Thursday should be very entertaining.

Buffalo Bills WR Keon Coleman will be a healthy scratch for Week 11's game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to multiple sources.
Footballguys view: Coleman reportedly missed a team meeting on Friday, which is not the first time he has had a disciplinary run-in with the team. He can be dropped in redraft leagues as a second-year breakout does not appear to be in the cards.
Buffalo Bills WR Khalil Shakir's 360 yards after catch rank sixth in the NFL and second among wide receivers.

Buffalo Bills WR Khalil Shakir (ankle, ribs) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.
Footballguys view: Shakir has been a steady and reliable receiver but hasn't shown much upside. He's currently the WR31 in fantasy, failing to record a game with more than 18.8 half-PPR points. He can be started as a low-end WR2 against the Buccaneers this weekend.
Buffalo Bills WR Joshua Palmer (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.
Footballguys view: Palmer hasn't played since Week 6 and is set to return against the Buccaneers this week. On one hand, Palmer didn't do much early in the year. On the other hand, the team is desperate for a primary pass-catcher to step up, especially with the absence of Dalton Kincaid this week. Expectations for Palmer were high this offseason. It's hard to trust him in Week 11 lineups, but he's worth a stash in deep leagues to see how his role develops.

Buffalo Bills WR Khalil Shakir (ankle) is 'in a good spot' for Week 11, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Footballguys view: Shakir has proven to be tough and capable of playing through injuries. This ankle, in particular, has popped up on injury reports for the last few seasons. He can be started as a high-end WR3 in what could be a high-scoring affair against the Buccaneers.
Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) is out for Week 11.
Footballguys view: Kincaid has flashed in a couple of games this year, but those performances have been interrupted by a series of injuries that have limited his production. Kincaid hopes to return soon. When he does, fantasy managers will probably want to take a wait-and-see approach. He's worth holding onto in deeper leagues, but he's a streamer in shallow formats.

Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) will not practice on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Footballguys view: Kincaid is considered week-to-week with this hamstring injury. That designation means he's unlikely to play in Week 11. Nothing is official of course, but without Kincaid we'd see more from Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes. There might be more looks for Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir as well.

Sources tell NFL reporter Jordan Schultz that Bills TE Dalton Kincaid is considered week-to-week with a hamstring injury suffered Sunday vs the Dolphins.
Footballguys view: Kincaid -- one of Buffalo's top targets -- has 29 catches for 448 yards and a team-high four TDs this season. It seems likely he'll miss the team's Week 11 game versus the Buccaneers, and potentially longer, though the Bills haven't yet provided an estimated timetable for the third-year pro's recovery. Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes will move up in the rotation if Kincaid is out. We'll follow up as needed.

Tight end Dalton Kincaid appeared to suffer a hamstring injury in the third quarter of the Bills' Week 10 clash with the Miami Dolphins. Buffalo initially ruled him questionable to return. Near the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Bills downgraded Kincaid to out for the remainder of the game.
Footballguys view: Kincaid entered the matchup leading all Bills pass-catchers in receiving yards (411), receiving touchdowns (4), and 20-plus yard receptions (9) through nine weeks. Before his injury, Kincaid was also Buffalo's receiving leader through two and a half quarters in Week 10 with 37 yards on two catches. Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes are next men up at tight end if Kincaid isn't ready to go against the Buccaneers in Week 11.

Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid caught two of three targets for 37 yards in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins.
Footballguys view: Kincaid was the only thing really working for the Bills offense in the first half, and then he left with a hamstring injury. He's probably a long shot to play against Tampa next week.

Buffalo Bills WR Keon Coleman caught three of his eight targets for 46 yards in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins.
Link to storyBuffalo Bills WR Khalil Shakir caught seven of his nine targets for 58 yards in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins.
Link to storyBuffalo Bills RB James Cook gained 53 yards on 13 carries and haiuled in a ll five of his targets for 24 yards in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins.
Footballguys view: Cook wasn't exactly contained, but the game script dictated that the Bills had to pass to dig out of a deficit in the second half, so Cook never really got in a groove. He'll face a stout Bucs run defense next week that just got gashed for two big touchdown runs by TreVeyon Henderson.
