Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) is a 'long shot' to play in Week 4, head coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: Jones hasn't played since Week 2, and it looks like he needs more time to heal. Without Jones, the Jaguars will lean more on Christian Kirk in the passing game. Kirk is worth considering at least as a flex play in Week 4 against the Falcons. |

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Calvin Ridley caught three passes for 40 yards against the Houston Texans in Week 3. He was targeted seven times during the game.
Footballguys view: Ridley was huge in Week 1, quiet in Week 2, and expected to be excellent against a Texans secondary missing one of their best corners. Instead, he was a disappointment along with the rest of the Jaguars passing game. He'll face his old team next week and projects as a boom/bust WR2 against Atlanta. |

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Jamal Agnew caught four passes for 49 yards against the Houston Texans in Week 3. He was targeted five times during the game.
Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk caught four passes for 54 yards and one touchdown against the Houston Texans in Week 3. He was targeted six times during the game.
Footballguys view: Kirk's touchdown saved what would have been a big letdown on a day that was supposed to be big because Zay Jones was sitting and Kirk was facing a vulnerable Texans pass defense. We'll probably leave Kirk in as a WR3/Flex next week, but check practice reports for Jones' status. |

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram caught seven passes for 67 yards against the Houston Texans in Week 3. He was targeted eight times during the game.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby rushed for 10 yards and one touchdown on two carries against the Houston Texans in Week 3.
Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne rushed for 88 yards on 19 carries against the Houston Texans in Week 3. He also caught four passes for 50 yards during the game.
Footballguys view: Unfortunately for Etienne'e fantasy teams, Tank Bigsby got the short touchdown run, which has already happened twice this year. The Texans defense did at least stick to their trend of giving up big games to opposing backfields. The Steelers will be up next for Houston, so perhaps we can get something out of a Pittsburgh back for fantasy. Etienne will face Atlanta and is still looking like a solid pick at ADP. |

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence went 27-for-40 for 279 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Houston Texans in Week 3. He also rushed for 12 yards on three carries during the game.
Footballguys view: Lawrence was one of the biggest disappointments of the day against a Texans defense that was very easy to move the ball against last week vs. Colts. Lawrence will face the up and down Falcons defense next week and isn't a sure QB1 for fantasy until he builds some momentum. |

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk posted game highs with 11 receptions, 110 yards and 14 targets in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Footballguys view: The Jaguars told us Kirk would play a larger role this week, and it paid to listen to them. He'll be a volatile play week-to-week, but next week against the Texans, Kirk should definitely be in lineups. |

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence completed 22-of-41 passes for 216 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He also ran five times for 26 yards while fumbling twice, losing one.
Footballguys view: The Chiefs defense came alive with the return of Chris Jones. Lawrence will get a much easier matchup against the Texans next week, so don't worry about him. Justin Fields will have to try to crack this Chiefs defense next week. |

Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars DB Antonio X. Johnson (hamstring) and CB Gregory Junior (hamstring) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 2 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. C Luke Fortner (ankle), DE Tyler Lacy (hip) and OG Brandon Scherff (ankle) were limited in practice on Friday, Sept. 15, and are listed as questionable.
Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk managed only one catch - on three targets - for nine yards in Week 1 versus the Indianapolis Colts, but head coach Doug Pederson expects him to bounce back in a big way in Week 2 due partly to how often the Kansas City Chiefs utilize man coverage.'Christian thrives against man defense. He'll get his chances,' Pederson told 1010XL's Mia O'Brien.
Footballguys view: The Jaguars are basically telling us to leave Kirk in lineups as a WR3/Flex this week. If he doesn't get it done in what should be a high-scoring game against the Chiefs, it will be time to bench the slot receiver until he puts up numbers on our bench. |
