Cardinals WR Michael Wilson caught 11 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Footballguys view: As ESPN.com's Josh Weinfuss suggested, all Wilson does when he's WR1 is go for 100 yards. On Sunday, with Marvin Harrison Jr. out with a heel injury, Wilson put up 37.2 fantasy points, leaving him as WR1 through Sunday's late-afternoon games. That's the third time he's been a WR1 and had 100 yards this year. The Cardinals will face a tough test in Week 15 when they take on the Texans.

Link to storyThe Arizona Cardinals have declared WR Marvin Harrison Jr., CB Max Melton, DT Walter Nolen, RB Emari Demercado, C Evan Brown, WR Xavier Weaver and S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson inactive for Week 14.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals OG Evan Brown (non-injury) has been ruled out of the Week 14 game.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals RB Trey Benson (knee) must be removed from the Reserve/Injured list during the upcoming week or he will become ineligible to play again this season, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. His practice window is slated to close soon and there appears to be a real chance that the Cardinals will decide not to activate him, according to multiple sources.
Footballguys view: After getting in a limited practice on Wednesday last week and then sitting out Thursday and Friday, we have to conclude that he had a setback or at least the injury is not responding as hoped. We would expect him to remain on injured reserve for the rest of the season. Bam Knight is likely to be a good upside flex play. Michael Carter is the receiving back for now, but Emari Demercado did get in a few limited practices this week before sitting Friday and being ruled out.
Arizona Cardinals WR Xavier Weaver (hamstring), who is listed as questionable, is not expected to play against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14, according to a source.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals practice squad WR Trent Sherfield and WR Jalen Brooks were elevated to the active roster Saturday, Dec. 6, and will be available for the Week 14 game.

Arizona Cardinals OG Evan Brown (non-injury) was added to the Week 14 injury report Saturday, Dec. 6, because of a personal issue and is listed as questionable.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals RB Trey Benson (knee), DL D.J. Collier (knee, personal), RB Emari Demercado (ankle), WR Greg Dortch (chest), WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel), CB Max Melton (heel), DL Walter Nolen III (knee), and S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (ankle) did not practice on Friday, Dec. 5, and have been ruled out for Week 14 against the Los Angeles Rams. OL Christian Jones (knee) was limited in practice all week and has been ruled out. WR Xavier Weaver (hamstring) did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. OL Kelvin Beachum (groin) was limited in practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. DL Calais Campbell (rest) did not practice on Friday and no longer appears on the injury report. Arizona Cardinals WR Greg Dortch (chest) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 14 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Footballguys view: Dortch would have had some appealing upside with Marvin Harrison Jr. out. With Dortch inactive, Trey McBride and Michael Wilson should dominate targets. Get both of them in your lineups.

Arizona Cardinals RB Emari Demercado (ankle) did not practice on Friday, Dec. 5, and has been ruled out.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) is out for Week 14.
Footballguys view: After exiting last week's game with this heel injury, Harrison will miss at least one game. Michael Wilson caught 25 of 33 targets for 303 yards over the two recent games Harrison missed. Fire him up as a high-end WR2 in this matchup against the Rams.
Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot) isn't progressing as the team hoped, and he won't play again this season, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon.
Footballguys view: The Cardinals will have a difficult decision to make on Murray this offseason. Will they keep him, trade him, or simply release him and eat $58M in dead cap? They've been getting strong quarterback play from Jacoby Brissett lately, and he deserves a chance to finish out the season. With this news now official, Trey McBride and Michael Wilson both get big bumps to their rest-of-season outlooks.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) did not practice on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Footballguys view: Make sure to have other plans ready as Harrison may have to miss Week 14. A limited practice on Friday would put his status on track, but he might be the dreaded game-time decision for the Cardinals game against the Rams.

Arizona Cardinals RB Trey Benson (knee) will not practice on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Footballguys view: Benson looked to be returning in Week 13, but he might have had a setback in practice. Now, beginning this week as a DNP is not a great sign for his status in Week 14.
Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett has resurrected his career since taking over for QB Kyler Murray. In seven games since taking the reins of the offense, Brissett leads the NFL in completions (204), passing yards (2,188), first downs (106) and 300-yard games (four). He might be a prime candidate to be a key piece of Arizona's 2026 plans, according to beat writer Tyler Drake.
Footballguys view: The Cardinals need a new plan at quarterback. The offense runs better with Brissett than it does Murray, so expect changes at the position this offseason. That could include Brissett as the starter, but he may also be a bridge quarterback to another player. It's not a great quarterback class in 2026, but they'll be looking certainly.

The Cardinals will not open QB Kyler Murray's practice window this week, coach Jonathan Gannon said. The coach added that Murray, who suffered a mid-foot sprain in Week 5, isn't ready to return.
Footballguys view: Murray missed three games before being placed on IR following the Cardinals' win over the Cowboys with Jacoby Brissett at the helm. Arizona's offense has taken a step forward under Brissett. Following Arizona's loss to Tampa Bay, the Cardinals are still seeing a jump in points (23.1) after scoring 20.6 across Murray's five starts. We'll keep watching for more, but it's hard to imagine the Cardinals risking further injury, which could limit their options in dealing with Murray after the season.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) recorded six receptions on seven targets for 69 yards before exiting the Week 13 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a heel injury.
Footballguys view: Harrison looked confident and productive in his return. If the Cardinals give Jacoby Brissett time, Darren Urban of the team's official website believes the Trey McBride-Harrison-Michael Wilson trio will be impactful. But that will depend on this injury. Arizona is out of playoff contention, which could lead to a cautious approach. We'll be watching for more on that as the Cardinals prepare for their Week 14 meeting with the Rams.
Arizona Cardinals TE Trey McBride finished with eight receptions on nine targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in a 20-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13.
